This coffee shop is a few blocks from my apartment and I find myself craving quality coffee and come here from time to time. This place has a lot of people in it all the time and I think it’s a great place to come if you are looking to find a good place to do some work because it’s pretty quiet for a coffee shop and everyone is pretty respectful of the volume. I also really like the people who work there and they are on the Cups app which is a great way to get good coffee at an awesome price. They are always helpful and eager to make your coffee to the highest standard. The 2 reasons I didn’t go to 5 stars(which can always change in the future) is that the food choices are limited but still delicious and this may not be there fault but The Coffee Bean in East village allows dogs inside and unfortunately push cart does not. I really enjoy taking my dog for walks to shops so that’s the only down side and I refuse to tie her up outside. It’s New York and there are crazy people everywhere! Other than that Push Cart you are the best coffee place in Gramercy to me! :)

Great neighborhood shop. They accept the cups app and their menu is small, in a good way. I had an iced chai and it was very tasty. It will easily be my morning, on the way to work stop.

Great place to work. There is a nice big table in the back, lots of outlets and free wifi. They have almond milk so I was happy! As for the service… the girl who took my order was kind of rude. I asked what a Cortado was and she gave me a look that really made me feel like I was stupid. She said it meant equal parts espresso and milk. According to coffee-wiki, a cortado«is an espresso „cut“ with a small amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. The ratio of coffee to milk is between 1:1 — 1:2, and the milk is added after the espresso». The atmosphere was nice inside. Outside was some scaffolding which was not pleasing to the eye, but hey, «It’s what’s inside that counts», right? Even though the girl was rude, I am assuming she was having a bad day and I will go back to work there if I am ever in NY again.

This place echoes a lot and voices travel way too much in this place. Definitely not a place I would come to work again, especially with the loud baristas chatting together amidst customers working on computers. Also coffee portions are super small in comparison to other similar places.

We went just to get coffee to go. The regular coffee was sooooooo bitter, as was the mocha. The server didn’t care about her customers as she chatted away with her coworkers about her social life. Big thumbs down.

Good coffee. Good food, when available(sometimes they run out) and good place to sit and work on your computer.

This place is packed on a Saturday afternoon. They make the most of their space though and provide plenty of outlets, strong wifi, friendly staff. You’ve got a great variety of patrons here, although the majority are on laptops. The music is good, not too loud, calming. Then you look over and you see a little budding family, parents and a little baby. Good mix. The drinks are pretty expensive for what you get… $ 4 for a very small cup of chai latte. But it’s the BEST chai latte I have ever had. So totally worth the splurge in wallet and calories. They also have little noshes — slices of bread cakes, brownies, muffins, croissants, cookies. They also sell coffee beans not surprisingly. All in all cute place, convenient location, good space.

They accept the Dollop App, code PXWRXP but there seems to be no Levelup at this one. Friendly staffer dished out a very forgettable cookie, though…

Decided to expand my coffee repertoire. Everyone here is very engaging and friendly. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is very chill. Nice décor, solid marketing. Could use something to make the pastry case appear more full, if only a matched sign saying«out!»

The space is great to do work. A huge table in the middle and tables along the walls. I got a lavender donut and a latte. The donut was good, but the latte was disappointing. The taste was a bit bitter and burnt. The frothed milk was just sloppily thrown in there. Doubt I’ll ever come back.

Got an iced coffee and thought it was average. Has seating which is nice. Basically your average NYC coffeeshop, nothing too special but a nice place if you’re from the area.

Pushcart Coffee brings a uniqueness to the area that’s definitely needed. With the exception of a few Starbucks locations nearby, this chunk of Rose Hill has no other coffee cafés(unless there’s one I’m missing, or you count mywaycup and FIKA on Lex and 23rd). What the atmosphere brings is a downtown vibe perfect for working students and neighborhood residents.(If you’re looking for a more chatty, less laptop-centric bar, you’ll be hard pressed for a half mile or more.) While the playlist is phenomenal, the staff is semi-punk friendly, and they have a nice variety of pastries, the coffee is lacking. The nodes of the espresso in my cappuccino was drowned by milk, and I found myself seeking caffeination soon after. I’m sure the deviation from an existing company’s roast was an attempt to bring authenticity to their own brand but their pulls need some pump. While this review may seem somewhat directionless, I’d still recommend Pushcart to see if it pleases your palette. At the least you’ll be charmed by an environment these blocks are sorely missing.(And perhaps the SVA curriculum books amongst their permenant collection make me positively-biased as I wish they were in business when I was a student…)

I went to Pushcart on 2nd while staying nearby at the W in Union Square. The shop was pretty busy when I arrived, but I managed to grab a chair by the window. The service wasn’t anything to rave about, but the baristas were friendly enough. I stayed for a few hours and had a black coffee, oatmeal and almond croissant which were all delicious. Later I discovered another Pushchart in Chelsea off 25th which I prefer for it’s better customer service and bigger space. *Side note — they accept the Cups App which is a prepaid coffee plan. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, do so and use my code«akayb» and we’ll bot get free coffee credit!

Great drinks, variety of milk options, friendly staff, plus outlets and wifi. One of the best cafes in NYC.

I’d been eyeing this place for a while, but since there is a Starbucks literally right around the corner from where I live, I haven’t felt inclined to expand my horizons. This weekend, I downloaded the Cups app and was pleased to find out that in addition to Pushcart Coffee being one of the partners, I had one free drink to redeem! This coffee shop has plenty of natural lighting and seating, which makes for a great place to hunker down to study. Otherwise, with all the windows, it is the perfect place to people watch on a random Sunday morning. I must give props for the barista who was working there by herself when I was there. Even with the long line of customers waiting to order, she was totally cool and didn’t seem flustered at all! Free wifi and the large, clean bathroom are huge pluses!

We need more of these kind of spots! It’s great for having a cup of joe with some friends or a place to study when needed. Heck, even have small group meetings! I simply love this spot! It doesn’t get too crowded like the chains of starbucks! Parking may be a bit of a challenge but, do-able after 6pm!

Coffee was decent, but way too expensive. Cashier was very friendly, barista was not so much. And there was no sweet n’ low… I’m forever on a quest for sweet n’ low…

Cold brew coffee was ok. Paid 5.75 totsl. I ordered an extra shot in my brew. It wasn’t remarkable or some great flavor. Just average beans. I ordered an extra shot which made it test normal strength. Now I would be curious to see what it tastes like without the extra shot of espresso. I need to find a good coffee shop on 1st Ave. Maybe I’ll just stick to 1.75 coffee at the deli. Coffee def not work 5.75.
