This location is closed! I went by today and according to Unilocal it says it’s open. It was a good place for Thai. Sad that is closed down.

The service and staff were great and very friendly. The food was not the best. I had the the shrimp drunken noodles and it did not compare to other places I have eaten. There were only a few shrimps in my dish and the noodles were ok. While the staff is great the food was the downfall for me.

One word: EW! Three more words: NEVEREATHERE We ordered from Q2 from Seamless today 3÷27÷2015 in a big group(as we often do) and FOUND A COCKROACH in one of the pad see-ew bowls!!! See the photo for evidence. The rest of the group was so horrified that we all lost our appetites… especially because a couple of other people had also ordered pad see-EW. Easily the most traumatizing takeout experience of my life. So so SO nasty.

Great lunch spot! A friend and I were actually heading for a weekday lunch at Wondee Siam. We happened to pass by this place first and she mentioned that she tried it once before and it was good. And since we saw plenty of tables available, we decided to check this place out. We went for their lunch special which is a great deal for the midtown area. It’s $ 8-$ 10 and you get a mini appetizer that comes with a small side salad, an entrée, and a soda. For the appetizer, I had the curry puff. I’m usually not a huge fan of curries but this one wasn’t bad. The curry flavor wasn’t overpowering. The puff was a tad soggy though. For an entrée, at Thai places — I usually order one of the same three things: pad thai, pad see euw, or drunken noodles. This time was no different(I know, I know, I need to step out of my comfort zone. It’s not that I’m a picky eater — I just love Thai noodle dishes!). So I went with the drunken noodles. I really like this dish but a lot of places make it way too spicy for me to eat without drinking a ridiculous amount of water to combat the heat. So for a while, I avoided it until one day, the light bulb went off! Why not just ask them to make it less spicy?! It’s a crazy idea but it just might work! And so that’s what I’ve been doing. Q2 got the spice level of my noodles on fleek!(is that how you would use that term? I don’t know. I’m old so I just recently found out about that word) It looks like it’s a small portion but I was actually pretty full afterwards and was falling into a food coma, not wanting to go back to work.

The chicken dumplings were tasty and a pretty big portion for just $ 6. Came out super fast which made my growling tummy happy. Summer roll was ok. I thought it was a bit bland with the tofu, shrimp and avocado not having too much flavor of their own. The swirly peanut sauce wasn’t all that great. The tom yum soup was the highlight for my husband, but his bulgogi was somewhere between terrible and an overly salted mess of chewy meat. Not recommended. Bonus points for having $ 4 happy hour wines although the glasses were suspiciously tiny.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has declined drastically. Recently I ordered take out as well as dined in the restaurant. The service is always top notch and the staff is very friendly however the food is just not as good as it used to be. There was hardly any duck in the duck rolls. It was all cucumbers. How sad. The chicken massaman curry lacked any depth of flavor and the shrimp pad thai had a poor showing as well. Well I will downgrade this to 2 stars… one star for the service, and another since the thai iced tea was still good.

Green curry noodles tasted great but the chicken was over cooked and the bamboo shoots undercooked and tough. Noodles were slimey but maybe that’s normal. Golden curry was boring. Awesome ginger Julips! Good service and a lot of food, and fast. We walked around before a Broadway show trying to find a place to eat that wasn’t too expensive and no wait time on a Saturday night and this place was perfect. Maybe on a slower night the food would have been prepared better. Next time would try the drunken noodles.

I used to love Q2 but when I was disappointed with the subpar dishes upon my last visit. The Duck Rolls(roasted duck, scallions, cucumbers and hoisin sauce wrapped in a pancake) should now be called Cucumber Rolls because there’s barely any duck and the pancake was not flavorful at all! The Curry Puff(with chicken, potatoes and onions in puff pastry) are now half as big as they used to be :(Boooo

My boyfriend and I have been here twice, each for lunch, and both times were extremely satisfied. The food is spiced perfectly. Spicy was actually spicy, but not overwhelming. The lunch special is cheap, $ 8 – 10, which includes an appetizer, a salad and the entrée. The size is perfect for lunch, maybe even more than enough, and the service is quick and friendly. Definitely recommend!

I must say, Q2 Thai is definitely one of my go to spots for Thai in Hell’s Kitchen. I came here for the first time for a birthday and I loved it! I took my boyfriend here twice after that. I’ve had the Pad See We, Drunken noodles, Pad Thai Wood Sen, ALLAMAZING. I’ve had chicken dumplings, fried calamari, mermaid shrimp and summer rolls. Awesome happy hour deals too! My favorite appetizer is definitely the mermaid shrimp, so good!

I love their pineapple fried rice. They don’t over season. And they have 5 $ cocktails at happy hour. You really can’t beat that. I eat fried rice while my friends drink. ;) I really like the quality here. Better than YUMYUM!

If Pure Thai down the avenue has too long a wait but you still want Thai food, this is where you will wind up. It’s got everything you expect on a Thai menu in New York, and a straightforward presentation that is right for the price but is not distinctive. Drunken Noodles is a favorite among all my friends who go here. The staff are friendly and hard-working, but make sure they understand your order, since they are prone to small mistakes.

Very average thai place that we went to because Wondee Siam had too long of a wait next door. I wouldn’t have minded as much, but it was ALSO kind of pricey. I wouldn’t choose to go back based on that alone.

Just OK. I was looking for a place to eat before catching the bus back to Delaware, so clearly, I wanted to find something that I can’t really get here. I noticed their lunch special and decided to go in. Firstly, the music was varied and not really in a great way. I wanted something calm but they were playing Gin & Juice when I sat down. Love that song, but not while I’m getting ready to eat panang curry. The music changed throughout the meal — Hip hop, pop, and asian pop. Weird weird weird. The salad was fine, typical ginger dressing, one piece of cucumber. The spring roll was good but very greasy. Also typical. The panang curry was not bad but definitely not the best I’ve had. It was a bit too salty and a bit too spicy for me. The wait staff was just kind of hanging around doing nothing, and started doing each other’s hair. From start to finish, not the worst experience, but definitely not the best. A-OK.

Real time lunch review time! Ordered the Chicken Dumplings, Kee Mao Special with duck(uhm…drunken noodles fornicating with Pad Thai??? YES, MA’AM!!!), and a Thai Iced Tea to wash all that caloric goodness down! Order confirmed at 12:55pm. Estimated delivery within 40 minutes. 1 block, and 3ish aves away from my office. Let us see! Arrived in 20 minutes! Let’s see if this be a good or bad thang ;-) Thai Iced Tea packaged well, nice size for the price, and VERY yummy(great balance of the spice syrup, milk, and tea for that PERFECT shade of sienna)! Chicken dumplings were kind of thrown into the container haphazardly. But, hey. They give five, they’re amply filled, and flavorful! A bit salty, but not in a bad way. Kee Mao — For the price in midtown? Not a horrible portion. Lots of duck, and sliced so you can tell it’s actually duck. About 9 – 10 slices in total. Good spice, which builds nicely as you make your way through the dish. More Drunken Noodle than Pad Thai… and no sprinkling of crushed peanuts… but I liked it! More like 3.5 stars… but with that awesome delivery time? Gonna round that ish up! It might just be worth making my way through the rest of their lunch special menu…

Q2 Thai is one of my favorite thai restaurants. I love getting the drunken noodles at this place because it is just spicy. If you can take the heat, definitely get the drunken noodles here. Probably one of the best in the city. I recommend the Roast Duck Pad Kee Mao. People would usually not think of getting duck as the protein but it works so well! So delicious. If you don’t like down, there is a variety of proteins to choose from and combinations to make. I’ve also had the pad thai, pad see ew, calamari, and the summer rolls here and they were all great. Anything here is good. There atmosphere here at night is loud and usually packed. I would say that the restaurant isn’t too small but it’s also not that big.

One of the best Thai drunken noodles in town. Here’s why: — any choice of protein blends well with the noodles. — spiciness can be adjusted to your liking. — the noodles are perfectly done(not soggy or al dente). — it cost less than $ 10. The restaurant serves a wide variety of choices from their menu. However I only come here whenever I’m craving drunken noodles. They have a bar that serves decent mixtures of cocktails and they stored decent bottles of wines. I admire the fastness and efficiency of service here. The waiters are pleasant and attentive to your needs. NOTE: there are many theories about the name of the dish. Wikipedia explains some.

This is for Delivery. My hubby and I tried many Thai delivery place in the area and Q2 Thai is probably the best one we have found so far if considering deliver time, taste and quality of food, how often they screw up with the order… etc. We have orded Q2 Thai at least 5 times already, and each time we got our food within 30 minutes even it’s peak hour. We found their noodles are at much better quality and taste better than other places. Besides, they haven’t messed up our order thus far. And their price is also very reasonable.

I ordered take out from here last night and it was decent. When I called, I asked how the Golden Curry was because I didn’t know what it was — not your typical green, red, panang, massman, or jungle. The hostess hesitated on the phone and asked if I liked spicy food. After I told her I did, she recommended the red curry instead. I didn’t even both asking how the Golden Curry was, but the fact that she didn’t have anything to say about it pretty much answered it. I got the Red Curry with Tofu and brown rice. The price is pretty good, $ 10 + $ 1 for brown rice, which is comparable to most of the other Thai restaurants in the area. The portion size was large compared to other restaurants. The red curry was OK… it was spicy(perfect for me) but it didn’t have much taste to it. They put A LOT of tofu in the curry, but the amount of veggies was good. Overall, it’s a 3⁄5 stars because the food was a bit bland, but the price and portion size are good.
