I am SO glad I found Benjamin Yang at QGS Lapidary! I do a lot of healing work with crystals, and was pretty upset when the single terminated selenite wand I often used had fallen on the floor, chipping off the pointed tip. Benjamin, who does his personal work under the name New Majestic Lapidary, was able to remedy that issue right away, polishing the wand to the once again finely pointed tip. I was able to pick it up the next day, and the cost was very reasonable. As icing on the cake, he is so easy and pleasant to work with, as were the other gentlemen at the office. Also, you can tell he is knowledgeable about his work, and takes pride in it. I am definitely bringing any and all crystal work here from now on.

I brought an unusual stone here to have it cut — an agate from a beach my family visits every year. The stone has little monetary value, but a lot of emotional significance because of its origin. Ben, the lapidarist, gave me as much care and attention as if I’d brought in a sack of emeralds. He pointed out an inclusion in the stone, and worked out a backup plan in case it broke along that line. When I got it back, I was thrilled with the work — a sharp, triangular cabochon, exactly like the sketch I showed him. For all this I paid significantly less than I expected. Highly recommended.

Excellent lapidary work. The lapidist is supremely experienced(25+ years) and works very hard to create the finest products. Already receiving requests from around the world, without a doubt one of the best in the city. Great customer service as well.
