Quality Art & Framing

I had two big pieces framed here after visiting about 10 shops across the city. They were truly interested in making sure that the frame would not only fit the artwork but would also complement the décor in my apartment. I was amazed at the amount of time they devoted to me, they truly went out of their way to make sure I would be happy with the finished project.
Sam had excellent communication and kept me informed every step of the way. They work quickly, the pieces were finished before promised and were absolutely gorgeous. The frame I chose for my suzani (fabric hanging) was so unique, you can never find it anywhere else. The prices were definitely reasonable, I got an amazing frame of a much higher quality then other shops for cheaper then the basic gold style frame.
Since my pieces were a bit larger, I definitely appreciated the free delivery!

I would definitely use them again! The price was very reasonable, and the quality exceeded my expectations.
The guy called me as soon as it was ready, I was at work and needed the art the same night but I would arrive home very late, so I asked him to deliver and leave it in my building with the porter; I came home at 9PM and I got so happy my art work was already there!
The guy was more than a framer, he made the selection process easier by inquiring about the colors of my furniture and explained to me what would’ve combine or contrast with my décor. I’m glad I found them…

We have taken two items to Quality Art & Framing in the three months since we moved to Midtown East. We have found their service excellent so far. One item was an original piece of 1980s modern Dutch art (layered paper), and the other was a limited edition print by a UK artist. Both were beautifully framed, with a great proportion of mount and frame. The art really shines out, and you look at the art not the frame — which is the point of course. Mr B proposed a black line inside the mount for the second print, which we were initially doubtful about, but worked brilliantly. He tried to propose different frame weights for the first piece, but we knew exactly what we wanted and he had just the frame to match. The second time he knew better and just found exactly what we were after straight away! It’s enjoyable going in here and talking about your pieces, and a thrill to get your art back so nicely framed, and ready to hang. We’d recommend Mr B even if we didn’t live over the road from the shop.

Best service ever. I’m very happy they were able to meet my needs in a short time I was pressed for time and Sam went out of his way to accommodate me. Very happy and grateful. :)

Cannot comment on poster framing or other work. Poor workmanship in what they did for me. Took a painting in for framing. Asked for double matting and museum quality glass. The double matting was not cut straight and you can see some nicks along the cut. The glass turned out to be conservation glass and not museum quality which I asked for. The price is lower than another store near by. So if you want reasonable pricing for a simple job, this may be your place. If you desire a quality job for something a bit more complex, I did not find it here.

Do not come here, the guy is a total rip off. He won’t fix his work and woods not like to hear it is done wrong. He is a hot head, will snap and threaten you, if you do not agree with his framing.
Honestly, I only came here because of the discount, and it was a total rip off anyway. I tried to leave, during negotiations, but he dropped the price, which was good. However, the quality of the work was simply sh*t.
