Reading In Preschool

Finding Liz and Reading in Preschool was the best thing I did. My daughter was 2 and she loved to read and since it occupied a lot of her time as well, I wanted her to learn how to read faster. Liz was very good with her lesson plans and teaching my daughter different sounds. The reading really just took off from there. Start them young and they will develop a love of reading.

We had Liz with us (home lessons) 2x week for about 6 months when our daughter was in 1^st grade. And she was great! Very engaging and methodical and has lots of clever «toys» so the kids don’t even know they are learning. Our daughter’s reading level was evaluated quite low at the beginning of 1^st grade, and she was frustrated with her reading struggle, but by the end of the year with Liz’s help she was a reading champ and has fallen back in love with books.

WOW, this business produces results! We hired Reading in Preschool after a friend tried them out for 7 months prior to her daughter entering kindergarten and was amazed her 4 year old was suddenly reading at grade 1 level. We had the same astounding results, within 3.5 short months my 6.5 year old first grader jumped 7 levels in reading, from a B-​C to a solid J level reader. Our tutor Adam Columbia is now focusing on writing skills with my daughter. I cannot say enough great things about Adam, he is incredibly patient and can pinpoint exactly where my daughter needs help and always comes prepared with a variety of interesting methods and tools to engage my daughter into focusing on those problematic areas.
