Good solid diner food. The hostess was really nice that seated us and our waiter was super attentive and friendly. I am a picky eater because I’m unfortunately allergic to everything… everything was perfect. The food we had looked super duper fresh and was delicious. My party had burgers and sandwiches and soup… This place is super close to me so it is a perfect spot for some yummy comfort food. The only bad thing was I think he was the owner? He was very unfriendly as we left he just glared at us and gave us the most unfriendly thank you ever… when I mean glared I mean he could have bored 2 holes in my head with the nasty look he gave us… we paid and tipped well so I don’t know what his damage was about. Unfortunately this was the last taste in my mouth for my first visit here to Remedy… but the food and service was so good I’ll be back.

I have been a long time customer to remedy diner but the last two times ordering delivery there was a horrible experience. first time I found a died fly in my burger and the second time ordering the deliver guy try to rob the customer by acting he don’t have change, trying to pull a fast way and make $ 10.00 tip. Mine you my order was on 27.50 gave the deliver guy $ 50.00, he try to just give us back 12 dollar change. After a while of argument the deliver guy pull out his wallet and gave us back a $ 20.00. bottom line is that customer have to right to choose how tip they want to give not how much the deliever wants.

I placed an order online via Seamless. I ordered Salmon and received Chicken… I called to let them know and have it rectified and was told that I ordered chicken, basically being called a liar. After review of my confirmation email and a complaint call to seamless I called back to let them know that I DID in fact order Salmon. I was told that I would be issued a credit for«next time» as if there would ever be a «next time»! DON’T BOTHERWITHTHISSUB-PARESTABLISHMENT.

Slow service, mediocre to terrible food. The manager himself got my order wrong and then refused to correct my bill and was a total pig about it. There are so many LES gems nearby that outshine Remedy, I hate that I went in and wasted my time and money at this diner. Go anywhere but here.

Came here late night(around 3am) after a fun night out. Good was decent, service was good, our waiter was nice. I would recommend coming here when you leave the club or bar and just need to refuel. Still a good place to go to all in all.

The corn beef hash tastes like canned tuna. The«hash browns» if you wanna call them that, were so dry that they literally crumbled into powder. $ 15 and the only thing that was edible was the egg. And it was cold.

My grandma loves this place for the bagel and lox platter. Its a pretty good diner in a city that doesnt have so many options left. Huge menu and everything is pretty good but nothing is out of this world fantastic

I come into the city every Friday on my deliveries and there is only place I will go to have lunch…@Remedy The food is always fast and delicious… LOVE the New England Clam chowder on Fridays… The manager and servers are always helpful… they have a huge menu and have never had a bad meal at this place… Also there coffee/espresso for me is one of the best at any diner in NYC. If you are in the city and did a need a fast meal or going for a family brunch/lunch this is the place I would highly recommend!!! Cheers!

The poutine was okay, but oh my god, the grilled cheese! Maybe it was the alcohol, but this was the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had in my life. It could very well have been the alcohol, but I’d definitely come back to have another.

I am so very disappointed in the treatment my group got by the manager Teddy at Remedy last night. We were told we were being too loud which surprised my group of 6, so we lowered our voices to a whisper and apologized and asked the tables around us if we were being disruptive — no complaints of being too loud from anyone around us. We get our food and Teddy comes by again to complain and tell us to get out if we are going to be loud. Again, I will be the first to admit my faults but we were NOT being disruptive. I have never felt so disrespected and degraded. We ate our meal, paid our bill and exited then I went back in to try and speak with Teddy. He did not even make eye contact, he refused to acknowledge me. I am so disappointed in the treatment we received. The employees there were very kind and tried their best to diffuse the situation but it is astonishing to me that a restaurant would have someone like Teddy managing and representing them. Management, if you are reading this, I let you know now that I will be posting this on all social media. Sincerely, Mistreated Customer

The food was alright. Not spectacular, not bad. The service however, completely different story. Definitely bad enough that I will never be coming here again. Even if it were the last diner on earth. I came here with one other person. They seated us as by the side with the sliding doors/windows(whatever you call them) open. It wasn’t a hot day at all. It was a chilly day, 63 degrees F according to , with no sun. We requested for them to close just our half of the doors/windows thing and the host pointed at the table by the other half of the windows and said, «Oh, but they want it open.» I restated that I just wanted my half closed, so he did it grudgingly. Watching him close them, they were pretty hard to push so I guess I can understand why he doesn’t want to. After seeing that we can request to have the windows closed, the table that he claimed wanted them open ALSO asked to have them closed. So basically he lied to us to get out of closing the window. I ordered the Quattro Formaggio Frittata(it’s the last one in the omelette section I believe). At the top of the omelette section, it says that the order comes with toast & potato. When my order came, it only came with potatoes. My friend, who also ordered off the omelette section, got both. The host came over to see how everything was going so I asked him if my order was supposed come with toast. He said yes and said he’ll have someone bring it. The waitress, Maria, came by our area with toast but didn’t know which table it was for and I said it should be for me and she tells me, «Oh but your order doesn’t come with toast.» I told her that the menu said it does and the host said it does and she got all huffy and said, «Fine, here, but I wouldn’t lie to you.» Attitude much? At the end of our meal, we didn’t finish everything so we told a waiter that passed by we wanted to get our leftovers to go. He said someone will be by. We waited for someone for 10 minutes. No one came by. I walked up to the register and told the lady there that we wanted to get our leftovers to go and that we wanted our check. She sent Maria back to our table. Maria dropped off the check and asked what we wanted to take home. My friend pointed at her portion and before I even had a chance to say I wanted to take my pancakes to go as well, she whisked away my friend’s plate and walked away. This was the only time the service there was ever fast. I had to stop someone else to get my pancakes bagged. I’m not expecting 5-star service from a diner, but the staff here can be so rude. It wasn’t even that busy when I went so I don’t know what their excuse is. Based on the previous reviews I see on Unilocal,I’m not the only one who feels they have subpar customer service.

Me and the girlfriend came in here for some coffee and cake/pie. It was late on a Monday night so we walked right in and sat at the bar. The two gentleman behind the bar were quick to give us napkins and silverware and take our order. Coffee and pie for me, espresso and cake for her. Both were good and came out fast. Asked for the check and we’re on our way a few minutes later. I had an enjoyable time here and the food/drink was good, I’ll definitely stop by again and maybe give the food menu a try and see how they are.

I live extremely close to this diner and have frequented the establishment a number of times. It’s a decent place with decent food. What makes me keep coming back is the fact that it’s open 24⁄7. Everything on the menu is pretty decent. I always love asking about the soup of the day as they give you a huge bowl and it always tastes pretty good. My favorite so far has been the chicken jambalaya. Additionally, the bacon cheeseburger was pretty incredible. The service is okay depending on who is seeing you. It’s either really great or very mediocre. A couple of times there was a gentleman that was being extremely rude and unfriendly towards my friend. On the other hand, the gentleman with the silver hair is always very pleasant. Decent food, fantastic that it’s open 24⁄7.

Remedy is completely solid all around. The interior is pretty massive and totally spotless, and one of their walls opens completely to the outside which is super pleasant. The staff is noticeably attentive, prices are reasonable, the burger and fries are fantastic, and their open 24 hours. Full review at

Good service, food came out quickly, and food was good too. Tried the french toast with eggs, and the buttermilk pancakes with bacon. Total bill was $ 19. Definitely your average diner quality, but it’s right around the corner and they’re open late. Our waters were always refilled, and the presentation of the breakfast was great. I prefer a sweeter, more flavorful pancake, but the french toast was great using challah bread, and the eggs were perfectly sunny side up. They brought fluffy white butter to the table, and our meals were dusted lightly with cinnamon and powdered sugar.

I was desperate need of coffee and food at 2am so I turned to Remedy Diner. I will not make that mistake again. My Mocha: 1) Ordered iced, came hot instead 2) The cup was ¾ full 3) No whipped cream(even though it’s clearly in their description) I’ve ordered from seamless 50+ times and never had an order screwed up that bad. I really don’t understand how a place can charge $ 5.00 for a mocha and make it so horribly. Also, my parfait was tiny, lackluster, and cost me $ 8.00. Not worth it!

Came here on a Sat night for dinner. Ambiance is typical of your NYC diner and very tidy but nothing super fancy. I ordered the penne ala vodka and my fiancé had the BBQ chicken quesadilla. Both were very good and reasonably priced. Food portions were of great size also. They also serve beer, about $ 7 for a pint. Service was prompt and our server came by a few times to check up on us a few times. Would recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual quick dinner or lunch.
