I met Steven at the NYPL where he masquerades as a volunteer career coach. It was a very vulnerable time for me, as I had just lost my job and desperately needed help to get me on track and plan my job search. Steven is a very personable guy and was very sweet and comforting when I needed an ear. What started out as a seemingly genuine professional relationship, gradually led to a very uncomfortable, inappropriate exchange. He used every opportunity to insert innuendo in our conversations and suggested meeting in a more casual setting to continue our dialogue.
I don’t want to go into any more detail publicly, and just thinking about him makes my skin crawl. I don’t know if anyone else has had a similar experience but if you are an attractive woman and need career advise — stay away from this predator!
