Came here twice for a dental cleaning. The first time was just OK. Second time was AWFUL! The hygienist was rough and forgot to floss my teeth. Not good. I also came at a time when there were no patients in the office and the staff were just standing around, laughing and doing nothing. They made me wait 30 minutes. Unacceptable. On a final note, this office is terribly dirty and much of the equipment and furniture is worse for wear. It’s unsanitary(not to mention just plain gross). I won’t be back and I DON’T recommend this place.

I went to see him because I was between dentists and a crown with a post had fallen out. This has fallen out every several years and has always been put back in without a problem. The repair usually lasts several years. Not in this case, however. It fell out the same night. I was charged $ 250 for the service. Actually, the first charge was for $ 650. Then they claimed they realized they made a mistake and changed the charge to $ 250. I am also wondering why it fell out since there was no further decay under the crown. I was uneasy from the minute his assistant walked into the examining room. The first words out of her mouth contained the word«implant» even before any examination or X-ray was taken. That word came up repeatedly. I have left other practices that I thought were implant happy. What I know is that an implant is extremely profitable for the dentist. I have come to feel that some dentists circle an old crown like vultures. They give me the feeling that they are just looking for an excuse to do an implant. This leaves me unsure whether such a recommendation is in the best interest of the patient or the best interest of the dentist’s bottom line. So I am unsure as to why that crown fell out that very night. I can think of 3 possible reasons: 1. It was an «honest» mistake; 2. It was incompetence; 3. the dentist had a financial motivation to see this simple procedure fail. In fact, before I left, he stated that if it didn’t work, I would need an implant since there were no other options. I pointed out to him that I had always been told that as long as there was no further decay under the crown, there should be no problem just gluing it back in. He concurred. In any event, I could never have any confidence in him. Update. I took the crown to another dentist. He successfully glued the crown back in. He charged $ 65.
