I live nearby and ordered a large house special pizza for take-out. Price was fair, pizza was good and ready in 20 mins, and the guy behind the counter was super friendly. Good spot.

Pizza slice was tasting strong pastry and was not heated up. This is a no go! Yes it was crowed and the people behind the counter was busy but when I pay as a customer I would like to get a heated pizza from the oven and not a cold slice. The atmosphere behind the counter was also strange, because of the crowed(the Boss /the cashier?) was shouting at this coworkers that I had a bad feeling. Hey! I want just a slice of pizza and not get a bad feeling because I give you my money. Very rude. This people wasn’t friendly and therefore I have no reason to go back to this place and there are so many other pizzas in the city.

Just the place to get a slice of foldable greasy pizza at midnight after a night of Comic Book Fun at The Rockbar! Sliced sausage, great guy behind the counter! YUM!

I was hungry and wanted a bite to eat. Went in here to grab a slice and my husband got a jamaican beef patty. Was there a Grade rating outside this place that allowed it to stay open? They had people who just walked in and out and ate their own food rather than buying anything. One of their customers or just a guy in the store was there trying to sell people candles out of a shopping bag. And the slice no better than a sbarros. However, I do give it 1 extra star because the people working there were so freaking nice. They helped a poor old guy down a flight of stairs, smiled, just nice people.

I ordered a Veal Parm Hero for lunch just a few days back. When I went to pick up, I paid, the owner said thank you, and I went home to enjoy… a chicken parm with ziti. When I called to ask what happened he said they 1) ran out of the hero bread and 2) substituted the veal for chicken because it’s «more fresh». Not being the one to complain and being hungry nonetheless, I had a chicken parm entrée whose chicken was clearly a frozen, commercial made, cutlet and whose mozzarella was lacking in flavor and overwhelmingly salty. Pasta was mushy as it was sitting in a pool of watered down marinara. With so many pizzerias in the city, I’ll never be back here.

I wanted Pizza. No I really wanted Pizza. I mean I deliberated over getting a slice from 10:00 am — 2:00 pm. Eff it, better go and get a slice. I know I should have headeto Joe’s. I knew the minute I left the office I was headed to Joe’s. Then that cold wall of wind hit me when I left the building and my punk ass scurried over to Rivollis. I hate to do this because the guys are so nice!!! The children chilling with their icees seemed so happy, but the pizza was underwhelming. I don’t know what it is with more pizzerias, and why they skim on the tomato sauce but still maintain that same cheese ratio, I don’t know why the cheese just seems like a tasteless excuse of nothingness, but that sums it up right there, Nothingness. It was thin crusted and looked so promising but it was such a letdown. Like the good looking guy who eyes you from across the way, approaches you and is as a dense as a bag of bricks. They are moving across the street soon, I wish them success and a better recipe.
