Got a Groupon in January and got a great massage. Went back yeterday with a lot of pain in my back /hip. Lisa plowed into my back, did stretching. I hurt /am sore today but it is normal because of all the knots I had. This place is not fancy but clean(I am pretty picky). I had massages at different places and I like this place. I got a package for $ 200.00 — 5 massages(comes to $ 40.00/massage — can’t beat that!). And yes, tax of 4.5% is legal in NYC if massage is performed by a licensed masseuse. Also, they are generous with their time. I got like a little bit over 1 h, so that’s cool! Lisa is great and Shelly at the desk is also very nice.

I’m surprised this place is rated 3 stars. I found a deal on groupon for it and it had good ratings. If you want to sit in a room that smells like moldy towels, stick your feet in a dirty bucket of water, be massaged with vaseline and have a masseuse who doesn’t understand English then you will love it here. Otherwise spent the extra money to go to a nice clean place where you won’t worry about leaving with a fungus. The massage was decent which is why I’m giving it 2 star.

I went here last few months for foot reflexology. and I paid $ 22 on average and they never charged tax but I tipped the guy. The massages were okay and once in a while better than that leaving me to sleep and relax. Last two times they have annoyed me to the point that I was ready to walk out for their refusal. first the girl asked last time and this time $ 2 tax. I showed her my receipt for $ 20 from groupon x 4.5% personal services tax is more around 80 cents not $ 2. I got an argument. Tonight before I even had a massage she was talking in chinese to the worker and she insisted I pay 20% tip I told her this is supposed to be relaxing and she s stressing me out. so she was refusing the service. I was going to leave and the worker agrees to do the massage. I didnt get the 10 min back rub which I used to get and he ended a few minutes early. I was not able to relax during this massage after all that arguing. I didnt like the massage either. it was rough and poor. When I left I didnt see the guy so i just walked out without giving the tip. and the girl at the desk was asking again for me to tip. i just left out the door since hes not there and I thought she was going to chase after me. I will never go back here as there services to me went fro 10 to 0. Tipping is optional. The place seems emptier than usual because they are chasing away customers if they keep arguing and giving ultimatums over tips. They stressed me out and lost a customer.

Great massages and reflexology. Yes it looks a little seedy but for the price you really can’t beat it. The management and staff are really nice and the masseurs are really good.

A great place, quiet, calm and no «Street people» there. I have been there twice, for a full body massage and another time for reflexology. Both massages were absolutely great, no rush and a great atmosphere. This is my favorite place right now. I can recommend it.

For the price(I had a Groupon) it’s incredible. I got a massage, and although it was not a 5 star atmosphere(more like a 2) it was a great massage and I will be back.

I found this place on Groupon. I bought the deal because I saw it had 89% on approval. The stairwell up to the second floor was really underwhelming. When I got inside, the place was dim. I had a 1pm appt so there was tons of lights out yet didn’t feel like it. I observed and there was two things that caught my eyes: a can of RAID and a sign that said they don’t provide extra special services. I thought, what did I get myself into??? They asked me for $ 3 for tax and collected it before my services. I was greeted by a young girl. They had a ton of rooms in the back. I didn’t feel like it was dirty so that made me better. My massage was just mediocre but honestly what do I expect when it’s a cheap groupon deal.

It was a pretty good deal with the groupon and you also received a card with $ 2 off the next visit — I enjoyed my reflexology massage — it was worth it I’ll definitely go back for the full body massage

Beware they sell a Groupon for 60min reflexology massage for $ 30 but that is the actual price, so don’t buy it. I spoke with Groupon and they wouldn’t refund me so I went to get the massage and the place is up very dirty, dingy stairs and it is not relaxing or welcoming. I felt cheap and regretted coming. The massage itself was regular and from previous experiences not reminiscent of true reflexology, at all.

Firstly, I bought a special on Groupon for a 60 minute reflexology foot massage for $ 30 which I learned once there, is there regular price… the massage itself was good; however, I must agree with other reviews, the space is very large for the foot massage area, they do not give headphones and you can hear everyone as they enter and the heating system clanked the whole time so not that relaxing; have gotten better massages elsewhere. would not return.

Thought I’d give it a try, ignoring the bad reviews and having hope. Just don’t go. When I went, the guy doing my feet was sick and get wiping his nose when he thought I wasn’t looking and went back to touching my feet. He also coughed on my feet. I feel bad he is sick, but that was really gross.

I bought 4 groupons, two for massage and two for foot reflexology, which I haven’t used yet. I went there with my boyfriend for labor day weekend. We had a massage and it was ok, the place was quite and pleasant. They put us in one room together(with 2 beds), the masseuses where dressed with normal clothes and not uniform. Their job was ok, they used hot stones and that felt very good. I also noticed that they switch between my boyfriend and I and they whisper while doing the massage. My problem started a day after I got the massage. I’ve noticed that day that when she massaged a few point on my low back, it hurts and after that day I have a discomfort on my hip ever since. I still have the groupons for the foot reflexology but I’m afraid that if I go, they won’t do a good job. When you get a reflexology you have to be careful where to go. If the person touch certain points in your feet or their mood is not good, they can all transmit that and harm your health in some way. So overall our experience was ok, but I’m not sure I would go back there.

I bought a groupon deal and really wish I had just let it expire. I get massages pretty frequently and this was definitely the worst one I have ever received. I left in pain rather than feeling relaxed. I suggest staying far away no matter what the price.

I came on a Monday at 12 in the afternoon with my friend for an hour foot massage at $ 30 per person. I called the previous day to make an appointment, but I don’t think it was really needed. Better safe than sorry though! When we got there, there was no other customers besides us so we had the whole room to ourselves(the room with all the big, leather chairs for reflexology). My friend and I really enjoyed our foot massages! While soaking our feet in the bucket of hot water, the guys were giving us a neck, shoulder, and back massage; not wasting ANY time! I really enjoyed it! After the soaking, you go back to the big, leather chair and that’s when the magic begins! I don’t know who I got, but he was lanky with glasses. GREAT pressure on my feet and it did not hurt! :) My friend loved her foot massage also, so I assume it doesn’t matter who you get because they’re all pretty good at what they do. There isn’t much privacy, but the room is very big and you share it with anyone else that walks in for a foot massage. The lights are dimmed almost all the way and there is no music(I did hear something from a distance, but I think it was for the table massage rooms). I suggest listening to your own music during the hour. I didn’t get a full body massage, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it and would def come back for another foot massage!

The foot massage was really good and everyone was very friendly. Very reasonable price for the service received. The reason for 3 stars is simply because of the lack of privacy and quiet. When guests are sitting in the waiting room having conversations with each other or on the phone, it’s very distracting. The foot reflexology room didn’t have a door, but had a curtain to close it off instead which I believe is the reason why so much noise came through.

The people were nice, however the massage left me in more pain than I came in. I got a one hour body massage and had some issues on my shoulder neck area. I walked out feeling worse than I came in.
