The best Barbed I have ever been to and I have been to a lot in many countries. Dimitri is a true master and his attention to detail is second to none!

Found this place on Unilocal.What a find!!! My new barber, for sure. Service was great, bear and haircut were on point. And I got a neck massage and was offered a shot of alcohol. Definitely coming back.

I have never left a review on Unilocal,but I used Unilocal to find this shop, and this place deserves it. About a week ago I payed for a cut from another local Barber shop that I could not get behind — I hated it. I read some of the reviews for Royal Class Barber Shop and thought I’d see if they could fix it. The whole experience was better than I could have hoped for. I walked right in without an appointment, explained my situation and I immediately could tell I was in good hands. Dmitri (I’m not sure of the spelling) gave me one of the best cuts I’ve ever had and made me feel like a regular right away. The value is incredible for NYC, and everyone was so friendly. I’m already looking forward to the next time I need a cut!

Great experience. Demetrie gave me the royal class treatment! Amazing cut, maybe the best I’ve ever had. The razor shave, hot towel and massage were totally unexpected. And great conversation too. Walked out feeling like a new man! Highly recommend (although I am hopeful these guys don’t get too popular).

Unprofessional. Asked the guy to make my hair a BIT shorter. He left 1−2mm at the sides and at the back.
When I came home, I realized that he made one side slightly longer the the other.
Now I need to go to another place to fix that. Loss of time, money, and good mood.

A friend recommended this place. The guys are super friendly and I got a great haircut and shave. I had several compliments on the first cut I got and my wife keeps telling me it’s the best haircut she has seen me with, so I have continued to go back. Definitely recommend it. Also very good value for the area.

I normally don’t leave comments on Unilocal (good or bad)…seriously I think this may be my first, but I’ve got to give it up to this Alex and the shop he runs. Met him once. Just walked in after work the other week and he saw me immediately – I’ve had issues in the past with other barbers (not getting cuts right, being flat out rude, too expensive, etc.) but I was upfront with him as he was with me. I was in and out in 20 minutes and it was a solid haircut for under $ 30 bucks… if you want the Fleishman’s, Trufit and Hill, John Allan’s go right ahead but you’ll pay $ 100+ and have to be back in a few weeks time.
If you’re in the lower price range and are hoping to find a good guy who’s trying to grow his customer base I’d say skip out on the others and give this guy a shot.

These guys are amazing. My barber did a ¹⁰⁄₁₀ job, he understood exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. One of the finest jobs for a completely unexpensive price. I will totally go back for my next haircut!

Always professional, always direct and to-​the-​point, always quick and clean, you can’t find a better basic men’s cut in Manhattan for the price! Anytime I have an audition, I go here for a clean-​up. They even offer candy and/​or a shot of liquor while you wait. Who does that?! I highly recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a great Manhattan barbershop.

The Royal Class Barber shop is a great place for a professional haircut and shave, been here twice and the service is friendly and courteous. Alex is an excellent barber and will provide top notch barber skills.

Once you come to Royal Class you’re not going to go anywhere else. They guys are great, the cut is always on point and the massage to close out the cut really makes your day. Fully recommend these guys and will be telling all my friends too.
3 months later and it’s only gotten better!

Getting a cut a new shop is always nerve-​wracking.
But all the reviews suggest that the cuts here are great which eased things up for me!
It wasn’t busy when I came in and I was seated immediately. At first look, the place is small but not cramped. The space is clean and music is good.
My Barber, Manny, was great. It’s always good to have a conversation with your barber, it definitely makes the time go by faster, granted I was only there for 20 minutes tops. They also finish off the experience with a hot towel over your head, and a quick shoulder massage. Very much appreciated: D
The cut he gave me was awesome, exactly what I asked for. Every time my hair grows out, a little stub of my hair pops out and it looks like he’s fixed that issue.
Unfortunately, an hour later, I realized that it wasn’t a cut I was truly satisfied with (this was my fault), so I called back in to ask if I could get it redone and he allowed it, no questions asked. When I came back in, Manny worked out the cut I actually wanted, and BAM, I walked out there lookin’ fuhreshhh (or at least I that’s what I thought).
Anyway, great haircut at a decent price ($ 22, $ 24 if paying with card).

Fast and friendly service. Alex cut my hair and did a great job! I feel like a million bucks and look like it too! The short massage was a great touch. I’ll be coming here on a regular basis since it’s so close to the office.

Stopped by on my way to Café Grumpy (right down the block), spontaneously. Just wanted my part to be shaved — like a line for the part. That was $ 10, and a haircut was $ 20, so I went for the full monte. He shaved my part with a straight razor! shaved the sides, clipped the top, gave me a quick shoulder massage, and I was out if there in 12 minutes flat.
Really great experience. Highly recommended.
