After reading all the negative reviews I was hestiant to use them but with my trip coming shortly and my wife yelling at me for not checking my passport sooner, i started the process. Half way through it, I realized I can eliminate the risk because I had the luxury of going to the NYC Passport office, which I did and only took a few hours. The whole cab ride home I was worried that I was going to have to be in all out fight with a customer service agent to get my money back because I was cancelling even though I was within the 72 hour policy period. To my amazement the experience was quite the opposite, I called and was tranferred to accounting department who emailed me a link to refund request page, I filled out a form and fingers crossed my money should be returned shortly. Process couldnt be any easier, I highly recommend them

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! They will ruin your trip! I had an issue and not only did they not let me know, but when I finally called to check on the status, they were rude and indifferent. DO NOT USE THEM!

Picture this: You make a reservation days before your trip. You arrive to pick up your car. The indifferent customer rep tells you that this company routinely «runs out of cars» by 11 am and then blames you for not calling to make sure the car is reserved. What? Your company’s sole purpose is to have cars for customers when they arrive. That’s it.

it’s not cheap but I just realized last wednesday that I needed a new passport since mine expires in less than 6 months and I’m about to travel overseas and they got me a new one back in the mail the following tuesday. So total turnaround in less than a week. They did exactly what they said they were going to do so they get 5 stars for service

We were flying to Costa Rica on Friday morning and realized my husbands passport was expired on Monday night at 10:00pm. It was expensive… but we sent everything out the next morning (Tuesday) and received it back by Thursday afternoon. Phew! Just in time. I can’t say I wasn’t stressed out the entire time… but
came through and we had a great trip!

The passport renewal service was smooth enough, but we had some hurdles when getting a brand new passport. However, this company showed integrity by following up and refunding something that was an error on their part. I appreciate that.

I signed up for this service but then did not use it and they gave me a full refund and I thought that was really decent of them! 5 stars!

They suck!!! I should even give them 1 star. I needed a passport for my 5 year old daughter and put a 3 business day turnaround option since I was supposed to leave in 5 days. The lack of checking on their behalf placed my rush order into the take your time plié for the State Department. I spent $ 318 worth of aggravation and still no passport. I had to cancel my trip and lost out on $ 643 worth of deposits not to mention the $ 25 sealing fee from the post office. Don’t use these people if you really are in a rush. The kicker to the entire situation was Sharrons comment to me «things happen you know». Well what comes around goes around. Karma is gonna catch up with them since the universe has a way of rectifying everything. You suck rush my passport!!!

This is an UPDATE to my original review (which in which I rated the business a 1 star — see below). Within an hour or two of this posting, I received a call from the company’s director of operations, Russ V.
To be very honest, this was surprising; apparently I was not as anonymous as I thought I was, since he was able to cross-​reference and determine which client I was. Still, I am extremely grateful for the care and attention, which was all I had been trying to get from the people who handled my visa almost three months ago. By the end of today, Russ had addressed and resolved the situation – beyond even what I had expected.
This level of concern and care from the nerve center matters, so I have upgraded my review to a fair 3 stars very much because of Russ’s attention and commitment to resolve this. It is only regrettable the frontline people handling my order had not escalated it to someone else sooner.
I can’t say with certainty whether I would use the service in future, but I would not dismiss them out of hand. The advice I would give to future clients is 1) default to whatever the consulate says, not the service as everyone is fallible; and 2) pay with credit card. Their automated system is actually quite good at keeping one notified. It’s when issues arise of the automated process that problems can occur.

Although I received my visa in time, it was barely in time in spite of the month I allowed for the visa process. (This write up, by the way, is backed up with an email thread.) However, the service screwed up on ONE MAJOR THING, and has yet to acknowledge or address this, and in fact, has completely ignored my emails and multiple attempts to get this resolved.
Over the phone, they assured me I could send a cashiers check for $ 160 for my visa. I asked, are you sure? The consulate only mentioned credit card or postal money order. No, a cashier’s check is fine. This is where I was the idiot, and should have just put this on my credit card. But, as I was running errands, I thought I would send in a cashiers check. Five days after the service acknowledged receipt of my documents, they emailed that the consulate had rejected the check after all. (Surprise!) I then paid via credit card, and asked that the check be sent back to me. They assured me they would send it with the completed visa and my passport.
Over a month later, get an email notification that the visa is ready, shipping details and a tracking number. I received my passport at my office (UPS required a signature upon delivery). Since I was traveling for business at the time, my EA took care of this, and had it ready for me when I returned. (By this time, of course, I had forgotten about the check.) Almost a month later, after the trip requiring this particular visa, I remembered the check – and was concerned it had been thrown out with the envelope. The service explained that they had actually forgotten to include the check in the passport package but sent it – for arrival on a US holiday when the office is closed AND without requiring a signature. This was done with no email explanation and no tracking number shared, so the delivery was unexpected. No one in our office saw this package, which was left outside our office (since it was closed).
I have since made several attempts for the service to 1) Take responsibility and 2) offer some remuneration. Their false information from the start, and their carelessness handling a check caused me to lose out on $ 160. I’ll taken even half or quarter of what I lost, since I was so idiotic as to trust these clowns! At the very least, an apology and acknowledgment of their irresponsibility in this. But absolutely NOTHING. They blame UPS instead. This is the kind of business one DOES NOT do business with.

I was recommended by their online live chat helper to order their priority service to get my new passport since I was scheduled to travel to Peru in about 2 weeks. They said the process would be easy and I can get my passport in 3 – 4 business days. Super expensive but they said it’s easier than applying through the post office. Sounds good right? At the STEEP price of nearly $ 300 service fee in addition to regular passport fees of $ 195.
Like Kathy said, THEY ASK YOU TO PAY BEFORE THEY TELL YOU ALL THE STUFF YOU NEED TO PROVIDE TO THEM.
They told me to call them back once I had their checklist of documents to get my overnight shipping label, and when I called them back in a day with my documents they told me since my flight was in more than 2 weeks, I need to make a «fake itinerary» online showing intent to travel within 2 weeks. They also told me my photo needed to be taken in the last 3 months, even though it clearly stated in the checklist it could be in the last 6 months. Refused to give me the shipping label or any information about next steps until I made the extra itinerary.
Made my revised itinerary, called them the next day only to find that their hours were significantly limited during holidays and I won’t be able to get service through Christmas.
Called back today, only to discover now I don’t need the fake itinerary, but proof of travel required a round trip flight, not just a one way flight. Shut me out, refused to tell me about steps required to ship the materials until I bought a return plane ticket.
Here’s the real kicker:
I called back, only to discover that instead of being able to directly mail them the package, I STILL NEEDED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT THE POST OFFICE’S PASSPORT SERVICE! This is the whole problem I was trying to avoid in the first place since it usually takes weeks to get an appointment with the post office. I expressed frustration that it wasn’t made clear I needed to book an appointment, especially since it’s so late in the afternoon by now and many of the passport services close by 2 pm.
I asked for the shipping label in case I was able to find a place that accepts walk-​ins, yet they refused to proceed any further until I had an confirmed appointment date. I feel like they didn’t try to help me on hearing my situation, instead they used my concerns as a reason to further delay the whole process. I had to call them back, get another rep on the phone, and not mention any questions about making appointments at the post office in order to get a shipping label.
I asked if it was possible to get a refund and the case agent responded they didn’t know anything and was also unwilling to transfer me to the refund office.
This is terrible customer service when you misrepresent the steps involved with your process to customers, refuse to help them figure out next steps and instead delay the process if they have any concerns, and don’t tell them to make time-​sensitive appointments until it’s too late.

BEWARE! You will need to provide a huge list of documents to them before they can help you so they misrepresent how fast all of it happens.
Worst part is that you PAY BEFORE THEY TELL YOU ALL THE STUFF YOU NEED TO PROVIDE TO THEM. they say «3 easy steps» when there are really 4 — and that 4^th is where you have to print, complete, gather, and send all the documents to them first before they can «rush» your order. You can do the same thing at the post office and cut out the middleman.
Contacting them was not happening either — lots of voicemail. What a rip-​off.

Best, hands down, look no further! They made this as easy as it gets! We will certainly use them again when we need them. James Rossier was so helpful and kept us up to date every step of the way!

The process seems easy until you need someone’s help. The tracking number they provided did not show shipping information. I contacted them via chat several times. UPS cannot find my order at their facility. I contacted customer service again, and was promised that someone in solutions would be calling me back.
I contacted customer service hours later when I had not heard from this person. I stated that I need an update, which the chat person said «you’ll get your passport no later than tuesday and customer solutions will email you with the information you’re looking for»
I have not heard back from them, and am not sure I will have my passport prior to my upcoming international travel.
One star because I couldn’t give them zero for customer service.

I used this service to expedite my passport. I travel so often, it’s hard to find 8 weeks that I can give up my passport to the post office for traditional renewal.
The process was fairly easy, and customer service was pretty good.
The only thing that puzzled me was the fact the my passport was processed 4 days before they actually decided to ship it back to me. It was within the timeframe I paid for, but not sure why they held in to it.
All in all, I would recommend this service.

Now that I am moving this month, I thought back on this place and how they «saved» me back last December. I had booked a tropical surf camp along with the flight only to discover my passport had expired. I tried calling the New York Passport Agency, but their reservations were booked up and I recall being massively stressed out and turning to this place instead (they pre-​reserve spots across passport agencies across the country enabling them to get you your passport in as little as 24 hours, if necessary).
I had ten days or so I recall and I went with their priority service, the 3 – 4 day option, and it basically was one day of me gathering and overnighting my paperwork and two photos and old passport to DC, them processing it there for three days and then one day of them overnighting my new passport to me from DC. So it probably took about 5 business days total including the overnighting but I got my passport in time with a couple days to spare and I was relieved. It is a bit costly, but they delivered on time, you get a rep assigned to you who will let you know each step of the way where you are in the process (like confirm your paperwork is correct, that it is at the agency on someone’s desk, or that it is on its way to you).
I’d been nervous about using one of these services but they delivered for which I am grateful, but I do think they charge a bit too much. And they should better explain about the overnighting taking extra time up-​front because I think some people get really down to the wire. Not sure how they handle real emergency situations because they do ask for your travel information and itinerary and travel date and they knew I had some cushion.
I would really advise you just renew your passport on schedule (the standard way will take you 4 – 6 weeks and you will just have to pay government fees and not the expedited fees as an add-​on), but if you are like me (this kind of thing has happened to me twice now and last time I was at an SF agency in-​person having to fly out the next day), then I would recommend this place to turn to in an emergency.

These guys SAVED my vacation. We made last minute plans to go overseas and needed renewal passports for 2 children and a new passport for our third child. Their info check list was very comprehensive which was important since children have different requirements. We had missing birth certificates so it suddenly became a REAL rush. James Rosier kept me relaxed and comfortable that it would get to us on time. I got emails and calls all along the way. Every thing was as promised. What could have been a bad experience was actually a very good experience!

When finding a last minute deal to the Caribbean and finding that your passport is expired can be a real bummer. In a panic, I googled ‘rush passport’ and found this website. I was scared because of the mixed reviews but went for it anyway. I am happy to say I am pleased with the results. I placed my order on 1÷15÷13 for a 2÷7÷13 trip and the very next day a very nice agent, Mr. Teddy Etienne contacted me. Mr. Etienne assured me that as long as I had a clean record that there would be no problem with my passport. I followed the instruction and mailed all of the required documents on 1÷16÷13. I am happy to say that I received my passport today with a week to spare! My passport actually got to NY a few days ago but had some challenges being available for the FedEx arrival, which has nothing to do with this service. Mr. Etienne and Rush My Passport kept me informed the entire time through phone calls and emails. They never made me feel panicked and were always nice and professional.
Addendum: I did not go to this Manhattan location but handled all my business on their website.

Terrible. You think that when you spend $ 200 on a service that you would get at least decent customer service – especially when the agency is an «emergency» related service and promises you quick, reliable results.
The representative they assigned to me (after they took my money) did not call me back in 3 days. After being on hold for 20 minutes trying to speak with another customer service representative, I hung up hoping that Live Chat would be better.
The live chat representative asked me what the problem was then told me to hold on because they’re «super busy on Mondays» which I completely understood. Then, after some period of time without hearing back from the rep, the window «timed out» because of user inactivity.
I started another chat, letting her know what happened, only to be told that the rep I had called to complain about in the first place for being unresponsive would call me back «soon».
Save your money. Go through the normal process if you can wait a full 2 weeks to get your passport.
This was horrible, horrible service.

10 stars, I would. They saved my life (quite figuratively)! I am scheduled to travel out of the country in about a week and last week I discovered that my passport was misplaced. I freaked the F out. After many tears and calls to hotels and the airline inquiring about cancellation policies, I found
on line. I will admit, I was a bit nervous about using a random 3^rd party passport service to handle such an important task. I was worried about sending them all of my information including an older expired passport as well as the reliability of the service. I called my case manager, RJ, several times seeking reassurance that I would definitely receive my passport within 3 – 4 business days (they also have quicker service times, but you need to be traveling within 10 days or something to use those services). Each time, he was courteous (even though I probably drove him nuts) and assured me that as long as I didn’t owe child support (check) and wasn’t on a no fly list (check again), I would be good to go. I submitted my application to
on Sept 13^th and received my new passport on Sept 20^th! Yay! Also, each step of the way,
emailed me to tell me what step of the process had been completed and also delivered an automated call explaining what step of the process they had done. Very reliable and very professional!
