Scott O Kissel, DMD, PC

Dr. Scott Kissel is a consummate physician. Over my last 45 years of dental issues, and meeting with many specialists (due to early childhood conditions), I was fortunately referred to Dr. Kissel by my best all-​time generalist dentist.
Dr. Kissel has executed amazing salvation on my gums — excavating the disaster of an exploded root canal; grafts; treatment for lichen planus; and conservative recommendations. Consider that his microsurgery is cutting edge, as are his techniques — I am convinced by the success in my progress but what is equally if not more important is that he is cited in cutting edge texts in dentistry and that means a lot to a scientist (like me).
So let’s digress! The staff. Excellent, led by Martina who is savvy, smart and sensitive. Kemba! Carly! They all listen, help, and are responsive. This is not an implant «factory» the likes of which passes for care these days. This is specialized, personalized healthcare — so speak up before procedures and ask for the handouts to prepare.
So, after 45 years of substantial issues, I state without equivocation that Dr. Kissel is the best periodontist I have experienced. Having experienced all kinds of staff, he is also discerning in a developed and sophisticated approach — you can’t be a great periodontist without a smart and supportive staff.
So, I think… where will I retire? …can I afford, in many ways, to lose this kind of healthcare and support… Dr. Kissel is one of my major considerations.
Honestly…

Dr. kissel is the best! He is the ultimate in professionalism and microscopic surgery. I’ve been through quite a process to improve my smile including braces and and implant. I have to say… working with Dr K was the least painful or stressful of all my dental work. He’s thoughtful and considerate! Even his staff is A+ (Hi Martina!!)

Dr. Kissel is an amazing periodontist. I had a gum surgery treatment done a few times in the same area. He was able to do an outstanding procedure on for me.
I was shocked how well I healed and that the gum graft was healed. I was able to smile with confidence again.
I would recommend anyone that needs to see a periodontist, make Dr. Kissel’s office your first and only stop.
