Sethi and Mazaheri LLC

Loved working with Sethi and Mazaheri!!! They were always punctual and professional. Reza Mazaheri is the coolest lawyer I know… He’s young, laid back and understands the needs of his clients. I was skeptical in the beginning thinking that my lawyer would be «my grandfather’s lawyer»… i.e. old, bad suit, talks too much, know it all… but my experience was completely different. Although Mr. Mazaheri was great… their paralegal Roselyn Gonzalez was fantastic to work with. She was on top of everything and made our green card so simple and smooth! I’d highly recommend them for Immigration services!

Mr. Mazaheri was my husband’s attorney on a very difficult deportation case. He was knowledgable, professional, and provided my family with support during a very difficult time. We had several previous attorneys but you cannot compare them to Reza. Thanks to him, my husband was granted withholding of removal and is in the United States. We really cannot thank him enough.
Also, the entire office (Reza, Sanjay, Josie) has been very helpful in handling my father-in-law’s application for a green card and citizenship. My father-​in-​law has already gone for fingerprints and is expecting to receive his citizenship. At this point, my family contacts this office for any legal need we have because of the trust we have for this firm.

Mr Mazaheri handled by green card application this year and since this was my first real life lawyer experience, (Ally McBeal and Alicia Florrick don’t really count) I didn’t know what to expect. The people at Sethi & Mazaheri are efficient, friendly, warm and non-​intimidating. Between Mr Mazaheri and the paralegal Roselyn, no questions went unanswered. They don’t make false promises and tell it as it is. While waiting for my interview call, I was impatient and called them almost every week but they didn’t lose patience even once :)
PS: The view from their office don’t hurt either. One of their conference rooms looks right down at Lady Liberty. A nice distraction from all the hectic law talk.

I needed a law firm to file my wife’s immigration application for her parents. After speaking with a couple of other lawyers, we met with Mr. Mazaheri at his office in New York. We were both impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Mr. Mazaheri and his staff. After the meeting we decided to hire his firm to do the application and I’m really glad we did.
During the process, the staff provided my wife and I with comprehensive lists of all the documentation that we needed for the petition and they stayed on top of us to make sure that we got everything to their office on time. Everything ran perfectly and my wife’s petition was approved smoothly and on time.
I have used immigration services before but what made Mr. Mazaheri stand out was his attention to detail and how easy it was to reach him. Normally lawyers are hard to reach but it seemed like he always got back to me the same day, which I really appreciated. More importantly, we were never stressed about the process because each time we talked to him he was able to quickly ease our concerns. If someone needs a great immigration lawyer, hire this firm!

I hired Sethi & Mazaheri last year to handle a waiver case for my uncle who was living abroad. I had a lot of concerns in the case due to the fact that the U.S. denied his entry previously. Several lawyers we met with previously even told us that we may not be able to overcome his inadmissibility.
At our first meeting, we met with Reza. He was honest with my family about the challenges in the case, but he also gave us a clear strategy on what we needed to do to win my uncle’s waiver case. We ended up hiring his firm to do our uncle’s waiver. Reza and his staff worked closely with our family in gathering evidence to support my uncle’s case. We have a big family that had a lot of questions throughout the process and Reza always made himself available to us. Not only was he diligent, but we really felt like he cared about the case.
Last week, we found out the great news that my uncle’s waiver was granted and he was permitted entry into the country! I can’t tell you how happy our family is and how glad we are that we did not listen to the other lawyers who said it would be too hard. I highly recommend Reza’s firm to anyone seeking an outstanding immigration lawyer.

Sanjay is a great lawyer. I hired him to handle a couple of charges that I received and he did a great job. I never received any convictions thanks to him. He is well connected with the Bergen county court system and seemed to have a good relationship with the prosecutor and even the judge. I highly recommend him for anyone who is facing the legal system. He is an awesome lawyer to have on your side.
