I knew of Shine Trim from their online store, but stopped in the last time I was in NYC. They have a great selection of trims. It’s not a 1-​stop shop for anything you might need, but what they do carry (mostly embellishments as opposed to loose jewels) is beautiful. I put some things on hold, but wasn’t able to get back to the shop before I left the city later that day. I called the next day, (my items weren’t available on the website) and they were as nice and helpful as could be. They still had my items on hold, and took my information over the phone to ship them to me. Additionally, I’d had some things on hold in the store downstairs, Top Trimmings, and Helen offered to ship them in the same package to save me extra shipping costs. I didn’t end up purchasing anything at Top Trimmings, but I so appreciated the offer!

I stumbled upon Shine Trim when relentlessly searching for French netting today that was at least 12″ in width and they had a lot of different colors and qualities. The woman there was extremely helpful made my experience very painless.
I’ve been searching for this particular kind of netting to make my own birdcage wedding veil and almost gave up until alas, I found Shine Trim on the 2nd floor of Top Trimming. They also have an amazing selection of shine appliques and trimmings. I could literally spend hours in there digging through all the pretty, shiny things! I highly recommend this place for all your trimming needs!

Great family run store selling those little embellishments like rhinestones, trimmings, appliques, sequins, etc to accessorize your outfits, crafts etc. Its impossible to get out of this store empty handed even if you don’t really need anything. Their prices are reasonable and the people working there are super friendly.
Its my go to store for all the crafty needs. I have even ordered from their website
and ordering has been a breeze and delivery is always prompt.
Its a gem of a store selling gem like products.:-)

Tucked away on the 2nd floor of another trim shop, Shine Trim specializes in rhinestone, sparkly, and bridal trims.
I was sent here by B&Q trims on 38th, who also own this shop. This is the only place I’ve found the mini-​buckram pads I was looking for to make a headpiece with. They’ve got a ton of bridal trims — tiaras and hair pins ready made, as well as laces, sequin appliques, and veiling to make your own.
