I went in for an organic facial and deep tissue massage. The staff was extremely proffessional, friendly and courteous. This location is cozy, clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back.

I enjoyed a 60 minute Swedish massage at SKN spa. Steve was a terrific masseuse who applied good pressure and worked on the knots in my shoulders and neck. The spa was a relaxing space, clean and comfortable with candles. after the massage, I was served water, biscuit cookies and a piece of chocolate in a beautiful lounge area outside the treatment rooms.

It was a wonderful experience. I got a SKN deep skin massage as a gift from my daughters on Mother’s Day. When I went to retrieve it, I had a pain in my lower back, and the massage really helped. Kerri, my therapist, was wonderful — she really did her best to make me feel better.
The atmosphere, the service and the courtesy of SKN’s professionals are remarkable. An unforgettable visit. I highly recommend it!

Kerri was excellent, my skin has never looked better! She was very nice, professional and efficient. She spa was modern, clean and very relaxing! I will definitely be back soon!

As I said before, make sure you aren’t forced into buying products you don’t want. They really push you into buying a series and make it awkward and uncomfortable. For every reason I gave not to buy the eye patches, she gave me a reason I should still buy them even with the caffeine. The person at the counter didn’t do the facial, she was a hardcore saleswoman and she won. I live too far to buy products and come back to the city just to return them. Shame on me for wasting my money.

I checked a week prior to the date I promised my girl that I would give her a spa day for her birthday. I checked online and they had openings in the morning, but I wanted to use a groupon (online wouldnt accept them). I called and they said their phone system was down. I left them my name and number and tried setting up an appointment the next day. They then told me they were all booked for the day I wanted and were very rude to me on the phone.

Such a nice clean professional place. Yo Yo was very nice girl do excellent job. Got great package deal can’t wait to go back and comfort again.

One of the prettiest locations! I love coming to a clean and refreshing place. The service is amazing and so is the people that works there. I didn’t know what facial to do because my skin is sensitive and very dry all the time and they reccommend were so nice to suggest me a more hydrating facial and It feels so nice on my face without irritating it. I have been here two times and had wonderful experiences both times. Each time I had a facial with Yuki and she was just great. It was very comprehensive and my face felt so smooth to the touch afterwards. She offered me tea as well which I thought was very sweet. I will be back again. I would recommend this place to anyone. The décor inside is really nice, too.

I discovered SKN Spa through a Groupon for their organic facial. I had Yuki for my facial and she was very thorough when removing my blackheads/​whiteheads. I enjoyed it so much that I bought facial, collagen eye mask, and massage packages. The atmosphere of the spa is elegant and peaceful. They have a cute little outdoor garden/​waiting area. They have the amazing HEATED Japanese toilet! Overall, it was a good facial, the employees were nice, and the spa itself was cute. Highly recommend!

Ok I am officially an addict. Booked a Groupon facial last min and just went with whomever was open. The whole experience was great. Nice, clean, trendy Hells Kitchen spa. Friendly staff, great facial by Jenny. 75 minutes I nearly died and went to heaven (and to sleep). They are detail oriented, from Jenny’s careful help removing my necklace and latching it cautiously around my wrist to the tea and Andys Mint Chocolate brought to me (on a tray) at the end of the service. Lovely. My skin is glowing, my spirits lifted, and my bank account depleted $ 500 after buying a 5 pack of facials for the future … But hey, you get what u pay for. And I like the best.

After publishing this negative Unilocal review, SKN Spa reached out to ask details on my unsatisfactory experience. The details were discussed with my masseuse and the spa manager. They offered me a 30 min massage on the house. The person I worked with on this issue was friendly and thorough. They reached out to me in a timely fashion and returned to me with a resolution almost immediately.

After seeing great reviews of this place, I decided to purchase a Groupon for a one hour massage. I asked for the front of my legs to be worked on since I was really tight and sore from the gym. Once I rolled over, she started scratching my head as if it were itchy. It was NOT a pleasant experience and she kept pulling my hair. Usually the head massage is my favorite part! Then she rubbed my shoulders briefly and then said, «done.»
I have never walked out of a massage that was incomplete especially after specifically requesting one area to be massaged. I was very disappointing and will not return.

many people already aware about this place, I have to say how sneaky promotion they are doing. They are accept a voucher just for the first time then they always say oh it’s same promotion no matter what type and what period are. I purchased different vouchers about 9 months apart they said it’s same promotion again but that condition of service on the voucher is not available then ask more money to use my voucher. In this kind of way of business, it’s not pleasure at all

I bought a Groupon for a deep tissue massage at SKN Spa and am glad that I did. The masseuse, Jesse, was terrific. I entered a tense bundle of nerves, and left feeling like silly putty.
The space is small, but modern and clean. There’s a waiting room in the front and a lounge in the back where you can relax when your treatment is finished. There’s also a small outdoor patio.
I live in the vicinity and will definitely return, but I think it’s worth a trip even if you don’t live in the neighborhood.

I’m really happy with the service I received here. I was looking at a list well reviewed spas on Unilocal,and this one caught my eye. They happened to have a good deal for a 75-​minute organic facial on Groupon, so I decided to purchase the voucher.
Best decision I made so far this year. Jen was very helpful talking me through the steps and about the products she was using. She gave me great tips to improve my at home regimen, and as a result I bought a package as well as some of products she recommended and/​or used during my facial.
It’s a bit out of the way on 10^th ave, but in the end I thought it was worth it. The spa was very clean, well decorated. They even offer you refreshments before and after your appointment.
I Can’t wait to return for my next facial.

Highly recommend getting facials at SKN Spa. I’ve had both Yuki and Kerry before and enjoyed both of their services. Yuki is more harsh on the skin (in a good way) but spends a lot of time on extractions which I appreciate when I want some deep cleansing. Kerry on the other hand is more gentle so it’s a more relaxing experience. Highly recommend both of them!
The first time I was there, Yuki skipped the massage part of the facial so that she could focus on cleansing my face and spending more time on extractions. Then, I had an oxydermy treatment with Kerry and she was really attentive and even tried the Eve Lom facial cleanser on my face to let me see how great it would be for my skin.
After going for 3 facials, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my skin condition and am so thankful for the place!

My SKN Spa experience was positive. Massage for me it’s what I love very much so I hoped to get something special there and frankly I got it. It was so relaxing that I went out and almost saw sweet dreams, I couldn ‘t think about anything, wanted to repeat my session only.
It’s a good place+receptionist very friendly.

My go-​to spot for all things facial related. I started coming here in 2012 when Sophia was still around. Once she left, I started to see Yuki for my facials (she’s great but I think she went on maternity leave for a bit) so I began making appointments with Fairy and Jenny too. Yuki is extremely thorough and makes great conversation. Jenny is on point with my skin needs and I like that she lets me rest/​nap/​sleep during my treatment.
For my skin, it was recommended that I do the Oxydermy facial and I love it! I like to switch it up every month though depending on the season. Even though I had booked another facial, sometimes I just ask my facialist to decide which treatment she thought was best for me, given my current skin situation– I’ve tried their basic, acne clarifying, organic, and hyperbaric oxygen. Honestly, if you’re going to go for the hyperbaric oxygen, you might as well shell out the extra $ 20 for the Oxydermy. Its a world of a difference. And it actually comes out to less with a package deal. Communication is good — I find that it all gets adjusted by the time I’m ready to checkout.
*If you feel like you need to get your eyebrows shaped, don’t forget to ask. It’s included, but optional. For the most part they ask you if you want them shaped, but in case they forget, it doesn’t hurt to remind them.
*You can tip on your card, but cash preferred, of course!
Water is offered before and after treatment. Receptionist is cordial and always understanding when I’m running late.
— 1 star because: I don’t remember seeing any lockers/​showers. I’ve always gone into the treatment room and put all my belongings in the top cabinet. The lack of showers is probably why I don’t sign up for any of their massages cuz I prefer to wash off the massage oils before putting my clothes back on.

I purchased a 60 mins aromatherapy massage on giltcity, what a steal! The receptionist was super sweet and informative. She really tried to make me feel very comfortable. I arrived here about an hour earlier because I had some time to kill. So why not just chillax at this spa. One thing to point out, there’s only an indoor and semi outdoor waiting area to relax. There’s no pool, sauna, or steamroom. Of course, I knew that based on Unilocal reviews. Super clean, cute and zen. All that’s missing is a waterfall.
I filled out the form to let them know what target areas to concentrate on. An hour later, my therapist, YoYo, escorted me into my private room with a heated bed. If you like it strong and semi hard, then I really recommend YoYo. She targeted all my requested areas (shoulders and lower back) and I was in heaven. I would say about 50% off her time. Much appreciated for getting most of my knots out. Don’t be alarmed if she gets on top of your legs to stretch out your back and neck!
So towards the end (last 5 mins) of the massage, she started telling me about the package promotion. I get it, you need to promote. But as she was telling me, I felt all her efforts diminished on my head massage and it was «meh whatevers». Maybe she was too focused on telling me what they can offer. By that time, I snapped back to reality and that was the end of my session. I wouldn’t have minded so much if she continued the level of effort until the end. Now, she didn’t push me too hard to buy which I appreciated. She was courteous, polite and professional.
Overall, I would definitely come back (only with another gilt voucher).
