Last time for this place! A large gourmet chicken noodle was $ 7.50 and with tax and a delivery charge cost me almost $ 10! The large size just barely filled a normal sized soup bowl! I wouldn’t have minded the price if the soup was good, but it tasted fatty and salty without flavor. It had plenty of noodles but no vegetables to speak of and minimal amounts of chicken. There used to be bread and butter with the soup, but now only saltine crackers! Then the order came cold and a full 45 minutes later than they said it would arrive. Canned soup would have been better!

How is it possible that I just spent $ 30 including tax and tip and all I got was a small salad and the smallest order of buffalo wings I’d ever seen? They couldn’t be chicken – perhaps pigeon. Midget pigeons. What a joke! $ 30 later and I’m still hungry. Insult! How is this place still open? Order salads from Parisian Deli instead for a third the price and 2x as much food.

Savory and satisfying paninis. We had the Annoula with generous chunks of mozzarella, pesto and sundried tomatoes. Plenty of umami in that sandwich. We also had the chicken noodle soup which tasted much more soothing than canned noodle soup. Less overwhelmingly salty and more flavorful. A great place to stop especially in this neighborhood if you don’t want to break the bank.

Ordered food here tonight. Small portion. Not sure to even call the ¼ a quesadilla we received a «portion». Sigh. It was beyond distasteful. So disappointed.

The food here is simply not good. The panini tasted freezer burned and was hot in some spots and cold in others. Their homemade chips are bland. Their drinks are overpriced and there’s not an option for anything that’s not sickeningly sweet. The owner seem to rest solely on the laurels of the location. Completely disappointing.

Good food. Great salads. Good prices and portions. Try the kale salad. It is particularly good.

Very disappointing. A panini that wasn’t cooked properly and didn’t taste good. Overdressed salad. Soup was okay, not great. Was hoping for more. I prefer local businesses, but I’d go to the Hale and Hearty chain any day over this place.

Incompetent and rude service. Its one thing if you are incompetent, another if you add rudeness to it. I specifically asked for noodles in the«Chicken Noodle Soup» but got home and there were none. The soup was also very greasy and did nothing for my cold. Next time I’ll go to Barney Greengrass, which is cheaper and much better quality.

Let me start by saying I have ordered from this restaurant over 20 times in the past year. I will NEVER order from them again. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I received an order yesterday afternoon and when I opened the bag to take out my salad an enormous brown roach fell out of the bag. I was absolutely disgusted. It’s legs were still moving. I quickly snapped a picture and then through my entire order in the trash. I called the restaurant and the man who picked up the phone immediately offered me a full refund and hung up. Flash forward to today when I called Grubhub to check on my refund and they called the restaurant who are now refusing to offer me a refund or any sort of money back at all. This was the most disgusting dining experience of my life and even the Grubhub people were truly disgusted and appalled that the restaurant was refusing to offer me a refund. I would recommend that anyone considering ordering from this restaurant DOESNOT. ATANYCOSTS. And if you do, don’t be surprised if you find a bug in your food.

Great salad and wraps but late every.single.time. It usually takes 1h30 :’(Best compromise is to order in advance and not when you’re starving.

It’s cold outside! I wanted soup! So I was eager to make a Soup Stop on my way home from work. Big mistake! I think this business is actively trying to scare away customers. This tiny little carry out had no customers when I arrived. How often does that happen in Manhattan? I thought, «score.» Wrong, wrong, wrong. Soup Stop made me stand waiting for over 10 minutes. When there was no line. The staff of four literally turned their back on me and tended to delivery packages. All four! When somebody finally asked if «I was ready?» He walked away as I said yes… apparently not fast enough. I’m not sure about the soup as they never even took my order. I walked down a few doors and purchased elsewhere. My vote: not worth a stop at Soup Stop.

ABSOLUTELYTHEWORST! My husband and I ordered food and it was delivered an hour late. Not to mention the poor quality vs price. The soup was all over the bag, which made everything soggy, including the bread. On top of everything while eating his sandwich, my husband bit into 2 small pebbles. We called them to complain and were able to talk to the owner she immediately snapped when we told her about the situation and started yelling at us. She never offered a solution or apologized for the situation and to make it even worse she hung up on me. Terribly disappointing and extremely unacceptable! Their lack of management and zero costumer service is a calamity. Now we’re facing a dentist bill for my husbands chipped tooth. If I could rate Zero stars I would. My recommendation; do not eat here.

I wasn’t feeling too good after a long plane ride. I knew I wanted some comforting soup to ease my headache and queasiness, so I was so glad that I could order chicken noodle soup here. The lady cashier was so nice to me and welcoming! I loved the chicken noodle soup and it calmed my headache a lot. I ordered a half turkey cranberry sandwich on ciabatta bread but it was a little tough to eat the bread, hence I docked off a star. If you’re not feeling well, definitely get soup here.

Messy delivery on the omelette. Ordered an omelette and when it was delivered the contents of it were all over the container. I called and the manager said that the omlettes are made to not close. Maybe they should mention that when placing an order. Sloppy and messy. Avoid!

Horrible service. I ordered a couple of sandwiches for my family and the order was incomplete. I paid with my debit card and I never got an itemized receipt, so I didn’t have a way to prove what I paid for, the guy told me that what I’m missing in the order I have to pay for again! Lame soups, poor service, dirty floor! Don’t go there please. I would give it NO stars.

Great soup(Had Mediterranean chicken and some kind of Cream of Mushroom) but the paninis were so-so; wouldn’t order them again. Very quick and simple food.

When you’re sick, and only chicken noodle soup will do, this is the place to order from. Super fast delivery and I am telling you their soup cured me from the polar vortex induced flu I had earlier this week! Comes with nutty bread on the side — yum!

For days that are chilly and you just need a simple, non-rich, small meal, Soup Stop should be your destination. They offer around 7 flavors of soups daily, either to go or sit-in. Easy, non-pretentious food. I had the lentil and split pea soup combo’d with a half Al sandwich(the one with roast beef). The soup was pretty good — warm, cozy, and filling. However, the sandwich was not that good. While the cheese and greens were fresh, the roast beef was terribly dry. Good thing I had soup to wash it down with! Definitely not gourmet, but considering the prices, it’s not a deal breaker. Would I come back? Probably yes! Wouldn’t hurt to try their other soups and sandwiches for a quick bite. Prices are decent too. $ 5 for a small bowl of soup, and an extra $ 3.50 you can add a half sandwich.

This place used to be better a few years back. They made a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce that was to die for! Soups are pretty standard. Haven’t tried one that would make me go back on a regular basis. Overall, great option to places like Subway.

Edit: that was a freak occurrence of a delivery under 15 minutes, and I feel it is only right to demote them a star. Still good though. Not as fast. – I feel like I should order from them again before I write up this five star review, but I can’t help myself. I ordered a small New England Clam Chowder off seamless, and this was here in under 15 minutes. I work about 10 blocks and three avenues away from here! I would have tipped the delivery guy the amount of the soup had I not already charged it. The soup is delicious, perfect for lunch and came with a piece of sourdough and an apple! The apple looks sort of banged up, but how cute? YES, PLEASE.
