St Nicholas Chess & Backgammon Club

I am admittedly not thé biggest or best or baddest chess player. There is a High possibility that a child can beat me at chess. Having said that, I thought it would be cool to explore this spot. At a VERY reasonable rate of $ 5 per day anyone can step inside and test their wits against résident all stars or your below average amateur trying to get better (i.e. me!).
I didn’t explore thé bathroom– if there even is one. But I was fascinated by thé games taking place around me. Someone was gracious enough to humor me for a game but I probably was thé fastest game of thé day.
Perhaps if I get good enough to at least last 30 minutes I will return. Facilities are basic but I think you should check it out. The worst that can happen is you lose a game or you spend $ 5 watching others play. As I said, there is probably a lot more I need to learn before I can fully appreciate everything this place has to offer. However, I am super stoked that this place is here for me to fréquent!
