Sumayah Jamal

I have been a satisfied patient of Dr Sumayah Jamal at Keris Dermatology now for many many years, over ten years, nearer to fifteen. I began seeing her when she was at NYU and continued on with her after she opened her own practice. The reasons I have seen her, have not always been fun or good news for me, but she is so caring, kind, thoughtful, wise, sensitive, diligent, and excellent, and her treatment has always been so perfect, why would I go elsewhere? I have also recommended her to quite a few people, friends and family, who never fail to tell me how happy they are with her care. They too have recommended her to their friends and so on and so forth. Her staff is excellent and pleasant to deal with also. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If there were a hundred stars here, she’d get them!

I have been a patient’s of Dr. Jamal’s for over 10 years. She has treated my problematic skin over the years, all breakout related, with complete success. She is a thorough dermatologist that treats the issue from the source. Her treatments and maintenance regimes that she recommends are simple and not expensive. I attribute my glowing complexion to her and have recommended many friends who she has done the same for. She is simply the best dermatologist period.

Doctor Jamal is the best of the best. I came to see her over a decade ago througth a referral from another dermatologist here in NYC who was leaving the state. Since that time, I continue to refer family and friends to see her.
She is a thorough, kind and wise professional who will listen to you, make a reasoned and well thought out recommendation and prescribe only medications/​products that she believes will correct your issue. She isn’t a medication/​procedure/​product pusher like so many other dermatologists are. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been going to see Dr. J for several years now just for routine skin checks and the like. She is very thorough but courteous and respectful of her patients’ concerns and always answers questions directly. For the first time a month ago I did something I never thought I would: I let her stick needles in my face for botox and filler. It was fine, I didn’t need to be so nervous, but she understood, and a month later the results are subtle but great. I’ll be back for more!

You know you’re good when other doctors recommend your services. After a visit to my general practitioner for a skin issue, he recommended that I see Dr. Jamal for an expert opinion. I can see why he recommended her, Dr. Jamal and her staff are awesome. They take the time to listen to their customer’s needs and concerns and are very professional and caring. Her front office is great too and will work with you to set an appointment that fits your schedule. If you need a dermatologist, I definitely recommend Dr. Jamal.
