Never thought I would *crave* salad but I do crave sweetgreen! All their ingredients are top notch quality – I usually hate cherry tomatoes because they’re too watery and mushy but the ones here are firm and sweet. Sweet corn is also amazing. Everything is amazing ugh.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I only love them between 2 p.m. and 2:30 lol and I know that’s a weird time frame but let me explain. If you go there around 12– 1:30 p.m. you hit the lunch time rush and it’s only made for the strong minded. Don’t try to come during these hours, if it’s your first time(trust me I made that mistake and I looked crazy lol). You really need to know what you want and how you want it! Once it hits 2 p.m. its like a ghost town or the line is super short. I tried to go there one night after 5 p.m. and the greens, weren’t that sweetest.(see what I did there lol) They were actually wilted and I had brown pieces of lettuce. So be picky with the times you go and nom nom nom!

I get Sweet Green pretty often, almost everyday for lunch. Salad can’t taste this good… and I can’t get enough of it. The greens are fresh, sauces are amazing. I always get their mix; apple + butternut squash, organic lentil chickpea soup, and spicy sabzi is really good. The only downside is that trying to get a bowl of salad from 12−2pm is hectic — the line is crazy long.

I was summoned for jury duty this week and walked over to sweetgreen during the lunch break. This place is super busy during lunch, but they seem to have a really efficient ordering/line system. The menu is printed on the wall over the ordering station, but there are also paper menus you can grab while in line. There was also a worker handing out samples of one of their salads to those waiting in line, which I though was a nice touch. She was super friendly and so were the other workers I encountered. There were a lot of options for build your own(salad), so I decided to just go with the Rad Thai. Seating/table area was very clean, especially considering it was the lunch rush. Salad itself was quite good. Like most salad places in NYC, sweetgreen is way overpriced(hence the 4 stars). I’m sure I’ll visit again.

After the heavy food filled holidays and restaurant week happening, my friends and I decided we need to hit the gym and eat right to get ourselves back in shape. We went to Sweetgreen after our workout to grab some salads. I had the Rad Thai Salad and it was delicious. At under 400 cal. it was so filling and satisfying. The spicy dressing was very appetizing. There was a good amount of shrimp that I had to share some with my friend. One of my friends ordered the Warm Lentil Bowl which was more like a soup but he looked like he enjoyed it. Another one ordered the Earth Bowl which I’ve tried a bite and thought was pretty good but he complained that it wasn’t filling enough. I still liked my Rad Thai the most. The restaurant was brightly lit and seems clean. Salads avg around $ 8-$ 15.

Wow — a salad that actually tastes good and fills you up(and I’m a dude). Hands down the best salad I’ve had known to memory. I love the chicken which is actually warm and the great selection of toppings(hot and cold) The grains makes a huge difference — who ever thought. You deserve to get smacked if you ever choose Chopt over Sweetgreen.

My favorite salad ‘chain’, superior to all others in my opinion. The ingredients are fresh and local and portions are pretty generous. Sometimes one salad can feed me for two meals. There is a plethora of greens to choose from as the salad base(kale spinach mesclun arugula etc) and tons if toppings to choose from. Mostly plant based and very vegan friendly(tofu, beans, hummus as vegan protein options). There are many toppings available all year round but sweet green also loves featuring seasonal ingredients. I got hooked on sweet green in DC and was so glad they have it in nyc too! I always ask for dressing the side. They are all amazing. I particularly love the spicy cashew, carrot vinaigrette and sesame miso. Line was pretty long on a Saturday afternoon but moved a long quickly. Sweet green is great any season with their seasonal specials and warmer bowls for fall & winter. This particular store has a wide open space concept, with some tables and also a cool bleacher style seating which can accommodate a lot of people. There is also kombucha on tap! Yum. I highly recommend sweet green for a healthy meal, fully customizable to your taste. This location is great! Download the sweet green app for rewards.

Amazingly fresh salads that are always good. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the price. Salads in NYC can definitely be expensive(especially if they’re organic) but charging $ 3 extra for chicken is silly. We all know that a whole chicken cost you guys $ 5…come on, man. I will keep coming back because it’s literally the ONLY place around my office to get a decent salad that I feel good about eating, but it’s a splurge lunch place.

This is by far the best salad I’ve ever had in my life. That’s right, LIFE. The Earth Bowl here is just amazing. The cheddar, grilled chicken, chickpeas, sweet corn, arugula, etc. with the pesto dressing is just A plus. I’ve never not liked what I get here. Downside — and one that is easily a voidable — is how busy it gets during peak hours. Noon onwards, it is so crowded inside(and the wait becomes 10+ minutes). I usually race to get there right before noon. Getting there at 1150 makes a huge difference! One tip– get the sweetgreen app, which you can use to pay for your stuff, and once you spend $ 99, they give you $ 9 in credit(repeatable multiple times). You also get $ 10 towards a salad on your birthday too. If you spend $ 1000 per year, you get some kinda swag and some more perks. I don’t know if I’ll ever spend that much in a year here but the $ 9 credit is worth it :)

It’s Sweetgreen! This location has way more seating than the one in Tribeca though. Staircase-stadium like. Wasn’t nearly as crowded as you think it’d be given that it is sweetgreen and it is located in soho, but then again I did go at 3:00PM. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you must. Just don’t go with the boring classic mixes, try soemthing new – I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower and the harvest bowl!

I’ve been here a few times now. Look, the ingredients are good and it’s fresh and wholesome. But, the whole experience feels a little too«precious» — like this is for people who feel that they’re better than Chop’t. But having eaten at both many times, I’m far more consistently satisfied with Chop’t than I am with sweetgreen. The Kale Ceaser is great though.

The salads are definitely on the pricier side here, but the price is backed by the freshness of the greens and some of their toppings(not sure about some of the toppings, like the Parmesan crisp). I’ve only been here twice, and both times after going to the gym — truthfully I’ve never been here before, or heard about this brand — so I walked in here around 10:15, 10:30. The first time I must’ve been earlier because I had asked someone if they were still serving and he said yes, but the second time I walked in, a lot of the employees looked disgruntled and begrudgingly made my salad. However, beyond that, they still made my salad, and put their best they could(after they closed) into it. I appreciate that! If it’s actually an issue though, you should just let me know that you’re closed; I’ve worked this position before, and I hate when customers walked in right as we’re closing or after we’ve began closing duties. I had the Avocobbo both times, but they were made differently both times. Both times with Kale and Mezclun, since at that hour, romaine was all gone. The first time, it was made the way it was supposed to be(for the most part, as I requested olive oil instead of the blue cheese dressing, and added fresh Parmesan cheese). The second time, they ran out of avocados, so I asked for cucumber substitute, and also substituted the blue cheese dressing for the miso sesame ginger dressing, but it was also made with Parmesan crisps and Parmesan cheese without my request, which I was confused about, but didn’t mind at all — then I was rung up for a Kale Caesar? Maybe the person was exhausted and just made a popular salad, or was nice to charge me less? Either way, I enjoyed the salad, and appreciated the«discount.» I don’t know if my wallet will appreciate me if I keep coming here week after week, but I don’t mind coming. I’m sorry employees! I promise I will try to come earlier in the future! :)

Healthy options all year long. This is how fast food should be. I believe this is even how school lunch should be served for our youth. Quality always.

First visit, and a disappointing one. Lackluster employees chucking together somewhat fancy ingredients, or lack there of. No avocado or roasted almonds in stock… and then charging $ 23.90? Even for Soho/Nolita that’s premium. And if you charge premium, you need to deliver premium. Instead, no love for their food but randomly mashed together in a take away bowl worthy of a food cart. The food: not better than any midtown salad bar, too much dressing, even on the ‘light’ version — and where unlimited ingredients are a healthy $ 9

I hate salad but I will eat salad here. The ingredients are so fresh, the drinks are so refreshing and the décor is very hip. They give you so much avocado when you ask for it and the dressings are bomb. The jalapeño and pesto ones are my favorite. And yay for seasonality! They change their menu to serve what is in season!

Omgggggg I’m obsessed with Sweetgreen. I may be a bit biased as well because the founders are from my alma mater, but really, these are the best salads ever. And this is my favorite location(including all the original ones in DC!). The staff is friendly, it’s open, airy, inviting, and basically just lots of good vibes. You can see them preparing all the veggies in the back, and consequently, every salad I’ve ever had here is fresh and crunchy. Their dressings are amazing, the warm bread is the perfect addition… Prices are actually not even that bad for a trendy salad place. Sweetgreen is so much better than all of its counterparts(Chop’t, etc.) and it will really make you crave salad.

Delicious salads and super healthy! What i appreciate the most is that Sweetpea gives you very interesting combinations of greens, meats, fruit and other things in your salad or rice bowl. Because after a while, don’t all salads just start tasting exactly the same? Their peach and goat cheese salad was amazing! In terms of the establishment itself, large open area for cafeteria style lining up and ordering and even bleacher style seata if you would like. Not too many places to sit with a table unfortunately, but i did notice that most people take their meals to go anyway. I will definitely be back for a quick bite after a workout or for lunch. Can’t wait to try more seasonal specials too!

While New York City has almost anything you could wish for available at pretty much any time of the day, it’s been difficult to find an affordable go-to to get fresh, healthy meals. I’m not talking ‘healthy’ like a juice cleanse, but just a place that uses fresh, organic ingredients and doesn’t fry everything to oblivion. DC based chain Sweetgreen is changing all of that. Whether you want a fresh-ass salad or a bowl chock full of healthy grains and other goodies, there is something for everyone. My favorites include the seasonal bowls, Earth Bowl, Guacamole Greens salad, Caesar salad, the Rad Thai, and as weird as it sounds, their recent collaboration with Kendrick Lamar(Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe). Honestly, I’ve liked everything I’ve ever tried there EXCEPT their drinks. Though beverages like pear fresca and lemonade sound delish, they have next to no sugar in them so they’re all kind of watery. Guess not everything can be healthy and tasty. The prices range from about $ 7-$ 12, which in this area is pretty darn cheap for such fresh high quality ingredients. Add to that the clean, airy décor of the place with a couple of outdoor tables and arena seating, plus the friendly service, and this place has officially become my healthy haven in unhealthy Little Italy!

This was my 1st trip to Sweetgreens, I was a bit hesitant at first because I hate spending over $ 10 for salads and thought it may be a bit of a hype. I do not regret my choice it one bit. It was one of the best salads I’ve had in a while. My last experience at a salad bar in NYC was not very good so I was a little worried but the staff here is super nice! They were very friendly and gave me recommendations on what was good. The store itself is amazing! It is huge with tons of seating and a very open and inviting ordering area to make salads. I ended up getting the Kale Caesar salad with Roasted Chicken, Romaine Lettuce, Kale and lime ceasar dressing. Unlike other salads I have had in the past, the ingredients of chicken to tomato to kale were perfectly proportioned. I even gave out a little squeal of happiness. For $ 10, I felt my portion was pretty big and I loved how the salad was already mixed for me when I opened it. No lettuce leaves getting all over the place when you mix your salad! The light option for dressing was more than enough for me. double plus how they educate the public about local farms and locally sourcing and have a sign of the farms where they get their products from. There is also a sign of what is in season and what is not which I found interesting as well.

Everything here is just impeccably curated and well laid out. They have really fresh, unique ingredients that simply taste better than other places like Chop’t. Kind of a homemade quality — hearty and seemingly good for you. The current Winter Menu has some great concoctions, including a bok choy stew/soup/salad and the portobello/wild rice/squash bowl, which is pure crack. They seem to be a little skimpy on the substitutions, but it’s worth it, so far.

Wow — I am totally in love with Sweetgreen! I’ve actually only heard about it due to the newforkcity instagram profile and I knew we had to check it out while in NYC — and it did not disappoint! We went there for lunch — I got the earth bowl with quinoa and lots of good stuff which was more than filling(the portions are definitely on the bigger side) and my friend got the guacamole greens salad. The earth bowl was full of different flavors and I especially loved the basil pesto dressing and have to re-create it at home! The place was rather busy during lunch time but due to the various seating options it did not feel crowded at all. The staff was very friendly and made sure to collect empty bowls as soon as you were done.
