First of all the diamond pendant product quality was excellent. And the price was the best available for the quality. Customer service was awesome. I was concerned about delivery since there was a holiday weekend involved and they made sure I received the necklace earlier than expected!

Szul Customer Service is a absolutely horrible. Do NOT purchase from here if you expect any assistance when something goes wrong. and it WILL go wrong.
The story: My fiancée purchased a wedding set from Szul. It came. It was perfect. it was beautiful. Until two small diamonds fell out within a week of proposing. Bear in mind that I remove my ring for everything — sleeping, cleaning, showering, working out, everything, so wear and tear on the ring is minimal. We sent both the engagement ring and the wedding band back to them so that they could repair the engagement band and ensure that the prongs on the wedding band are secure. We received the package back in the right amount of time, but only the engagement ring had been returned.
Due to our miscommunication, we had no idea that the wedding band was missing until, oh, we want to get married! Go figure, right? We go to the safe and oh, it’s not there. So, we place a call to Szul. Their response is copied/​pasted here from their email: «Sorry we cannot assist you with this inquiry as it has been more than 4 months. We have emailed our manufacturing department to confirm price of an additional band. You will hear from us within 24−48hrs.» We received the same response over the phone and wanted it in writing because are so disgusted. The price to pay for a band that they failed to return to us? $ 200. It may be minimal, but to ask someone to pay for a ring twice in order to receive it is wrong.
Today, I called back. Now, they can file an investigation. Funny, they couldn’t do that yesterday. We’ll see what happens with the investigation, but if needed, we’ll keep going up the chain of command because everyone has a boss, including the company: the BBB. Again, I reiterate, do not expect any customer service from this company.

I normally don’t do reviews like this, as you can tell in my Unilocal profile, but my experience was so good I had to give Szul some praise!
I was in the market for an engagement ring and had searched high and low for one in retail stores and other online shops. My dad had told me about szul and how good the prices were and he had me intrigued. I probably looked through their website about 20 – 30 times before I chose to go with them for my engagement ring purchase. I was still skeptical because I couldn’t see the ring. However the fact that they give a no-​hassle 30 return policy made me feel a little more at ease.
So I choose to select a diamond setting and select a specific diamond for the engagement ring. My best recommendation is to do as much research as you can on Diamond clarity, cut, color, carrots, and certification. After looking at a ton of jewelers, i knew pretty much what I wanted to get my NOW fiancé. I finally took the leap of faith after the many reviews i looked at from Szul.
Because I picked a setting and a loose diamond, it took about a week in a half to get my order, because I paid extra for rushed delivery. But when I got my order, I couldn’t have been more happy. I was given all the certifications, and documents I needed from Szul and the diamond I purchased. The diamond sparkled like I had spent $ 4−5K on it!
The customer service was great. I’m not the easiest person to deal with when making a large purchase and asked a ton of questions, but the chat rep I spoke with answered all of them and was very patient with me.
My fiancé and all her friends and family were amazed at the ring and I couldn’t have been more proud. Everything I ordered was exactly as I selected, size, cut, quality, carrot weight, and everything.
Keep in mind when shopping for an engagement ring or any other jewelry, diamonds loose their value as fast a car does if your spending less than 10K. If you buy jewelry and try take it to a local jeweler, of course they are going to say its junk because they want you to purchase from THEIR inventory. As far as having a diamond fall out loose, its going to happen. People will always have different wear and tear on their jewelry.

The service is ATROCIOUS. No quality control (damaged rings twice, wrong size twice), slow exchange service, NASTY customer service representative, no supervisors on duty.
The FIRST time we got my wedding band, it was a size 10 but we ordered a 7.
The SECOND time we got my wedding band, two diamonds were set incorrectly and looked gray.
The THIRD time we got my wedding band, it was a size 10 again.
The FOURTH time we got my wedding band, it was MISSING A DIAMOND!!!
I called the # on the orange card in my package, and the rep’s first words were «That’s impossible. You made that up because the ring CAN’T have a missing diamond, ok? It’s brand new ok»
Starting off by calling me a liar is NOT the way to make me play nice in the sandbox.
«IS THIS NOT YOUR RING? DID YOU NOT PUT AN ORANGE CARD IN MY PACKAGING TO CALL YOU? HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A LIAR? WHERE IS YOUR SUPERVISOR BECAUSE YOU CLEARLY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF TAKING CARE OF A HUMAN BEING ON THE PHONE!»
She tells me there is no supervisor and I have to deal with it. She told me she refused to help me and there was nothing I could do.

I, ABSOLUTELY, LOVE, my wedding band. I customized Item Number: RGF12521 to 14k white gold and upgraded the diamonds to GIA certified SI1 diamonds. It is fantastic and captures the light beautifully.

Buy from a local jeweler! I wore the ring for 3 months and a stone came up missing. their repair policy is only 60 days, the ring looks cheap. I don’t dare take it to a real jeweler to fix, I know they will say it’s junk.

Not sure about the two negative reviews. The diamond I received was excellent quality, so I would be very satisfied, however it appraised at what I paid, so not as great a deal as I thought. I’m sure if you got a huge discount it would be well worth it. Otherwise, a good online seller.

I purchased a ring as xmas gift. Before processing payment made sure it will be delivered before Xmas. And today is eve and still nothing. I called and they said o it will be shipped sometime in next week. Really???

I bought a few things for these guys and had a good experience with them. I even returned one item because I didnt like it and there were no issues. So I decided to take a chance with them and buy a dimond online for my girl. Delivery was prompt and the ring look exactly the same as it did on the website. But not knowing much about diamonds, I had my local jeweler check it out and (without telling him how much I paid for it) he basically told me it was worth more than what I paid. So feel good about the purchase and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for solid quality at true discounted prices.

I bought an engagement ring from Szul and couldn’t have had a better experience. I had zero knowledge about diamonds and engagement rings in general. With the price range I gave, they brought me up to speed on the basics of picking out a diamond and the setting. I was never overwhelmed nor pushed in any direction. I got the highest quality stone for the price I was paying (it was appraised a lot higher than the price I paid). The ring came out beautifully, it was high quality, and my fiancé loves it! Even after it was made, they gave me the ease of mind of coming back if there was anything she didn’t like. I highly recommend Szul and I’ll be going back if I need more jewelry.

I was a little nervous to buy jewelry online without actually seeing it in person. Szul had such great prices for the stones and bands that it was hard to resist. I made my own engagement ring and picked out the diamond and could not be happier with the result. They give you all the information about their diamonds (4Cs) so picking a stone was easy. Their service people were a little slow in responding to questions but they do get back to you and are very understanding and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone trying to buy a ring in a certain budget, but would urge people to do their research on selecting a perfect diamond, otherwise you could be disappointed with your purchase regardless of where u purchase it from.

I was also hesitant about buying my diamond ring online, especially for such a low price. After lots of research, I got the 1 Carat Princess Cut ring for just under $ 1000 and it is everything I’ve ever wanted. They tell you everything you need to know about each stone in the description, and every jeweler that I have taken the pieces to confirmed that they were correct. I got the ring quickly and still feel butterflies when I look at my left hand! Szul definitely delivered, and the prices are the lowest for what you’re getting. Also got gifts for my bridesmaids, each one a pendant with their birthstone. They love them as well and I’m so happy with everything that I just had to let everyone know.

Buyers Beware… I purchased a 1 carat cushion-​cut diamond solitaire from
for $ 1,271. It was on «sale.»
I should have known better than to buy diamonds online but the company seemed to have good reviews. When I received the ring, I did think it looked more included than was advertized but it looked pretty enough to me, and I was aware that I was buying a diamond with slight inclusions. It came with a Szul manufacterer’s certificate that valued the ring at $ 5,000.
Four months later (this morning), I wake up to find that the diamond had fallen out of the setting. I eventually located the stone in the sheets and of course was very upset about it. I took it to my local jeweler, who examined the diamond and exclaimed that it was literally the worst diamond she had ever seen and that if I were to try and sell it she could not even offer me a penny because it was worthless.
The jeweler explained that the diamond is so highly included that it was not even fit for use in jewelry and that the cut was crooked and «terrible.» I immediately called Szul and the customer service agent was rude, refused to return the ring because the 30-​day return period had passed, and asked me to have a jeweler submit in writing that the ring is a piece of junk. They did not guarantee that I would get my money back either. I am going to continue to take action against them until I get a full refund. I am happy to send their awful diamond back.
Luckily, my wedding is not until next summer and I have an amazing fiancé who bought me a new engagment ring this afternoon from a wonderful jeweler near where we live with a beautiful, unincluded certified diamond.
Save yourself the trouble and buy diamonds elsewhere! One of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had.

This website sucks! I bought a 1 ct diamond ring one year ago, the clarity is I2-​I3 and price is $ 900. Then a few days ago I wanted to sell it and change into a higher quality one, no jeweler will buy it! They told me they can’t imagine someone will buy this as such high price and u know what, this is even not a natural diamond! It’s a clarity enhanced! The website didn’t mention it at all! Not on the certificate! Nowhere! Now I really don’t know how to do with this crap!

I was a little leary about buying diamonds online, but after months of research I went with Szul because they had the best stones for the best prices (I have a massive spreadsheet of all the stones I compared).
Since I couldn’t see the stones in person, and I now it is important to do so, I ordered two stones and had them delivered to me. I took them to my neighborhood jeweler to verify them and to look at them through a scope.
One stone was a 1.02 ct princess VVS1 G and the other was a 1.00 ct round VS2 H but with hearts/​arrows cut. They sent me everyting packaged well with all the appropriate EGL certs.
Prior to seeing them, I thought the princess would be prettier, but the round with the perfect cut looks far sparklier in person.
So I kept the round and returned the princess with no problems. After I had the stone mounted, I sent it off for GIA appraisal and it came back valued at 3.5X what I paid for it!
In all seriousness, this round stone with this cut looks as good as or better than a $ 20K stone that is an E color flawless because of it’s cut. They have been compared and most people can’t tell the difference!
I have and will buy from Szul again!
