If you’re craving a crêpe that will satisfy your tummy and make you full, this is your go-to crêpe. I got the Matcha Azuki Bean because I’m an absolute matcha feen. It was perfect and my friend got the Matcha Chocolate Truffles which was also really delicious!

The Matcha Chocolate Truffles crêpe was delicious. The Matcha, chocolate and strawberries together create a very tasty bite. The chocolate truffles melt in your mouth and there’s a little crunch to the crêpe. If you show your student ID you will get a discount. They also have free lemon water. I would definitely come back to try the lychee romantic.

We ordered two salmon crepes. They both had little to no cream cheese making then really difficult to eat. The saltiness from the fish and capers was unbearable without any sauce or cream cheese to mellow it. After calling about the lack of cream cheese the woman suggested next time we ask for more cream cheese and did not offer to make new crepes at all. I would not suggest ordering the smoked salmon crepes unless you’re OK with it not having cream cheese.

Was walking by and my attention got caught by the window displays. The depictions they showed looked amazing so I went in to try. The place is really cozy and has free WIFI, so I pictured this might turn out to be one of my new favorite places to come to and chill. Disappointment occurred after I ordered my Matcha Chocolate Truffle crêpe. There was hardly any filling on the inside… The texture of the crêpe was way too soft. I read the reviews of its crispy edges and did not get such a thing. There was much to be desired. I don’t like completely dismissing places, so maybe if I’m in the area I’ll give this place a second try.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from a Crêpe Shop… Savory Crepes sound confusing right ? So here I am walking in the door with A LOT of skepticism, I got myself the Chicken Teriyaki Crêpe based on the servers suggestions. The whole process of crêpe making is intriguing, full points there. The crêpe themselves eeehh, let just say you wont find me in there for lunch hours any time soon. My skepticism was spot on about the savory crepes. FYI it’s expensive, too little food for $ 9 bet u’ll be hungry in the next 30 min. If I were you I’d stick to the sweet dessert crêpe, emphasis on Dessert POST meal. I’ll comeback maybe for dessert not really sure though.

I had SUCH high hopes for this place. I also think sometimes that happens with reviews on here, anything over 4.5 stars on Unilocal and you are expecting pure amazing so it’s easy to get let down. First of all the customer service at this place was great. I went for lunch, they were super nice, accommodating, and polite. I decided to get the savory short rib crêpe. My first reaction was, «that’s. .. .different.» My taste buds were trying to adjust to tasting the crêpe along with the other savory ingredients. I think it would have been a home run except for the proportion of fillings. I know it’s only $ 10(the short rib being the most expensive) but I felt like I had a few pieces of meat, a few green beans and red peppers and then mostly lettuce. Most of the time I felt like I was eating a lettuce crêpe, lots of lettuce, lots of crêpe, not enough of everything else. It wasn’t horrible by any means but I would rather have paid a little more money and felt like I had something more substantial. You definitely can’t go into it thinking you’re going to get something similar to a crêpe burrito, it’s much much lighter. In some ways that’s good and in some ways bad. I would still go back but this time I would definitely go for a sweet crêpe, there is less of a need for it to be filled to get enough flavor.

Had this bookmarked for awhile, and I’m so glad to have finally made it here. DELICIOUS. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted! Inside, there is enough seating and the menu is pretty varied. I ended up getting the Matcha Azuki Crêpe because I love Azuki bean and these days I’m craving it so much lol. It did not disappoint at all. This is my first time trying a Japanese crêpe: the outside layer is a soft, crispy texture. How can it be soft and crispy? It just is! Very pleasant. The filling was matcha ice cream, matcha cream, thinly sliced almonds, azuki bean paste and two pocky sticks. Everything balanced out perfectly. Usually, I’m quite hesitant on buying matcha-azuki things, because it’s a hit or miss imo. But this was definitely a hit. Yum. The scoop of green tea ice cream was just enough, along with the matcha cream, which was not overly strong in taste. I was so happy the matcha was flavorful, yet subtle. The ice cream was refreshing and the azuki bean was smooth. The atmosphere inside the shop was nice. There is wifi and many outlets for charging your phone! Favorite crêpe place so far! I will come back!

There is legitimately no place better than this for crepes. This place makes quality crepes with quality ingredients. The crêpe-makers take sanitization seriously– they even use mouth guards when they make your crêpe! A few crepes I can recommend(I’m not a big fan of bananas and chocolate in my crepes): caramel fuji apple fruits cocktail egg white mushroom truffle Whenever I have a visitor from another state, I always take them here.

Been to this place twice and so far it may be the most creative, tasty crepes. You have options that are sweet or savory. So if you want something that is meal based and fulfilling, give it a try. Or dessert this your place. I plan on going back to try all their other options.

A little bit different than the usual crepes you get, but it’s not a bad thing. A bunch of different types of savory and sweet crepes, I stuck to a basic strawberry banana crêpe which was delicious. Service is fast and friendly and they give you a card where you get them stamped and after a certain amount of times you get a free crêpe. Which is always a plus to me.

I’ve tried the Matcha Chocolate Truffle crêpe during my first visit here and it was perfection. An amazing combination of strawberries, chocolate truffles, matcha custard cream, whipped yogurt, chocolate sauce, crushed pistachio. So many ingredients and they go together perfectly. During my second visit, I got the Blueberry NY Cheesecake. It was very disappointing compared to the first one — definitely not as complex yet it was just as pricey. Calling this NY Cheesecake is pretty far-fetched. I kept getting mouthfuls of cream cheese and yogurt which just taste nasty together. I couldn’t even finish it. I like the metal stands that they give you to hold your crêpe if you are staying, and the cone shaped bags you get for to-go orders. So cute. The service here is good and it’s fun watching them assemble your crêpe behind the counter. I will be back but I probably will stick to the Matcha Chocolate Truffle because I am now hesitant to try anything else, and it’s just that good.

Japanese anything is amazing — but crepes? Sure! They are always crisp with layers of anything delicious. My fav is Fuji apple with caramel. They aren’t too sweet with their yogurt custard acts as a great balance with any of the fillings. Savor is great too — especially for breakfast. Try it!

The egg white mushroom w/truffle goes so good with the baby spinach! Very refreshing and am not feeling sinful after finishing a whole crêpe! The more important thing is that all the staff are very very friendly. You can ask them for recommendation, they would be very willing to help you out within all the tempting choices!

I was in the neighborhood and came across this Japanese crêpe shop. Here’s my take: Space — Super clean! There’s two 2-person tables, a counter with four high chairs, and a 3-person bench for people waiting for their orders. Free — They have free lemon water while you wait for your order. Savory Crêpe — I tried the Okinawa hot dog crêpe and it was pretty good. It had hot dog bits cut into octopus shapes, mesclun mix, carrots, red bell peppers, shredded cheese, red onions, corn, banana ketchup, and tofu sauce. My favorite was the final third of the crêpe because the flavors really came together. This is a great place for a quick snack!

I careened into the store at 11:01pm after the store technically closed. Luckily the outside light was still on and another person had ordered before me, but the employees were already cleaning down shop. Because Unilocal is wonderful and had pictures of the menu, I already knew what I wanted to order: Lychee Romantic. I always carry around my student ID because of places like this which unexpectedly offer a student discount(or maybe not since it IS right next to NYU). The crêpe was made fairly quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I like the the paper wrapper is designed to rip down as you eat the crêpe. It’s a lovely location and a great product. I’m interested in trying one of their savory crepes now.

I visited T-Swirl after some blogger uploaded an Instagram photo of this place. My crêpe was definitely not as cute as the photo posted and it did not look as appetizing, but the taste of the crêpe was pretty good. Surprisingly filling and surprisingly cheap. I only wish that they would have filled my crêpe more, the ones displayed in front of the window are super fat and pouring with strawberries… that was a little disappointing. Customer service was good, space is small. Take your student ID if you have one, 10% off–

Let me start off with complimenting their creative decoration. I have been searching for a crêpe spot, T-Swirl is a growing franchise that sells Japanese/savory crepes and shakes. Their crepes is extremely crispy and the crepes are not humongous so it was not messy to eat. How cool is it to enjoy your crêpe while it’s on the holder. I got the lychee romantic and replace my raspberries with strawberries. Both fruits were pretty sweet. Staffs are really nice and they have water in the side so after a sweety sweet crêpe you can have some water. Great great will definitely come back.

I love crepes. I love crepes. I love crepes. T-Swirl is my favorite crêpe place. I will eat their crepes DAYANDNIGHT… if I could affording eating out all the time –sigh– The décor is cute. SOCUTE… but small… but crepes so… The staff is attentive and friendly. And there is a small counter that provides you with lemon water. I think the consistency of their crêpe quality across the locations has been quite good. I go to the Flushing one at times, and I still have no complaints. I always get my standard banana chocolate crêpe(apologies if that is not the standard name). I love it. I also tried their salmon crêpe as a substitute for dinner. I LOVEDIT. The taste was on the salty side, but I am one that enjoys life on the salty side. And it is a little raw, so buyer beware.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki and it’s hands down one of the best on their menu. I was a little wary at first, because in my mind crêpes are suppose to be sweet not savory but it was highly recommended by one of the staff. Least to say, I didn’t regret it one bit. The portion is perfect too. My friend decided to go with a strawberry banana crêpe with a scoop of vanilla. Delicioussss! The fruits were fresh and the gelato topped it off. Would recommend this to friends and come back again!

Tried the Matcha Azuki crêpe — wasn’t too big of a fan of the matcha custard cream or the cream cheese, but the gelato is good. The quality of the crêpe itself is great — crispy and fresh, and the the toppings are well distributed. The decoration’s pretty minimal, but the employees are pretty friendly. There is a loyalty card(if you buy 9, you get one free) and you can get a free crêpe on your birthday(just show ID). They do have free lemon water, which is nice.

These crepes are amazing. I had T-Swirl bookmarked for a while due to its high ratings and finally was in the area Saturday night. I came with a group of friends and everyone was delighted with their sweet crepes. The large size is great for its price, and I was pretty full even though I shared my crêpe with my boyfriend. The workers roll the crepes in front of you, and you can see how they evenly distribute all the fruits and ingredients inside the crêpe. The flavor is excellent and one can observe that from the technique. Definitely want to come back if I’m in the area and try more flavors off the menu. The savory crepes sound a little less appealing, but I might venture to try the smoked salmon!

It’s a small place with an interior that mimics a coffee shop. It has an eye catching amount of crepes on display in front of their shop, giving off an inviting lure to those who are hungry for sweets. In terms of taste, their crêpe are the best that I ever tasted. It’s crispy and fresh on the spot! I’ve tasted crêpe from multiple places before and they were always saggy incomparison to the crepes from this place. I’ll definitely return to try out the rest of the menu. I’ve got a matcha azuki crêpe, which consist of green tea ice cream, chocolate pocky sticks, red bean, strawberries and I think there is some crème cheese? It was very filling. Definitely a nice desert for any occasion. I’ll come back to try their caramel apple crêpe whenever to get the chance to! Also their hot drinks are only coffee drinks(latte, machiato, etc).

I had their banana/strawberry crêpe and their vegetarian crêpe. I would give this 3.5 stars if Unilocal allowed. The ingredients seemed fresh and the savory wasn’t too salty as the sweet wasn’t too sugary. They claim to be Japanese crepes? Didn’t know they had crepes that originated in Japan?! This is a good treat for an after dinner jaunt or a mid-meal tie over. I think they keep their little dining section very clean and the cashier was pleasant.

crispy edges and never too sweet. It’s not strickly speaking a fast place, cuz they spent much time placing every leaf of your spinach… Iiked the okinawa dogs and service was also decent BTW, they have double egg crepes! all-day breakfast ftw!

Japanese rice flour crepes. It works very nicely on both savory and sweet. Nice shrimp avocado crêpe. Lots of flavor and good amount of shrimp. The wild berries crêpe was the perfect end to the meal.

So so yummy! As many have mentioned, T-Swirl serves Japanese-style crepes. You can order savory(meat and vegetarian) or sweet crepes. The crêpe batter they use comes out delicate and crispy, and they expertly layer in the ingredients so that every bite has flavor! Best of all, you can eat it on the go as it comes in a cool tear-off packaging. I recommend the Chicken Teriyaki crêpe if you’re there for lunch, but you can’t go wrong with a sweet one too!

My friend told me she’s been wanting to check out this place so I thought why not. I enjoy crepes, but I never go out of my way to get them. There’s one or two place I like going to, but I’m never ever craving it like crazy. So coming here, I had no expectations at all. I decided to try the popular Matcha Chocolate Truffles which has Sliced strawberries, matcha custard cream, chocolate truffles, whipped yogurt, chocolate sauce, and crushed pistachio. I also prefer sweet crepes over savory. The workers are soooo friendly and nice. Top notch service. You order and grab a sit wherever you like. Once you’re order is ready, they will bring it to you. I took one bit and literally, my eyes went wide. This crêpe is pretty damn good. Their crêpe, which is also gluten free, is probably one of the best I’ve tasted. It was perfectly made and very crispy. The way they wrap the crêpe ensures that you taste everything in each bite. So every bite had that nice crisp texture to it. The yogurt added a great fluffy texture to it. Apparently their chocolate is made fresh in store! Lastly, the crushed pistachio added that extra crunch, which made it even better!!! I don’t know why, but I didn’t want to like it as much as I did. After I left, I found myself thinking about it constantly. I’m still thinking about it. They just did a really good job at finding the perfect balance in flavors and knowing how to prepare it so each bite is consistent. I’d definitely come back here again and will be suggesting this place to my friends!

I was never a huge fan of crepes — neither savory nor sweet — even though we had some pretty good crêpe places in my college town, so I was slightly hesitant about trying out T-swirl. I’m glad I did though! We decided to get one sweet crêpe and one savory crêpe so that we could try both. The sweet crêpe was a pretty easy decision to make. We went with the Matcha Azuki right away! The savory crêpe was a little more difficult, and we were stuck between the tuna nicoise and the shrimp avocado. We ended up choosing the shrimp avocado, because when we asked what kind of tuna was in the crêpe, we were told that it was canned… no thanks! I’m really glad we got the shrimp avocado! If you are looking for a warm, savory wrap, this is the one for you! The shrimp is freshly grilled and wonderfully seasoned. I also really liked the dressing/sauce that was used in the wrap. The Matcha Azuki was yummy as well, but I enjoyed the green tea ice cream and the pocky sticks more than the actual crêpe itself. I must commend them for their presentation, which was impeccable, whether it was for taking out or dining in. For example, each piece of spinach was placed deliberately on our shrimp avocado crêpe to create a… spinach flower! It’s a nice touch(and great for photos), although not completely necessary since it’s all going to end up looking the same in my belly anyway. :) This place is really tiny and the seating is limited, so unless you have a small group(2 – 3 people max), you are probably better ordering to go. I appreciate that they keep a dispenser of ice water in the seating area though. It’s nice to not have to ask for water and to just be able to pour a glass yourself.

There is a reason why this new creperie has rave reviews so far. It’s good. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. The crepes are made from rice flour so they’re gluten free if that is a concern. They use fresh ingredients(even the chocolate truffle is made in the store) and they promise to layer your crêpe so that each bite respective tastes like what you ordered. The crêpe is meant to be eaten as a burrito so sharing may be difficult. Frankly I wouldn’t want to share. The actual space isn’t big so a large crowd would have to stand around. There are a few outlets here for charging electronics. There’s free lemon water. There isn’t a restroom so don’t count on this place for that. You can also get your crêpe to go in a customized plastic bag.
