I was excited about this truck due to the interesting 3-course menu. But this was, surprising, inedible. The noodles were mushy and tasted like they had gone bad or something. I can’t describe the acrid flavor but I ate half due to strong hunger and started feeling nauseous. I threw the rest out. The spring rolls were two tiny strips folded in half — not quite rolls. I also got some kind of vegetable ball, which was hot and tasted pretty good but was drenched in sauce. The guys were friendly enough and it was ready pretty quickly. I’d be willing to guess they have better days. I came at 2, so a little later when the food might be past it’s prime. But I can’t recommend this place and I won’t be back.

This is a fairly new truck put up this year(according to their twitter feed) and I have been impressed with them. This is the first time that I have seen them or even tried them so this may be a rough guesstimate at the type of food that they serve. I decided to try their imperial fish in chili sauce. At first appearance the truck looked small compared to the surrounding trucks. It looked like a chip off the old block and to be honest I was scared at the menu at first glance. It took me a while to understand how everything worked but after you read it once or twice it is pretty easy to understand. You have a choice of an appetizer(from what I remember there were spring rolls and drums of heaven [chicken wings] and one other thing) an entrée(pork dish, paneer with chili sauce, dry beef, imperial fish with chili sauce, Szechuan chicken and«panang» curry) and either rice, noodles, or fried rice. When I was ordering there was a… I guess a line? it wasn’t really a line it was more like a barber shop gathering where you just knew who was there first before you. Although may pose to be problematic but with the amount of people that were there it worked. The individuals who took/cooked our orders took their time ensuring that everything went smoothly and was prepared properly. It seemed like all the food was prepared before hand and preparation was to a bare minimum(for example plating the food, frying the spring rolls, and mixing the dish with the fish) So I decided to go with fried rice with the imperial fish in chili sauce and spring rolls. The fried rice was interesting. Can’t really ruin fried rice but they had English peas, carrots, and I believe I saw a strand or two of chopped green beans. It had a decent amount of soy sauce. Not enough to overpower the dish but just enough to give the rice a different texture from standard run of the mill jasmine rice. The spring roll was nothing really to write home about. The contents were obviously sitting for a while and fried right before I got it. again nothing special. Mainly tasted the wonton wrapping more than the veggies itself. Would have preferred to have a little more vegetables inside of it(like bean sprouts or shredded carrots) but again nothing wrong here. Just a little nit pick. Now the main entrée. The imperial fish was lightly breaded in flour and fried mixed together in a Thai chili sauce with green onion, red onion, and green peppers. The chili sauce was slightly modified with ginger I believe. I couldn’t 100% tell at the time but I think it had shavings of ginger in it. However, it all worked very well. The ginger went well with the fish. The fact that the fish was fried kept the fish from tasting… «Fishy». The green onion was a nice accented flavor. Although eating whole green onion stems is not my thing, it added a nice flavor to the dish. the spring roll was also nice to dip in the sauce. SUMMARY: All in all a very impressive food truck. From what I understand they also have a restaurant. If their food is on caliber with their food truck I’d be willing to give their restaurant a try. The fish was cooked well with a good combination of flavors and techniques. It might’ve been just the combination of things I got, but what I got meshed very well.
