This is my go-​to meat shop for Halal meat in Fresh Meadows. The three male workers there are very respectful and seem honest. I used to go all the way to Steinway street to purchase Halal meat, but I find the meat here to be cheaper and better.

I’ve only gone here for my qurbani order (my husband has gotten chicken a few times before) and wow! What a great job. The meat was well cleaned and in small, manageable pieces. The staff were courteous and even helped me load it into the car. I forgot to tip them but I will definitely do so at my next trip. Poor guys were on their feet (probably the whole day) with an open box of half eaten pizza while they worked through all the orders. These guys mean business though — no credit or debit cards accepted (at least for the qurbani orders), only cash.
