I have a 3 years old daughter and she has been taking lessons with Tammy for a few months. Tammy is really good at working with little kids. She can keep my daughter on focus for the whole half hour lessons(In general, the piano lessons are 15 minutes for a 3 years old). Tammy graduated from a top music school, Berklee College of Music, so I believe her teaching method must be something different with regular music teachers. Anyway, she provide free trials so there is no risk to give it a try.

Since I was a kid I always wanted to play piano. Tammy not only has patience to teach me but also she helped me to select the piano. Our weekly meetings are something I am looking forward to. It feels very relaxing yet already after few lessons I can see my progress. Tammy’s studio is conveniently located near 72nd street station and she is very flexible with hours too to match my busy work schedule. I highly recommend Tammy as your piano(or other instrument) teacher.

I hired Tammy as I would like to speak and write better English. She was fast at understanding my goals, and within the first lesson, I had already learned several new words and ways of pronunciation. The lessons are very structured, and I always receive a PDF afterwards, showing what we worked on during the lesson and what I have to work on at home. Tammy is fun, yet personal and professional.

Tammy’s piano/music expertise is magical! As a pianist myself, I interviewed several piano teachers for my daughter and Tammy was by far the best according to me and my daughter. She uses techniques that inspire and challenge a student and keep the momentum alive. She makes sure the student is always alert and never bored. We are very lucky to have Tammy as our piano teacher and can’t wait for my second child to also take lessons. I would recommend her highly!
