This was the most dingiest chain restaurant locations I’ve ever visited. You have to climb a few flights of stairs just to get to the dining area. Once there, the place felt very low-energy and had a creepy feel. Our female server was okay, but looked mean and unhappy. The Tostado Nachos were great. The warm pretzels had too much salt on them versus the ones I had at another Friday’s location I frequent and the accompanying cheese sauce tasted artificial and nasty, not rich and flavorful. The absolute worse part of the visit was the server’s demeanor. It really devalued the experience. Won’t be returning here.

Have been here a few times. From all the TGIF’s this place somehow seems to have the best tasting ribs. The service is good. Pretty fast during the day time. Definitely going back for more ribs.

The absolute worst service I have ever encountered. I came in one day with a friend after work to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat, my first impression when I walked in was nobody wanted to work! They did not offer us a table so we sat at the bar which was an even worse idea(we should of walked right out) The bartender/server did not pay any mind to us, everyone was wearing a hat which looked beyond unprofessional and THEN when the bartender decides she’s ready to acknowledge us she pretty much just throws a menu our way and walks away. I recommend NOONE to eat here! This place really needs to hire better employees.

30 $ steak looks like shit and tastes like shit. Don’t get happy hour drinks if you don’t sit at the bar…

I walked in there, nobody seemed to notice. It happens, but they didn’t look busy. What REALLY made me walk out was the smell. It smelled like vomit and it was only 1pm.

I think one has to manage expectations when they go to a chain restaurant. There are pros and cons for sure. I actually ended up here on a weeknight after I got out of work on my birthday. My best friend and I came here, partly for old time’s sake(long story) and partly because we wanted hearty food in a very casual setting. You go upstairs to reach the level of the restaurant. It’s really huge and has a bar at one end. There were balloons floating around when I was there. It was pretty empty, but we didn’t care. We sat down and perused the extensive menu. We got the appetizer platter. 1. Mango peach and Strawberry lemonade slushy: These were really good and come with free refills, but I could not have any more after 2 glasses because of the sugar. 2. Three combo sampler: Loaded potato skins(fine), buffalo sriracha boneless wings(quite good), fried green beans(THEBOMB!!). Seriously, the green beans are probably one of the best items here. 3. Smoked house burger with fries: This was really good. Sometimes the simplest things, even if not the most creative, are what you need. It was really well done. 4. Rib-eye steak with half rack of ribs with sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes: My god this was so good. It was hearty, well cooked, and relatively cheap. 5. Oreo ice cream cake: How could this be bad? Well, it wasn’t. It was pretty darn good. Everything was well-priced and decently portioned. We actually had amazing service. We loved our servers, and they sang for me and took photos with us. HIlarious. A good time for all.

2.5 stars. Lisa R., our significant others and I stopped by this TGIFridays on our way back to Queens. As her review states, the hostess was very strange. He greeted us in an odd way… I almost want to describe it as being spaced out? maybe high? who knows. He made an extremely rude comment to a boy maybe 11 walking out of the restaurant with his family who had leg braces. «Your too young to be walking with those sticks! What are you doing with them? That’s so funny» and the kid just looked at him. What kind of people are you hiring that they can’t comprehend that situation? Idk. Moving on. The negative reviews almost made us just go to the diner– but surprisingly we did enjoy our food. Everything was on point and on par with what Friday’s is besides one forgotten appetizer(that was quickly fixed) the temperature was off… a blast of freezing cold air followed by heat and back to cold again made for an unpleasant experience. The place was pretty empty, so maybe the rest of the reviews are more accurate for busy times– wasn’t necessarily true for our visit.

Once we walked upstairs we were greeted by a gentleman host who was a little off I’m not sure if he realized what he was saying or what but as these people were leaving he was telling this handicap boy he was to young to walk on sticks and needs to get rid of them. He had two crutches. I felt absolutely terrible and the little boy didn’t know what to say. I guess the hostess was trying to joke around? He had a disability! Anyway, once seated our service was actually really good. We came late Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Our waitress was quick to refill our drinks which is great because your usually waiting forever she was pretty quick. She did forget to put in a appetizer, but her service makes up for it. We all enjoyed our food, except the stale artichoke dip chips. The sesame chicken appetizer was really good, and the shrimp had to be one of the best I’ve had. My steak was also cooked how I like it very well done, and I had a extra side and my friend had a mountain of mash potatoes.

ughh i tried not to write a review for this place being that i enjoy coming here SOMETIMES. But seriously they are nowhere near attentive and if you have some place to be or your ACTUALLYHUNGRY don’t do it to yourself you’ll starve to death. I’ve waited an hour for appetizers on 4 or 5 occasions and wait over 15 – 20 for a drink every time.

This place is a serious joke! I came here the other day with two coworkers looking to take advantage of the happy hour specials. Our waiter, Marcel, approached our table and the first thing he said was ‘drinks?!’, in a very assumptive tone, then decided to say«oh and my name is Marcel.» Okay. He brings our round of margaritas with no extra garnish, specifically salt(or even sugar) on the rim… he didn’t even ask! I did however notice the salted rims of the margaritas delivered to a nice Caucasian couple across the room. Keep in mind, all three of us were minorities from different backgrounds, and two of us had on suits. He treated us as if we weren’t going to spend any money, or as if we weren’t going to pay. Anyways, after we sip the drink for a minute he comes back to the table and asks, «food?» Umm sir, we are not dogs! Our food gets there and was fine besides the lack of sauce on the wings. After waiting 15 mins for another round, we literally had to flag Marcel down for a second(garnish-less) round! TGIFriday’s…you may be an old sports bar with crappy drinks, but hire better people!

If I can leave 0 stars I would. Number one the bartender was rude and all I did was request a apple juice, the glass that she expected me to drink out of looked like she pulled it from a bus bucket. The employees look like they just got out of jail. Please save your time do not go to this establishment

Oh my goodness I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of a Friday’s before, but I walked out of this one. I stood by the door for a few minute to wait for the hostess to come to seat me and no one showed up(the restaurant was not even crowded!) I then had to walk up to the bar to look for someone to help me and the guy there just stared at me and I had to ask him«do you work here?» Then he said«sit anywhere you want.» Then I sat there for a while still waiting for someone to take my order while the restaurant BLASTED loud rap music. I waived to the waiter and they just ignored me. That was the last straw, so I walked out. I would give this place zero star. As a matter of fact, I don’t think they want any business. Note to the owner, your employees are driving customers away.

A shit-hole. An utter shit-hole. OK– so I was with a friend and it was a little late and we were a little buzzed from the bar we had left. Had no clue where to eat in this area(which is a NIGHTMARE if you’re not filthy rich!). Stumbled into here. Sat down. Ordered. 1 Small appetizer(fried something shitty), 2 sodas, 2 «Deluxe Club Bacon Turkey Subs» sounded OK, looked OK in the photo. Food got to us and looked like 2 Subway Sandwiches(NOT the FOOTLONG– more like 8 or 9 inches long !) Tasted like 2 sub-par Subway Sandwiches(OR2 average Blimpie sandwiches). BILL: $ 50.00 plus ! This is «New York Tourist Trap Food» — people who kinda stumble in there because everything else in that neighborhood looks and IS so expensive or exclusive. Every time me and my friend pass this SHITHOLE: I say : «Hey remember the night we got those $ 50.00 Blimpie sandwiches ?»

I came here over the summer out of desperation. I kept saying I’d write a review, I’ll write a review(mentally) and of course never got around to it. It’s TGI Friday’s. But this needs a review. I stepped inside because I was working in the day at the Brew Zoo Beer event in Central Park and had a two hour break before attending the actual event. Food and libations were needed after sweating and lifting heavy tables all day. TGI Friday’s is mad crowded on a friday. It doesn’t matter what time of day. I think it was like 3−4pm. Anywho, I wanted to get my drink on and started with a cheap glass of wine. It’s the way to go because after I switched to a cocktail I regretted it for the rest of the day. They advertised discounted martinis — which is straight well cheap vodka or gin in a martini glass with a lemon twist. Or in this particular case dish soap. We actually asked the waiters if they could pour grenadine into it it tasted so bad. Getting the attention of the bartenders was also a huge hassle. Even when it quieted down and emptied out within the hour we spent here, no one would pay any attention to us. The redeeming qualities however in which this turns this from a one star review to a two star review are those mozzarella sticks and boneless buffalo wings. Those are banging. Cheap and probably pre-frozen. But still delicious as hell cheap horrible for you bar food.

If I could give this«establishment» 0 of 5 stars I would! I stopped by here after a family day at the central park zoo, we were on foot and just needed a bite after an afternoon of fun. Normally I check reviews beforehand, but having been to plenty of TGI Fridays(mainly in Boston) and having always experienced good service we just went for it. Had I seen the review for this place… I’m sure I would’ve steered clear, and been happy to starve! We had a group of eight, five adults, two kids and one toddler so yes I expected there to be a wait but holy hell… we waited at least 20 min for water, the waiter started out nice but kept forgetting parts of our order, another 30 min for appetizers and nearly an hour after we’d eaten those for the entrees to come! And to top it off, the waiter over charged my brother-in-law’s credit card. When confronted about it, he lied to our faces and the manager on duty was completely ineffectual and did nothing about the excess charge. Hands down the worst TGI Friday’s I’ve ever been too!

Read all the reviews at 1 or 2 stars and it about says it all . The manager Sam could use a review course on customer relations. It was the world series friday evening… the place was EMPTY I had called in advance to make sure they were watching the game, and was told yes When I got there, SAM, the very unfriendly, unprofessional manager, didn’t even look me in the eyes when I asked him when they would put the game on. I had to ask several times. REALLY? I felt like I was in his living room. It was beyond ridiculous. I told him I was going to write a review and asked him his name, but he wouldn’t tell me! He was too busy flirting with the two bartenders. HAHA what a joke! I guess after reading so many poor reviews, that location has such low standards, that SAM and his nasty attitude is probably status quo

Friday’s was always favorite chain restaurant when I lived in other States. Since I’ve lived here a long time I have to agree it is now two stars at most. The first real turning point for me was the time I ordered an ice cream dish for desert and was given a fork. I couldn’t get the waiters attention to get a spoon. It was hard eating it with a fork. When I told him finally, he responded so ignorant I was amazed. The next visit I got the same desert and by the time I got it it was melted. Very disappointing. I tried to go at lunchtime one day because it was more in line with my out of work budget. They charged extra for everything. It’s almost like they were asking«would you like a place setting with that or eat off the table.» Only kidding. To sum up my last few visits to this Friday’s or any other one in the city, I don’t go any more. I do still crave the Oreo cookie desert. I may just go in for desert only and see if it comes frozen and with a spoon!

«Just know what to expect» Came here more as a joke than serious dining/drinking. Who likes going to chain restaurants in NYC? The place was somewhat empty on a friday night but for some reason the service was kind of a struggle. The main bartender kind of gave a bit of an attitude when I asked for a modification to one of my beverages. I will say that the bbq chicken flatbread was pretty tasty and low on calories… Compared to the rest of the things on the menu. Come here for a a quick drink and keep it moving.
