Hilarious! Glad my wife and I attended for our 1 yr wedding anniversary. We spent the whole night laughing. There was some crowd interaction and improv. Well done!

This show was very flat. The actor definitely tried and gave it every effort but the material was monotonous, predictable and just plain boring. The worst part was it was impossible to escape due to the theatre being very small and a lack of intermission.

The show was awesome and so funny. Even though I’m an 80’s baby, I def recognized a lot of the references and it made me so happy. Great night!

Went this past Saturday night with my wife and 2 adult children. We laughed the entire time. Very small theater made it even better. Andrew got the crowd involved at times which only enhanced the show. Can’t wait to tell my friends to go see it also. It was so funny my cheeks hurt.

My girlfriend and I went to the Friday night late show. We enjoyed every second of it, everything from the perverted puns, to the ambiance of the theater itself. My girlfriend and I really felt like we got to see an actor who was daring enough to show himself on the stage with nothing but pure honesty (no pun intended). Andrew did a great job at engaging with the crowd through every bit. He did this with a high energy no hold bar attitude. We really appreciated how he gave it a 110%, every second he was up on that stage. All in all the show was hilarious and at times Andrew also told us of a heartfelt story of his life.
The theater itself was very welcoming and cozy, nothing intimidating like other live theater places we’ve been to. I definitely recommend this show, just make sure you don’t take any kids. Enjoy!

I attended the show last night and was cracking up full of laughter. I mean this one man show was more than enough off Broadway I could use. It was so much fun and very interactive. The theater is small and intimate. You have to go there with an open mind. Get there early so you’re not stuck in the back or a late comer that disrupts the show. The show gets serious and you can see the show for what it truly is. I won’t spoil it.

Funny show Andrew is engaging with the audience and really really funny don’t miss the show like Tony the Tiger says it’s great!!! See the show and. you will understand the reference

What an amazing show. Laughed almost the entire show. Great job for a one man show. The theater effects and techs were just as funny. Must see!!!

Saw it this weekend, loved it! It was clever, dirty and very funny. Perfect way to spend a Saturday in the city.

I just didn’t think it was funny. The jokes fell flat to my friend and me. I could tell the actor is giving his 100% though.

I saw Accidental Pervert on Friday night, it was hilarious! The interaction with the audience enhances the experience by making Andrew relatable and not just a dirty little pervert. Andrew engages everyone in the audience bringing us into his room during the different stages of his life. The ending was great! Andrew ties it all together in a very endearing way. I would definitely go see it again.

Simply hilarious! They tell you at the very beginning the more engaged you are as an audience member, the better the experience, and that’s exactly how the show works. Of course don’t over do it, it is his show after all. Andrew does a great job of telling us his story in this one man show, making tons of 80s and 90s references that make you reminisce. The setting is very intimate, up close and personal, therefore be prepared to become a part of his journey. No prudes allowed.

As the other negative reviews have said, this show was incredibly disappointing. The jokes consisted mainly of a slew of lame puns (e.g. «The Sperminator», «Cherry Poppins», «Chitty Chitty Gang Bang») and the familiar tropes of men and masturbation, porn, etc., complete with goofy sound effects. The humor was not witty, and not even low-​brow in a good way. There were also some racist stereotypes, and of course jokes making fun of fat people that were cringe-​worthy.
It was all quite formulaic and not very compelling. The whole realization that women are people and not sex objects (wow, congratulations!) came through getting married and having a daughter. The old «this is someone’s daughter» revelation, in which a woman is only valuable because a man somewhere values her. Sigh…
All in all, it felt very self-​congratulatory, stereotypical, and disappointing. I feel a bit bad writing this, as the actor seems like a generally nice guy, and was clearly giving his all for the performance. There were people in the audience laughing (mostly older men), so I am sure it does have some appeal to a certain crowd. If you thought the porn monster from Avenue Q was hilarious, you just may enjoy this show. He had a couple funny moments, but not enough to make my discounted tickets worth it, and certainly not worth the full $ 49 price tag.

Went with my wife to check out the Accidental Pervert show. Worth every penny. The theater is small and cozy, the actor did a phenomenal job. Definitely put this on your list of shows to check out. Don’t pay any mind to the sour apples that gave the show a bad review. As long as you’re open minded and don’t have a silver spoon up your ass, you will love this show. The venue also has a little bar area for you to get a quick drink before the show. We would come back in a heartbeat. Keep up the great work guys!

I got my tickets for this show for free on UpOut NY. There were a lot of events I could choose from, but I chose this based on all the positive (and hugely misleading) reviews here on Unilocal.
Unfortunately I bothered to read the negative reviews only after having seen the show, and guess what? Every single word of them is true, I don’t even have much to add to what’s already been said. Yes, the material could have been *immeasurably* funnier and raunchier. Yes, the positive reviews must have been written by the actors’ personal friends and family. Yes, all he got from our audience was a few pity laughs here and there. Yes, some people actually left *during the show*.
And I notice somebody already mentioned that Andrew Goffman is too old to be playing this character — this did indeed bother me throughout the performance. And I am not saying this because of the obvious varicose veins on his strangely hairless legs, I am saying this because the timeline of his story simply does not add up. For instance, he mentions that his daughter is 11 months old — and… well, okay, lots of people nowadays have children late in life. However, he also mentions that he knew nothing about relationships at the time he first met his wife, so the question that naturally arises is, «Were you two together for 25 years or something before you had the baby??»
Honestly, when he greeted us in the lobby afterward for the photo-​ops and stuff, the only question I was itching to ask was, «Is your daughter 11 months old NOW, or, like, 20 years ago??»
He doesn’t succeed in anything he set out to accomplish with this endeavor. The show did not entertain, it didn’t make us laugh (he actually commented repeatedly throughout his performance what a quiet audience we were), some of the audience participation bits were obviously hugely awkward for the participants (and simply unfunny). The parts of the story that were supposed to be emotionally touching also failed pretty miserably.
So, peeps, for your own sake, pay attention to the negative reviews! I didn’t, and, even though, as I mentioned above, my tickets were free, the thought that occurred to me repeatedly during the show was, «You get what you pay for…» Had I known the positive reviews on here were not to be trusted, I would have claimed tickets for something else instead.
I give this show a 4 out of 10, and that’s being generous.
P. S.: It was also absolutely freezing inside the theater. I intended to leave my coat on a hanger outside before I entered, but one of the theater employees told me to keep it with me because it was «chilly» inside. Good thing he did, since «chilly» was a huge understatement. Not only did I have to cover myself with my coat like a blanket, I actually had to cover half of my face as well — the tip of my nose was seriously cold! It was maybe 50 degrees inside, and I did wonder how AG performed the entire show in his underwear.

My three friends and I went to see the show last night as part of a 50^th birthday celebration. We had an awesome time thanks to Andrew Goffman incorporating my friend, Peggy into the show. The show is very cute and funny. Very entertaining. Goffman puts a lot of effort into the show and the staff there do a good job. The theater is very small, but comfortable. It is well worth the price of admission.

I think it is definitely a show that would be worth watching if there were some tweaks made.
First, I didn’t really think it was that funny. Most of the time, it was awkward humor, but hey, don’t take my word on whether it was funny or not, since we all laugh at different things. There were some parts that I actually thought was funny, but those parts were small in quantity.
Second, the actor tends to improvise a lot, and I don’t know if that was part of the show or not, but there was a loud radiator sound in which the actor actually left the stage to find some guy to see if he could fix it. I also didn’t like the acting very much.
Third, the theater is very small and rustic, but I thought it was very comfortable and intimate.
Overall, it was an OK experience.

This show is amazing and hilarious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during a show before. Despite the appearance of the theater, it is impressive how well put together it is for a one-​man show. The actor is brilliant and interacts with the audience.
(please don’t bring your kids)

Boy I had no idea what I was getting into by attending this show.
You will be in for some XXX comedy. This show is not for the prudish!
A one man show Andrew did an awesome job of keeping me entertained.
The show was quite interactive, improvised at times, and had it’s off the script moments when he felt he wanted to tell a story, lol. There were some late comers to the show and Andrew made it known by pointing them out and jokingly references the ‘late cummers’ throughout the show. When someone sneezed he said Bless
You and then tossed some of his «used» prop Kleenex tissue to the lady in the audience. I had a pleasure of being picked on during the show due to the fact I was sitting front row. So beware for those who are sitting in the front row. There were times I thought I would be seeing some real «Frank and Beans» due to the fact of me being so up close to the stage and the ample spacing between his thighs and boxers, it was quite roomy.
At the end of the show we got to take pictures with him and he gave us a little background about the play how it’s actually based on reality of his life, but just the names were changed.
I enjoyed the show very much and would definitely recommend anyone seeing this!

A classic example of how one artist can pull such a great show. I had no idea this show would be so much fun. Came here the other day as part of the Unilocal viewing.
Andrew did a great job and carried the whole show on his shouldres, involved the audience. The best part was he improvised and made some on the spot jokes which made this show stand more apart as compared to the other shows.
The plot basically revolves around this guy and how porn becomes a big part of his life. It talks about his fantasies and how ends up being a family person after being involved with porn for such a long time.
Andrew’s on the spot improvisation made all the audience crack up so many times. After the show we were able to talk to Andrew and take some pictures.
Definitely recommend this show to all the avid lovers of broadway!
