The Crafted Cookie

I was pretty excited about getting some Whoopie Pies from them! The box and packing were awesome! However, when I actually opened up the whoopie pie sampler, they put about ¹⁄₁₆^th of an inch worth of crème in the whoopie pies. If that. The picture on their site has about 5x more crème in them. Incredibly disappointing. 1 ½ stars for this place.

I ordered a gift package for my hubby for Valentine’s but it didn’t make it… When I called to check, there was a glitch in their website in using the Ideeli voucher I purchased. As I have had problems with ideeli in the past, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The staff went above and beyond to make things right with major apologies about missing the 14^th.
The cookies themselves were of terrific quality. You can choose the exotic flavors, or the impeccably decorated ones (or in my case, both). The packaging is gorgeous. I would not hesitate to order from these guys again for gifts and special occasions. (They easily beat my old standby of Eleni’s for decorated goodies!) My tip: call and place your order instead of relying on the web.

Was picking up lunch at the Between the Bread storefront and noticed they have a new bakery business called Cookie Panache. Decided to pick up an assortment of cookies and brownies for the office, but was a little put off to learn that all orders were for next day delivery and not same day pick up. The free delivery in Manhattan sold me and I went ahead with my order. Let me tell you, the wait was well worth it. The cookies were absolutely delicious and I especially loved the brownies. Honestly probably the best brownies I have ever had in my life. Within 2 minuets, word had spread so fast in the office I had a mob around my desk and all the cookies were gone. I definitely recommend.
