Lots of table, lots of screens, beer no cocktails and good vibe. They always broadcast the major soccer games. This place is in front of the Empire State, its located in the basement. The outside would say Legends Bar, just go in and then take the steps to the basement.

Ever since my previous go-to soccer bar(Smithfield) let me down I’ve been on the hunt for a new home — and it seems like The Football Factory is it! The basement pub is located on the lower level of Legends sports bar, which in its entirety is huge! The Football Factory almost acts as a stand alone establishment, with it’s own bar, food service, and bathrooms(though I think the food menu is the same). The place is big, with plenty of standing room but seating is limited to a dozen or so high-top tables placed on either end. TVs are everywhere so regardless of where you stand/sit, you’ll be able to see. Came here to watch the Germany v. England international friendly but the pub claims to show pretty much every soccer match you could want — EPL, FA Cup, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga, Futbol de Argentina, Campeanto Brazil, UEFA Chamions League, Europa League, MLS, and all USMNT matches. Plus it is home to the England Supports Club USA — so it’s sure to be a lively place to watch any England MNT games. I would imagine that on weekends(where some league/cup games overlap) that it could get pretty crowded and they have to prioritize what game are shown. Will go again and report back!

When the pundits in 2020 look back on the growth of Soccer fandom in the USA, the Football Factory will be a historic landmark. Located in the basement of Legends, FF is my home every weekend during the Premier League. Jack is always ready to go and the beers are great. You’ll never have to wait long for a pint. I’ve ordered a full Irish Breakfast one morning and it hit the spot, the perfect way to start your day. Other reviews call this place a sports bar, but FF is more than that, it’s a meeting house of soccer tribes from around the globe.

So disappointed last night in the bus trip. Bus was very late, no recognition of that fact once we did get on the bus, no apology just get on the bus. Once on the bus someone asked the person if we would get to the match by kickoff(which was impossible at that point) and he sad we should get there without a problem. Yes there was unavoidable traffic but even if there wasn’t, just the general day to day traffic into Jersey would not have afforded us a chance to make it in time but I am sure we would have made it before half time. Then the warm coors light, I mean the trip is basically organized through a bar, you cant even get garbage bags filled with ice? Really bad first experience, I mean how it could it not be when you spend more time in a bus than at the game, and I am not sure if I have it in me to withstand a second one.

Went Went to the football Factory on Sunday as it was across the street from the Empire state building and as my mom wanted to watch the man city game before we hit the Empire state. All in all the experience was good there was just a few things if worked on would make this an outstanding New York bar. Firstly the place isn’t called The Football Factory, well it is apparently but outside it’s got legends above the door, this is seriously confusing pick a name you guys! I ordered a raspberry vodka and cranberry juice great measures and my mom ordered a Heineken that was the perfect ice cold temp ud want during a game. Later I ordered the tomato and mozzarella cheese bruschetta and the mozzarella sticks. The bruschette was amazing and quite honestly I wish we’d ordered more I couldn’t get enough the mozzarella sticks were piping hot and crispy… after our trip to the Empire state building we decided to go back a compliment in itself for New York. this time we decided to sit upstairs, and this is where it went down hill. Every round of drinks took 10 to 15 minutes waving frantically at the bar staff. It felt like if you didn’t know a bartender’s name they weren’t interested. no matter, the measures we still good so we decided to order dinner. we ordered and shared the chicken curry with a side of fries. again the food was faultless. I’d defo be back in fact I believe my football fanatic mom is insisting we go back again on Sat for the next man city game

Oh how I love this place! Best bartender in the city(love ya Jack!) Great atmosphere — I am a football(soccer) lover — great banter, meet some great people. If you are in NYC during football season and want to catch a game(or games) this is the place to come — fans of all different teams meet up here early on Saturday and Sundays! But get here early, as there is limited seating! And very important for the ladies — exceptionally clean toilets! In the shadow of the Empire State… but never overshadowed by another sports bar establishment!

The thing about pubs and sports bars is that they tend to be alike, and this one is no exception. It’s located in mid town and is sort of a touristy-ques pub. I went there on a Sat afternoon for a Barcelona match. The bar was empty and the waitress had no problem showing the FCB game for us. This was a week before the Champions league final and the manager told me that for the final, to get there at least 3 – 4 hrs early. Good to know. I had a hamburger and a few Guinness, the burger was fine, usual pub burger. Service was good and it looks like this is the LSU bar in NYC, good to know.

Best place to come for soccer games if you are near the 33rd st path station. They broadcast games from all the leagues around the world and this time around is the COPAAMERICA.

Excellent place to watch UEFA Champions league games, or any other leagues for that matter. Plenty of beers/drinks to choose from and an atmosphere that is second to no one. Highly recommend this place to any soccer fan. This place is Brat Approved

A fantastic place to see the champions league or any game for that matter! Fills up quick with die hards and regulars alike, and gives you added drama of the whole crowd reacting to each play. Really great way to experience the game, lots of supporters hangout there. Tons of TVs and decent beer. The cons I could think of would be, the speakers clash when there are a few games going on at once, can make it hard to hear. Some tables are directly under speakers, which is annoying. The service to get drinks is kinda slow. Over all, a good place to enjoy the drama of the match with others. Just get drinks before start time, because its crazy busy once it starts.

Great soccer pub. We stumbled upon this spot, using Unilocal to find a place to watch the Man U FA cup match yesterday. Multiple tvs and a great sound system. Bartender is great and works his ass off to make sure the patrons are happy. Clean bathrooms, good beer prices, and a bunch of real soccer(futbol) fans. I can only imagine how great this place was for the World Cup.

My boyfriend and I were visiting from Portland, Oregon and are Timbers fans. We came here to watch a Timbers game during our stay in NYC, and the bar did not disappoint! The atmosphere was authentic and awesome for soccer lovers, with scarfs for so many teams hanging on the walls. The bartenders organized sections downstairs for different fans to watch different games at the same time, and made sure we had the MLS game going in our section. The Irish bartender was friendly, too! Depending on what game you come to watch, it gets crazy packed until the next game is on and some people clear out. Overall, an awesome sports bar with great food.

The Football Factory feels kind of like an FAO Schwartz for footy fans, were FAO Schwartz located in a dark basement sprinkled with TVs on every wall. There’s something for everyone. Jack, a very friendly, fast moving, and loquacious Irish barman can get any game you wish to watch on the box, and by virtue of that there is a very international crowd in this glorified man cave on big game days. Due to that, however, the FF lacks a bit of identity. It chooses to be more of a one stop pub for fans of every team, rather than an association linked to one or two storied teams. Don’t get me wrong; if what you’re after is a place to zone in on the game and have a pint of fresh, then the FF is fine. You just won’t find the regulars and the history that give a great bar its character. And in a city where amazing food abounds, it’s a disappointment to see the same old tired bar food coming out of the kitchen. Really, this unimaginative place could be anywhere in middle America, except for the international clientele popping in to watch their team.

Pretty good soccer pub downstairs at Legends. I still prefer O’Caseys and Smithfield, but I definitely liked this place better than Blind Pig(enemy territory for Tottenham fans). THere’s a much better balance of fan leanings here. TIP: For early mornings EPL games, there seems to be plenty of room above on the main floor to sit down and enjoy your meal, but all the atmosphere is downstairs. During the recent NL Derby, there were plenty of Arsenal goons, mostly harmless(though one appeared to be both drunk AND high at 11AMEST, and kept badgering others every time he would stir from his stupor), as well as a Kurt Vonnegut lookalike. Generally the fans totally coexisted with a nerdier contingent of Spurs fans(well behaved, OFCOURSE). The bartender was awesomely and authentically Irish, served me a crisp pint of Warsteiner, moments later a plate of baked beans topped with toast and gooey egg on top(pretty good), and called me guv’nah when I was paying my tab. You can’t ask for much more. One downside: the beer selection seemed lamer than the average Irish sports pub in 2013NYC. Come on guys, you’re way behind.
