The Future Perfect

This store is amazing! So many interesting pieces by inventive and talented designers. The two gentlemen working at the time we came in (I only caught one’s name, Peter) were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
If you are ever looking for a unique piece to add character to a space or are simply looking for a beautiful showroom to inspire, I recommend swinging by The Future Perfect.

Was on my way to dinner and stopped in here to change out of my rollerblades. Yea I know good reason, but they had plenty of chairs and what better place to stop and take off your skates. Actually I stopped in here to watch some guy shave off the finish of a table with a palate knife. Elevated on a platform he was working hard. So I sat down on the couch in the front and started playing with a wooden coffee table that had a lazysusan built out of roller skate chassis and glass; It was innoventive to say the least.
I was shocked by how comfortable the couch was and just as I looked up a guy approached and asked if he could help me, he was super sweet. While I was sitting there on the couch I looked up the store on Unilocal and saw that they only had one review with one star, and how I figured they had moved from Brooklyn since that location
had all pretty good reviews.
The guy who came up to me seemed pleased that I liked their crazy table, and told me that they were having a cocktail reception the following day. He told me to invite friends and stop on by. The artist who was working on the tables was prepping them for the reception, apparently it was to display his work. Unfortunately I was busy working and couldn’t make it to the reception, but had to post something on here to say how sweet everyone there was because I don’t think they deserve to only have one star. Though I could see how someone would be upset that their wall clock didn’t arrive after quite an extended period (without and offer for a refund) but custom is custom, and sometimes custom takes time.
