Simply phenomenal. You can’t get better food anywhere else.

This is absolutely the best lunch spot in the Bronx. Everything I’ve had there has been so delicious. The food is fresh and they have healthy options. Definitely beats eating at any fast good place. You should call ahead to order because the food is freshly prepared. Plenty of room to dine in. You have to try this, I promise you will not be disappointed. The average price of a lunch is about 6 – 7 dollars and the portions are very satisfying.

One of the best surprises in the South Bronx is the Cuban Sandwich at the Café. It is all I have had there, but my understanding is that this place is an award winning caterer too. Either way, try it out… it’s hidden away at the The Point CDC, so finding it requires finding the CDC and then making sure sure you get there while it is open during the day. I think they close on weekends. But it’s one of the BEST Cuban Sandwiches I’ve ever had and I am Cuban.

Grabbed lunch from here yesterday. It can be confusing to get to, if you don’t know where it is. It is literally housed inside the point cdc, a local non profit. You have to enter the black gates on the side street not garrison, enter the building and turn right once inside.
The food is really good and tons of healthy options which is not common in the area. This is truly a hidden gem. They have really good burgers, sandwiches and quesadillas. Yesterday I ordered a veggie wrap which was so good. It had all sorts of veggies + avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and this really yummy creamy dressing. I enjoyed it. Can’t beat that for 5 bucks.
My Co workers had the grilled chicken wrap ($ 5) and another had the chicken stir fry with brown rice (very generous serving for $ 6) and both loved it. I would definetly recommend for the price, quality and quantity. A good lunch place if you live or work in the area, wouldn’t come just from Jersey for it though.
