I’ve been going to Equinox Spa on 63rd and Lex for quite a few years now and I always go to see Stephen. He is hands down the best masseuse this city has the fortune of housing. This coming from someone who has sampled numerous spas in the city (especially during spaweek!). Stephen’s skill is in manipulating your muscles in just the right way to make all the tension melt away. He always asks if the pressure is good and also if there are any areas to focus on or avoid. Also, he’s super funny — I actually look forward to our chats but on those days when I just need a little quiet, he just seems to know. Very professional and superbly skillful! I would never go anywhere else.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now to get my eyebrows done. Didina is really great at what she does and she’s always pleasant to chat with. Beyond that, the atmosphere here is exceedingly pleasant and relaxed. Perfect for getting a massage or facial or whatever.

If your looking for an ultra-​high end gucci spa this might not be the place for you. If your looking for an awesome deep tissue treatment from someone with the right level of acumen, experience and magic touch… I highly recommend Lena for a deep tissue massage. That tension, tightness in your neck and shoulder… well forget about it. Enjoy!
