Appalling irresponsibility! On February 26, I left a small package for delivery to a private home close by. On April 28, the shop called to say that my package had been returned to them on February 29th and had sat on their shelves for two months. They claimed they had called me once in February without reaching my answering machine. Should I want to have the package delivered, they insisted, I would have to pay the full costs a second time. It did not matter that the recipient’s telephone number had been prominently displayed on the order form or that my friends didn’t recall any notice of a failed delivery posted in their hallway.
This store dishonors the UPS reputation.

Take a look at how nicely my package was treated. It was rescheduled three times and called twice to make sure it would arrive at my location. It came two weeks late and in this condition. The store hours need to be extended to more convenient evening hours if they prefer customers to pick up packages.

I am not sure what is wrong with this particular UPS store but it is not representative of the other UPS store locations.
Because this location is the closest one to my apartment, I gave it several chances and was uniformly disappointed.
The notary is never there.
On a visit to the store today 7÷11÷15 a guy screwed up a project I paid for, despite me being the only one in the store, no pressure.
He seemed more focused on sexually harassing his female coworker and spent about 20 seconds on my documents. When I called out his errors on my project, he repeatedly asserted that it was disrespectful to criticize his work and he wouldn’t tolerate anyone complaining about it.
You rarely find this particularly emboldened type of laziness and inept outside of social welfare housing situations.
Go to the post office on Columbus, the UPS store on 72nd instead, or the FedEx store at Columbus circle instead.

Quick and efficient service, but the guy behind the counter and I had a weird exchange. He gave me a receipt, and I wasn’t sure the transaction was finished, what with the envelope not being sealed or labeled. He looked at me, and I looked at him. He threw something away. Then asked the man behind me if he needed anything else. «Are we done?» I asked. «Yes,» he replied. It was awkward.
