Awesome food here. Was super surprised at how flavorful and tasty everything was. Prices weren’t bad either. Get the Beef/w Cumin Seeds and the Fried Pork W/Sweet-sour Sauce and you will not be disappointed.

What the fuck, so expensive. Please go to other restaurants. Don’t go into this fucking place.

On this cold, blustery day, I wanted Hot & Sour soup, white rice, and to be left alone. Tian Fu Lou provided all three. The staff was unattentive. I made more trips to them than they to me. The soup was enjoyable, the white rice sticky as it should be. No frills, but a true slice of China in my opinion.

READTHIS!!! If you are outside of this restaurant! Please turn around and pick something else!!! This would be the worst ever dining experience in my life!!! We ordered four dishes and only the sea same chicken was sort of eatable. Others were just like sh*t! OMGi just cannot believe how does this place survive in the midtown where full of great restaurant. It was not cheap at all also!!! Do not ever go there!!!‘n

I intended to go to Xian famous food but bumped into this place and the food is terrible. The worst experience ever! It’s worse than my own cooking. I should have checked Unilocal. The noodle is $ 10. Plain and not at all authentic. Terrible!

We went for Xian’s famous food, and saw this one around. It is very spacious, although very few people dining in. We decided to give it a try as we want to rest our feet a bit. We really should have check Unilocal before entering. The food quality is below average in compare to what you can get at NYC. Rice is very CHEWY and two small bowls cost us $ 2.5. I thought it suppose to be free until checking the bill. Tip was added in the bill, so you can’t change it if you are not happy with their service. I think the owner made a smart decision to open a restaurant like this next to Xian’s famous food and can get all the customers who need somewhere to rest their feet.

Decided to try this place because all the places we wanted to go to just closed on that street & we were tired & hungry. Worst decision ever. The staff was very unfriendly & they don’t seem to have any frills what so ever. Had to ask several times for spoons & bowl. Finally got a styrofoam bowl & plastic spoon, they won’t give you a glass of water only bottled water for sale. The xiao long bao were horrible. I ate 2& thought they tasted a little strange so asked my husband to try one. He actually spitted it out of his mouth & into his foam bowl, which totally grossed me out! haha Would have been way better off grabbing something off of a street cart rather than eating here.

My worst dining experience ever. Ever. One waitress was super rude and impatient. She told us to wait outside but seated other guests who came later than us and clearly didn’t have a reservation. When we asked her about it, she just told us they were a bigger group than us(4 vs. 3). Then we waited forever to get the menu and tea. Eventually, we had to request 3 times to finally get served. The food itself? Ugh. Soggy noodles with hairs floating in the soup. I just don’t understand how could they make a simple dish so terrible. That requires effort and talent. BTW, they changed the noodles my friend ordered without informing us in advance. Biggest mistake after Christmas.
