THESE GUYS SUCK!!!
I purchased tickets for the annual Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular. There was a promotion this weekend — buy one, get one free. Yet, when I entered the voucher code, my credit card was automatically charged WITHOUT the offer.
I immediately called Ticketmaster and a lovely representative helped to cancel the previous order and then apply the special. However, Ticketmaster managed to charge a higher price for the exact same seats, at the exact same time and date of my first botched purchase.
I then dealt with a ASSistant supervisor who artfully kept me on hold for the greater part of an hour and a half. Interestingly, the, what they call «superior supervisor» («Tony»), said that the promoter can arbitrarily increase the ticket price without notice. I pointed out that «like» tickets in my direct seating area were still $ 79 per seat and not $ 90. Sounds like Ticketmaster is making up their own prices…
This is a racket and I lodged a complaint with my credit card company and they not only apologized for the blundering «George» and «Tony,» but will dispute the charge once it is posted.
