Extremely pricey and rude! From the guy in the Deli to the cashiers. Customer service means nothing to this establishment. Save your money and walk a few blocks up, you’ll be thankful you did.

Friendly cashier. I enjoyed a hearty lentil soup that warmed my heart. The have many snacks, drinks, and sundry items in addition to soups and sandwiches.

My ham and brie sandwich was great. Huge selection of food to go they have here. Convenient location for sure.

In search of some where to get a quick breakfast and staying just down the road at a hotel we decided to pop in here. It’s a full convenience store and deli counter. They serve a good variety of breakfast items including full hot breakfasts, french toast, omlettes/eggs, sandwiches, bagels, croissants, fruits, yogurt, cereal, and hot and cold beverages. They have show plates of breakfasts they offer so you can actually see what your going to get. They also have a ton of seating in the back. There was a line up of about 6 people but it was moving pretty fast. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant. It was surprisingly really good. The cheese was soo goeey and melted perfectly, the thick cut ham was fresh and flavourful, and the croissant was super toasty and buttery. Hubby got the full breakfast which included hash browns, 2 eggs, a ton of bacon, and 2 slices of Texas toast. He thoroughly enjoyed it and was surprised by how generous they were with the bacon. The guys behind the counter were friendly and nice. The place is soo affordable my croissant was only $ 4.95 and his full breakfast was $ 5.95. My only regret was I wished I discovered this sooner or else we would have come here everyday for breakfast!

I’ve always had good luck here. It’s my «I don’t know where to go for lunch» place. If you demand courteous service with a smile, this probably isn’t your dream location. But the food is good, the service pretty quick, and the portions hearty. Often I can split the lunch wraps and eat for two days. I generally go for something in the chicken cutlet family, and things are always fresh. It’s a bit pricey as to be expected in Times Square, but not insanely so.

I’m staying at a hotel a few doors down and have walked over for supplies daily. Very pricey but it’s Manhattan and I get it. What’s absolutely not acceptable is this snot nose 5 foot nothing 20 something year old Chinese(I think!) guy’s attitude. I’d met the older guy yesterday, but if this is his son or his grandson, I feel sorry for him.

We were in NYC last weekend for some pre holiday shopping, stayed at the Hotel Mela on this same block. This place was awesome. In Orlando if we had these type neighborhood stores more it would be amazing. We had bagels and coffee here two mornings. We stopped in for other things as well during our trip. The place is clean, the food is great and there was always some good music playing which we thought was great too. If you are staying in TSq this place is perfect when you are on the go. And if I didn’t say it already it is cheap!

Extremely rude and poor service from the guy in the deli. Below average product. Avoid at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere.

1st breakfast meal I had in NY and it didn’t disappoint. They have a grill area where u can order breakfast omelettes, sandwiches, bagels. For drinks they have coffee and any bottles beverage u like.

I came in twice once at night and once this morning! Both times we couldnt get any sandwiches made or any breakfast! Maybe they were racist, they let the people in front of us get a sandwich but once if was our turn they apparently werent serving any more! Wtf! Plus everything is over priced and not pleasant looking! Weak costumer service! Never again

A decent place for a quick beer and sandwich, also features a mini grocery store, a Lilliputian version of WallMart. My sandwich order, chicken salad was decent, although the chicken was tough and chewey. Not too tasty, but then again, I shoulda ordered the Genoa Salami, it looked better.

Not bad. All we got were bagels with cream cheese. They were pretty slow getting the bagels done because I noticed the guy had to keep feeding the bagels through the toaster, so it took a while. Once we got them, they were pretty good.

This place had the most amazing BLT sandwich. It was really clean inside and tons of different kinds of chips, sides and beverages to chose from. I had no problem with the service or the people being rude. I got the total opposite!

I wish I could give zero stars. – Dude at the grill is RUDE as f***, – he is incredibly SLOW — seemed to be moving backwards, – selection sucks — compare to ANY other deli in the area — I suggest Starlight on the next block — 44th between 7th&8th, – the food I got(chicken salad) WASSPOILED!!!, – the cashier was also incredibly RUDE, and – the cashier seemed to be in a contest with the grill guy to see who could move more SLOWLY. 0 for 6 in qualities you want in a deli.

Awful service at the cashier; the woman at the register was rude. Twice. The food was not good. I ordered the Philly cheese steak; barely any cheese. My children got the meatball subs, and regretted it immediately. Expensive too! Avoid this place

Although this place has its issues, the food is solid. Plus, the ham, egg and cheese crossaint might be one of the most delicious things I’ve ever shoved in my piehole.

If you are looking for this place to be Carnegie Deli-you will be disappointed however, if you are looking for a market type deli, this place is a gem. The hot food counter is great for the money. My wife and I got Croissant breakfast sandwiches for 2.75 we loved. Their prepared buffet style food in the back is far better than some of the more glitzy delis on 7th Ave. You can get a great muffin for 2 bucks. If you want atmosphere and a big price tag, go somewhere else. Great food for a good value-COME HERE.

The Times Deli, located right in Times Square, was our choice because we were hungry and needed somewhere to duck into. The selection of food inside was quite expansive. There was a hot buffet in the back but there was nobody partaking in it… for good reason. That food looked like death warmed over. My wife braved it and got a salad from back there, which she later described as «possibly sour dressing» and it just tasted«suspect». I got a standard turkey sandwich and that was, for the most part, decent. The price was pretty good, but we were not really too impressed with our food. It filled our stomachs and maybe slightly grossed us out. There has to be better places in Times Square.
