This store represents some of the best independent designers in NY. It’s well curated with unique & quality labels. The staff is friendly and informative. This is my favorite shop in Dumbo!

Pricey boutique but the uniqueness of the merchandise makes it worth it. My fav designer is Radka– not surprisingly b/c her jewelry design is inspired by knit and crochet and I’m an avid knitter. The great part about working with local artists is that you can order something customized, which is what I did.

Randomly stopped by yesterday when the gorgeous chunky sweaters in the window caught my eye. I can’t believe I haven’t seen this«off the beaten path» store before now. I didn’t buy anything, but am going back for the lambswool neck warmer and fingerless gloves in two-tone color block color selection. I especially liked the kitschy Cat in the Hat covered journal hidden away in the back and I didn’t even get a chance to look at the jewelry because I was in a hurry, but what I saw was beautiful. Make sure you catch the sale rack in the back, because the designer stuff at a discount is a real find.

Absolutely LOVE this store! The designers are so unique — the quality is great and everyone who works there is super helpful and doesn’t just push their own line. In an age of mass produced, generic clothing stores, it’s wonderful to be able to support these designers!

Overall the prices are pretty steep,($ 300 for a dress) but the designers do need to get paid for their work and the clothes are absolutely works of art. That being said, you can find some steals if you go during a sale!

I randomly stopped by this joint today – mostly because I was in the hood picking up some craigslist goodies. Couldn’t help but be tempted to walk in! The space is really open and I love the amazing furniture finds scattered around the place. The girl that works there was really prompt about cheerily greeting me, too. She wasn’t at all pushy or hovering(ugh, the worst), and as I walked out she practically yelled a farewell to make sure I heard it before i left. The clothing itself isn’t really my taste – definitely a little quirky and with interesting cuts and patterns. I could see how it would be popular with people who are into that style!

This place is great. There is a cool selection of dresses, skirts, t-shirts, jackets, and accessories from a number of local designers, as well as a changing selection of art from local artists. Each designer has her own unique aesthetic, so some things are very simple and clean lined and others more conceptual, but they all come together in a coherent whole and are surprisingly wearable. The staff is always friendly but happy to leave you alone to browse if you prefer.

Distinctive cuts, delicious fabrics, fair prices and the friendliest staff in Brooklyn! I love the play between the fresh, wearable clothing designs and the funky furniture finds. There is plenty of AWESOME jewelry too, as well as hats, cards, and other accessories. AND men’s stuff, including great ties and sweaters. AND the shop space itself is beautiful, with that rad central fabric«tree.» I especially love that most every designer(or actually every designer?) is a Brooklyn-based talent. So shop and Trunk and end the omg-we’re-wearing-the-same-thing madness!!!
