Very wonderful service — they carry a ton of stuff and make it really easy for both in-​store and delivery. I needed a couple items that were out of stock and they shipped it to me free of charge as soon as they had it.

If your really sick and you need a helping hand. This is the place for you. I had cancer and they put me on a protocol that really helped me. These guys are the real deal. Dave is the owner but any one up front will steer you right.

We’ve been using this pharmacy for a few years now, and these guys are the best. Very kind, very knowledgeable, but most of all that work hard and quickly. We live on the upper west side and they deliver prescriptions to us even though it’s such a schlep. They (literally) go out of their way to help their customers.
Plus, it’s a group of young, handsome men, what’s not to love.

I see why these guys have such great reviews. Was in a bit of a situation with supplements not being delivered to a patient in a timely manner and they literally saved the day by 1. Having the supplements in stock 2. Working with me to pay by credit card and have everything prepped for a messenger delivery and 3. Being super friendly.

This the best pharmacy I’ve ever been to, hands down! The staff is very fun and friendly, and they’ve given me tips about my medication that even doctors have failed to mention. They remember me each time and are so friendly.
Vitahealth sells a wide array of supplements, but despite the many brands offered, they have never once pushed a sale – in fact, they always recommend what they think will be best for me, even if that means not buying it! That kind of honesty goes a long way, and their incredible knowledge of alternative medicine as well as prescriptions is something I totally trust.
The pharmacist is VERY fast, usually requiring less than 5 minutes to fill any prescription. Even on a busy day, he gets it done. I’ve been to other pharmacies, even big ones, that have not had the medication I’ve needed in stock, yet somehow these guys always have everything. To me that shows excellent management and preparedness.
Another small but important point is that the store’s interior is actually very beautiful, with nice woodwork and warm colors – if you compare that to Duane Reade or another big chain with the glaring fluorescent lights, it’s a huge breath of fresh air.
I would highly recommend Vitahealth to anyone – it’s a way better experience than your local megapharmacy, yet they still have everything in stock and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes. I’ll be going here for a long time.

David is the best! I love his wife too! She works at the other location. David is very knowledgeable and will ship products anywhere! Referred a friend whose mother was going through chemo. David suggested an alternative health cocktail that didn’t interfere with her prescribed meds. My friend was very happy and grateful for his help! Her mother improved dramatically!

I’ve only started going to Vitahealth over the last few months, but I love it there. The staff are all very friendly and personable, but above all, knowledgable and helpful. It’s always a pleasant experience when I go in, those guys are great. Highly recommend going here!

Dr. David Restrepo, the Pharmacist, is smart and possesses a wide range of knowledge about drugs and supplements, with a holistic approach. to health matters. I greatly respect and trust his advice. He and his staff are always available if you have any related questions or concerns, and they will special order something if it is not in stock. Shopping here, for me, is a stress-​free and happy experience.

I stopped by VitaHealth last week just to see what the store had. The array of products and knowledgeable staff was quite impressive. Along with informing me about every product, the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to be around. Most pharmacies in NYC give mediocre recommendations however, VitaHealth certainly surpassed my expectations.
The store has a cozy atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a Duane Reade where everything is clumped together and no one understands what they are talking about. This is a first-​class pharmacy with superb service and the best product selection around. I would gladly recommend VitaHealth to anyone looking to buy high quality supplements at very low prices.

The team of the 1^st ave store is amazing. I have to travel a lot for work, and thanks to Dave and his team they make sure all my vitamins are in stock while Im in NYC. Plus, Dave Restrepo always gives me great recommendations to all my clients.

Vitahealth Apothecary is a true Upper East Side neighborhood pharmacy. Unlike like the big chain pharmacies, the Pharmacist actually knows who you are and goes far out of his way for customers. The staff are always friendly and helpful. And most of all, you’re treated like a person, not a number. I would never go anywhere else!
