Terrible. Slow. Didn’t have their hot drink machine working, only regular coffee. At a café? Brewed a new batch of coffee also and waited for the whole tall canister to fill before serving anyone. Took 10 minutes to get a cup of black coffee. Not even apologetic.

crepes were decent, but a bit pricey for what it is. I got a savory one and a sweet one, enjoyed savory more than the sweet one.

So delicious and tastes just like ones in Paris! Pricey, but unfortunately that’s NYC. Yum!

I finally had to stop by because I can’t believe how good their crepes smell as I’m walking by their location. They didn’t disappoint, the Nutella Crêpe was amazing!!!

My wife and I decided to stop by before hitting the movies to see«Concussion» of which if you haven’t seen you should of your a fan of any sports besides Football. When we entered we were greeted almost immediately which was good but making a decision on what to order was the hard part. So after two minutes or so my wife ordered the #7 and and I the #9. Watching make the your order is fun but what really caught my attention was the portion size of the ingredients he staff include into your crêpe, almost similar to how frugal«Subway» is with pre-packaged portions. Though the crepes were awesome my only complaint is the bang for our buck of which I feel my wife and I didn’t get though the snack was great, in all our total balance was $ 20.30 for two crepes. I feel it wasn’t worth that much but hey it’s NY and do I have to accept it yes, but will I try it again. Not for awhile.

I stopped by this place to try their hot chocolate. The selection menu for crepes left me craving for one and I gave in. I got mozzarella tomato basil crêpe– absolutely delicious. Very well made and crisp. The only reason I gave this place only 3 stars os bec they do not have any complex carb crêpe options(buckwheat).overall– food great taste; variety decent; price affordable; service good; ambience good. Will try more stuff.

So you’re having a get together around lunch time in Central Park and you need something to eat. What do you do? Well, you could go to the snack bar in the park and get ripped off. You could get a sandwich at one of the delis that is literally on every block of the city, but what’s exciting about that? Heck, you could even get one of those pre made salads at the drug store but then again, who knows how long it’s been sitting there. But why not go out of your comfort zone and try a crêpe? Sure, must people think that creeps are only stuffed with bananas and hazelnut spread and served for dessert, but there are so many more options to choose from here that just might broaden your culinary horizon. Be adventurous! I tried the savory crêpe with turkey, Gruyère, spinach, and tomato sauce and it was delicious. Sure, it took a few minutes for them to make the crêpe from scratch, but it was worth it. My friends that I was with(who opted for the aforementioned deli sandwich) came back with their plastic shopping bags, but immediately regretted their decision when they smelled the fresh crepes inside. Only reason I went with four stars instead of five was they they don’t seem to have a way to wrap up the crepes and I ended up having to carry it in a paper sleeve in one hand and my drink in the other back to the park. Some aluminum foil would have been very helpful.

Overpriced and terrible service! The workers on Sunday morning just blatantly ignored orders to chat. I waited 30 minutes for my crêpe and had to remind them several times to make it. When I did, I was met with defensive attitude. Never coming here again…

The crepes are OK, but totally overpriced for what they are. When I’m paying 12 dollars for a crêpe, I want good service. The people who work there are slow and incompetent. I usually don’t write reviews but I waited 30 minutes because they forgot to make my order and then fought with me when I brought it up. Very disappointed. Don’t come here unless you like taking an hour to eat a crêpe.

Vive La Crêpe! certainly has many menu selection of both sweet and savory, and I always thought of them as fresh and high quality. I especially love one of their cute seating décor they they have at each location; long wooden block with back of the chair sticking out of it. I think it is really creative and adorable. Lots of wood used in the interior, bringing the cozy, comfortable feeling throughout, with great natural light coming in from large windows. The strawberries were all fresh and ripe, and the savory crêpe combinations are amazing. It’s a small place so don’t go with your 10 best friends, but for delicious food and a great atmosphere for parties of 2 – 4, this place is a hit. The staff was friendly, and the service was fairly prompt. Delicious! And the windows looking out on Columbus are nice for a moment alone.

Meh. First the good: clean, pleasant small restaurant, friendly staff. Bad: the crêpe batter is all wrong, especially for savory crepes. It’s a light, overly eggy white flour — resulting in a too thick crêpe to be paired with Gruyère and ham. On the upside, the dark chocolate crêpe was yummy — so stick to the sweet crepes.

I love, love, love this place. My favorite is the #9(chicken, gruyère, pesto, tomatoes & spinach. I specifically come to this location because of 2 of the workers there, Ebrihim and Zaqura. They always greet me Good Morning/Good Afternoon, along with other customers that come in. They’re always smiling and engage and laugh with us which I think is cool because at the other locations I’ve been they’re not as friendly. I would have given this store 5 stars but the other worker there named Jesica isn’t as friendly. Everytime I do come and she’s there, she’s never smiling or even greets. One time I asked her to wrap my crêpe to go and she gave me this stare as if she was annoyed with my request. I think that, that is bad customer service. Besides that I love this location and would totally recommend it. It’s always clean and the music is calming. Thanks!

The crepes were not as good as I was expecting. Had a dulce de leche crêpe and all the dulce de leche melted and was all at the bottom of the crêpe. Overall, good enough for a quick sweet fix.

Here I sit back home. I am a bit sad knowing that tomorrow I will wake up and not have Vive La Crêpe just at the end of the street. I stopped in today for a crêpe and had an egg, salmon, cream cheese, and capers. The staff was so nice. Next trip to NY I will stop here often! I look forward to trying so many more. It was a wonderful gamble this morning for a coffee and a crêpe.

If you say that you are open until 11PM and I can still walk through your door at 10:51PM, then you should not say at 10:51PM that you are closed and refuse to serve me. Thank you.

It seems like just about every neighborhood these days has a Vive La Crêpe, eh? If you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. They’re totally decent crepes. Nowhere near the best I’ve ever had, but nothing you’d shove away from your face either. It’s sort like Jack Johnson. Chances are you’re not going to head out of your way to give him a listen, but when it’s on the in background, it’s totally unoffensive and mildly enjoyable. I’m more of a savory crêpe guy, but their sweet stuff will do the trick as well.
