I have started to come to this Chinese herbal shop after suffering hives for about 7 months and was not responsive to western medicine treatment. There is an herbal doctor on site (in the back of this small shop) from 7PM to 8:30PM Mondays to Saturdays and all day on Sunday. The herbal doctor took my pulse and was able to prescribe an herbal drink that I can make at home from the ingredients that the shop sells. The lady in the front of store took the prescription list and pulled various ingredients from individual drawers. I was given 3 packages in the first visit. Even though the herbal medicine did not taste good, my hives started to get better after 2 – 3 weeks.
Note: the consultation fee is built into the herbal medicine fees and it is fairly decent price. But if the list of ingredients contain expensive stuff, then it can be a lot higher.
