I’ve been here twice now. It’s not good. Over priced, noodles weren’t really cooked and broth was equal to something out of a can. It’s about $ 10 for a almost stingy bowl that is far from piping hot. I would recommend Siguette down the street on Amsterdam/106– which is a take out place but kicks this place’s but out of the water! The staff wears gloves behind the counter but touched their phone, nose and trash can with the same glove they use to cook with. It’s a bit unsanitary.

I suppose the ramen here was okay. It wasn’t great. I want to say it was not bad for noodle soup. Signature Ramen($ 10) — chicken broth, chashu, scallion, bamboo shoots: The broth was alright. It really reminded me of a slightly thicker chicken broth from a can. There were 3 slices of chashu. I didn’t mind since I’ve definitely seen stingier portions of meat. It didn’t come with the thick, chewy noodles that I prefer, but I wasn’t entirely convinced that these are thin ramen noodles either. But, what do I know? Tonkotsu Ramen($ 13.50) — pork base broth, chashu, scallion, bamboo shoots, nori seaweed, mushrooms, & supposed to include soft-boiled egg: The pork broth had slightly better flavor. This option does state that it includes an egg, but we didn’t find an egg in the bowl. When we brought it up with the waitress, she said something about how we have to add it as a topping.(Adding an egg is $ 2.) Then she double-checked and brought us a cold egg in a bowl. It didn’t get a chance to warm up in the bowl and soak up the broth. Oh well. Pork Buns($ 6 for 2) — pork belly with cucumber, kale: These buns were decent. I’m not sure if kale goes well, since it was a little tough to bite through compared to the pork & white bun. I think I was more attracted to the restaurant’s intriguing kabuki mask and no waiting included.

Meh ramen. Everything was just so bland and the ramen was lukewarm. The seasoned egg was cold, which was weird. Service was good, which is kind of sad. The service was better than the ramen. Awkward… If you’re in the area, try Naruto Ramen. If you’re willing to travel a little bit go to Jin Ramen. If you’re willing to travel a more than a bit, try Ippudo. Will I come here again? Sadly yes. My friend lives in the area and loves this spot because the ramen isn’t «heavy.»

Another so-so ramen place. They have a special kind of thin noodles, and this is the first time I ever see this. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and only got 3 slices of meat. I was a little mad because I can get 8 slices for half the price in Tokyo. Takoyaki, in my opinion, should be 6 for $ 6 instead of 5. Pure awkwardness for party of 2.

Never got to order. Walked in right behind another couple. We were greeted cheerfully and then were ignored for the next ten minutes. The two waitresses were talking, gossiping, with each other for most of this time. The other couple got their order taken. We sat the counter. Maybe the cook was supposed to take the order. They don’t serve alcohol But we got noticed when we left.

So we have gone to a few ramen places in the city. Unfortunately this was not one of our favourites. Far from their competitor. I passed this place several times and always felt I should try it. I walked out very disappointed. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl, the pork buns and the shiitake mushroom ramen. Tasted bland, pork buns was fatty, tuna bowl was a take on spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo converted into a larger appetizer. The ramen bowl was plain, nothing special about it. My wife ordered the spicy ramen. Nothing spicy about it, the four slices of pork was hard like leather. I wish it had more to offer. What led me to try this place were the other reviews. There definitely was nothing perfect about this place. I feel the other people perhaps have not tried the better ones. The best rating thing was the free water and the décor.

I just had a yasha spicy ramen it was good but not special not enough flavor but still good. The food itself deserves 3.5 for this dish. Personal feelings. The thing i did like in the meal is rhat the ramen seemed to be fresh and thin. I may be hard on japanese food. It seems that people who work in the restaurant are really concerned with their customers wellness so this comment has been modified. I guess if you are also a fan of asian food and especially the Japanese food in should be in your course. It is still japanese. The chef is japanese and one of the waitress is japanese. My meal there remember me when I spent time in Tokyo.

I have been ordering here for about a year now. It is a great place. Very friendly, delivery is fast and the food is great. The ramen is amazing. I usually get the pork ramen. It comes in a pork broth with sliced pork belly, mushrooms, nori, a soft cooked egg and bamboo shoots. Very good and very filling. They also have a very good pork bun made with pork belly and a spicy sauce. Very delicious.

This was my first time ordering delivery ramen in general and probably my last. Yasha ramen delivered the soup and noodles in one container so the noodles soaked up quite a bit of broth. I ordered the tonkotsu which typically is a favorite of mine but it wasn’t very good at all here. It was cloudy, dark, and salty. The meat had an off flavor to it, very porky and gamey. I had trouble eating it and was super disappointed. It was probably the worst both of ramen I’ve ever had. Also I ordered through and they charge a $ 2 delivery fee which is understandable and I also tipped $ 2, they use Über Rush for delivery which doesn’t accept tips so it’s pocketed by the restaurant.

Honestly, we like the food here. We used to order often, and then they added a delivery fee — I understand that delivery is annoying for small restaurants, but this was a huge turn-off — and THEN they started getting really bad at delivery. Recently we waited more than 90 minutes for a delivery order, and after calling were told they were«just getting around to processing the delivery orders.» Forty minutes later(so that’s more than 2 hours after the order was placed), nothing had come and they stopped answering the phone. I know things get crazy, but that’s just totally unacceptable.

This review is only for their appetizers. I have yet to order ramen, as I am petite and only need an appetizer now and then as a snack, and I’m all for supporting neighborhood joints. I wanted to love this place, I do. And I still want to support this place, I do. However, they need a serious revamping of the menu. Appetizers are bland. There is no wow factor in any of the appetizers, and with just a little push there could be so much more. I have had the wings, the pork buns, the tuna over rice, the fried rice, tako yaki. Though simple items, nothing was executed in an special way. I will return just to try the ramen one day, because I enjoy the waiters and the open kitchen floor plan. However, I hope they do get better… eventually.

Was very excited to try this place, and I ordered the spicy mushroom ramen along with the tofu buns. The buns were just alright(definitely not the best I’ve had nor the worst), and the ramen was also very average, having been topped with only a few pickled mushroom and bamboo shoot slices instead of the many diverse toppings one usually sees on ramen. I’m a bit of a bigger fan of Naruto Ramen food-wise(for takeout only), but the atmosphere here has a very cool vibe and is overall worth a visit.

Terrible ramen — i was trying to check out a new spot but was totally disappointed. Waitress was nice bit food and atmosphere make this place a one and done place. Skip this place as there is much better food in the area

When you’re craving ramen, you just can’t settle for anything that’s not truly Japanese. Yasha was authentic and served me quick. With an abundance of seats, you’ll be sure to sit and eat quickly!

This is my third time to this place and how have I not written a review yet? It has yet to fail me. The prices are reasonable, the broth is always delicious, and I am always left stuffed off an order of pork buns and one bowl of soup. This time I got the Kale ramen and added pork and I wasn’t disappointed. They gave me a mountain of kale and I couldn’t even finish it all. I am not a veggie-lover but I tried my damndest to finish this because it was delicious. Ramune soda was a little pricey but I can never pass up an opportunity to buy one of those. The music is always pleasant and the wait staff here are always so friendly and attentive. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Clearly, since I decided to feed my ramen craving on a steamy summer night in August.

I’ve eaten at Yasha Ramen a few times — each time was an enjoyable, albeit not exemplary experience. The service is extremely friendly, though not particularly diligent. The menu has already to offer and the food is always delicious. While I would eat at Yasha again, I will definitely never order delivery again. I’ve ordered from Yasha twice and each time resulted in a botched order: 1. They failed to substitute my regular ramen noodles with wavy noodles(which I had paid $ 2.00 for) and I received regular tonkatsu ramen rather than the mega bowl(a difference of about $ 4.00) 2. I ordered a tonkatsu ramen and a children’s ramen bowl. They were the exact same size(the quart sized containers were both half full). Again, the difference in price was about $ 5.00. In short, I would not want to discourage anyone from physically eating at Yasha Ramen. However, until they alter how they handle deliveries, I will NOT be ordering from Yasha again, and encourage you to do the same.

I really liked this place. Here are my pictures. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but it was comfortable and super clean. Organized! And, my Signature Ramen was terrific. I’m so happy to have such a nice place to get Ramen in my own hood.

Walked in here to have a late lunch/early dinner fix which happened to be time for wait staff shift changes. It was weird that the apparent head chef was not wearing gloves and placing food like pork buns directly on counters. Meh. Only saw him wash his hands once, this is a huge deal with an open concept kitchen. Luckily nothing I ordered needed much handling. Ramen noodles are al dente so that you dont have a mushy mess. Got it. Broth was very rich in thé miso noodle soup I ordered. Not too salty but à hearty broth with flavor. Portions are large and filling, so it helped that I had not eaten lunch. Jasmine tea was pretty weak but it probably had to do with my impatient self not letting it steep enough. Didnt notice alcohol options but there is a sign proclaiming they have a new menu now. Bathroom is pretty clean but is also used for storage for High chairs and random items that may belong to staff.

If you can, definitely get the groupon for this place before you go! it was originally $ 19 for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks… but i got mine for $ 15 because i bought it together with a couple friends. Food: 3 stars overall — spicy tuna appetizer: pretty good! spicy tuna sashimi on a bed of rice. tasty. simple. — signature spicy ramen: my friend got this one. he said it was good. it comes with noodles that look like angel hair(thinner than the one i got) — mega ramen: this basically has every topping /veggie /meat inside and it was delicious. a different friend warned me about the kale saying it was weird, but it wasn’t too bad. the broth was spicy which i liked.(id recommend either ramen) Overall, the food was good, but nothing that special. i liked the ramen at totto, ippudo, or hide-chan more. BUT… i give this place a 4 stars because they were very«kind» about their groupon policy. Usually, when you try to use a coupon, they are very strict about which things on the menu you can order. However… they let me order the mega ramen(which is bigger and the most expensive) and they even didn’t charge us for my friend’s order of extra noodles! So yeah, if you’re able to get the groupon, i’d definitely recommend this place! Without the groupon, i’d still go eat here if I was in the area and wanted some ramen. But, if i was really craving the best ramen, i’d take the subway down.
