Lousy slow servers wirh an attitude. Its like they hired the laziest most stupid individuals. Food is of poor quality and prices are very expensive. Not even worth one star. Stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

My BF and I went here on Valentine’s Day for brunch. We found this place after discovering the wait at Tops was 50 minutes. Andros had no wait and cute, cozy seating. Andros has THEBEST french toast we have ever eaten. It was perfect in every way. We also ordered an omelette, coffee, delicious hot chocolate, and muffin. Everything came out quickly, staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the prices can’t be beat. The waitress was really nice! When we are in the Newark area again, will stop by for some more french toast! Thank you for making our V-day morning great!

Worst service ever! I tried otdering a salad 3 times on different days, the first time it arrived after my lunch hour was over, the second time late again and not what i had ordered. I spoke to the manager and he gave me a 10 dollar credit. When i ordered the 3rd time i thought this time i was gonna get it right, boy was i wrong… i ordered 1 hour prior to my lunch time, 20 min into my lunch i called them wondering where the salad was and they havent even left… i cancelled amd went out to eat quickly before getting back to work… never again!

Being open 24 hours makes this places super convenient for me. Food is nothing special and kinda overpriced and the place serves as a watering hole for the local hobos late at night(the diner serves alcohol well after the bars have closed). Been coming to this place for a few months now on my walk home and I’ve got to say… they got the best milkshake at 3 in the morning. Plus with all the rowdy customers there’s a good chance you might get dinner and a show. Sure there are better places to eat with lower prices, but that hobo charm keeps bringing me back. 5 out of 5 would watch off-duty cops argue with drunks again.

Landed in Newark at midnight and Andros was one of the few places around that was open 24⁄7. The staff was really nice, the food is good, and the portions are generous. Total lifesaver in the middle of the night.

Friendly staff, and good food any time of day. Located right in Ironboubd and well known by all the locals. I’ve always had a pleasant experience here.

Had a delightful lunch here! The staff were great. Lots of regulars were dropping in, each greeted warmly. As an out-of-towner eating alone, I felt equally welcome. My waitress even commented that my book«looked interesting» and we engaged in a thoughtful conversation about school reform.(It was a quiet afternoon, so she wasn’t neglecting other patrons.) Tasty soup. Tasty salad with nicely-seasoned grilled chicken. The menu here is not as exhaustively extensive as many diners but the choices were varied and the quality of the food very satisfactory. A happy experience all around.

This place is awesome. I have been coming here for the past 20 years. Their food is good and the prices are good. Also, they serve alcohol 24 seven. How can you have anything wrong with that?

FINGERNAILINTHEPASTA! I ordered chicken fettuccini Alfredo and thought it was weird I had something red in the pasta. So I guess the cook had on red nail polish and spit into the pasta. And they got mad when I called to complain! As if they have to go throw up after seeing that disgusting nail in their plate! Do not eat here! I’m also filing a complaint with Newark health dept.

Ehh. Not a great choice for food around Newark. If you’re seriously out of options then this is what you’re left with but seriously not that good at all. Food is basic, flavorless and plain. The service is mediocre at best. Head over to Top’s in Harrison for a great diner

Open 24/7, it’s a great place to go to anytime you feel hungry. It’s my go-to place when I feel like eating pancakes late at night. They carry most diner classics, and I love both their breakfast and lunch specials. The lunch specials menu changes daily, and it comes with a cup of their delicious soups. Apart from their varied list of daily specials, my favorite meal is the Ironbound burger, named after our neighborhood. Although it might not be a very good reason to go there, Andro’s appears briefly, along with other buildings of the five corners, in the Spielberg’s movie ‘War of the Worlds’. I still think it’s pretty cool though.

Kind of place you go to when no better options available or when other diners seem too far. Specially because they keep serving alcohol after bars in the area have closed. Food is mediocre, staff not very friendly, and extremely overpriced compared to actually good diners. Delivery is not that great either, food comes worse than when eating in.

I stopped by this diner with friends late Saturday night after an event at the nearby Prudential Center. Everything went good. We ordered the typical diner fare such as burgers and fries. Sweet potato fries can’t compare to regular fries but this place makes them better than any other place I’ve ever tried. So kudos for them in that. I can’t remember the waitress’ name but she was very pleasant. Overall, it’s a good diner.

I’m local and rarely go here. In fact, I’ll only go for a basic breakfast or late night sandwich or burger only if I have to. I don’t recommend ordering anything obscure other than the basic stuff. Their food is sub par, the service is TERRIBLE, servers just don’t care. I’m a generous tipper but this place only gets the bare minimum out of me. The only thing they got going on is 24 hour service, unless it’s 3am I recommend going elsewhere for food, specially with so many fantastic restaurants nearby. If you still want a diner experience, drive out of town and go to Tops, Tick-Tock or North Arlington diners. Avoid Andros unless you’re drunk at 4 am. Take it from a local!
