We had Jeff do the alterations & tuxedo rental for my cousin’s cotillion. First, we were so stressed because all the rentals and alterations came literally THE DAY BEFORE the event, even though all our alterations we given to him 3 months in advanced. On top of that, some of the tuxedos didn’t fit. Out of all people’s tuxedo’s it had to be my Uncle (fyi the dad of the débutante) & my grandpa. They were way too big & my uncle kept saying, «I look like Santa Claus.» Because of that, we literally had to find a new tuxedo for my uncle & my grandpa THE DAY OF the event.
What’s even more unprofessional & really disturbing is that he brought a guest, who was clearly his significant other to my cousin’s cotillion & pretended that he was his assistant & had the nerve to ask my aunt at the end of the event to pay for his boyfriend because «He carried the tuxedos.» Jeff also requested for his own room at the hotel where the party was being held for the purpose of «makeup» BUT he ended up NOT doing the makeup because he wasn’t even ready for the rentals & alterations that day, so that room was used for his personal purposes & to top it all off USED ROOM SERVICE & CHARGED IT TO MY AUNT’S CARD ON FILE.
After the event, Jeff brought up all these absurd additional charges that were never even discussed prior to or during the event. When my aunt asked for receipts & quotes on where these prices came from, we never heard from him again.
For as long as Jeff is in this company, we will NEVER use any of his services ever again. We came to Angelsbloom because of Lolita and we miss her. DO NOT GET JEFF TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. We’ve heard so many terrible things about Jeff, we gave him the benefit doubt for this event & we regret it very much. We will take our services to wherever Lolita is from now on.

Excellent customer service! Great selection! This is the second year I have bought a dress for my daughter here and I am extremely happy with the selection and prices! Lolita is always friendly and willing to work with us! She even takes the time to write the name of the school and design of the dress we selected so duplicates will not be sold from her store to the same prom. We searched all over the Bay Area last year. This year it was our first & only stop. My very picky daughter found an amazing dress within 20 minutes of shopping here. I also priced the dress on the internet & it was actually cheaper than ordering it! I will never shop anywhere else!

This place is perfect for prom shopping, let’s start off by saying I’m extremely picky. The moment I walked in I was helped with great customer service. I was able to find my perfect prom dress at an affordable price! It’s a must to check this place out ! :) I tried so many stores before this one and none compared to this place ! What’s even better is that Lolita writes down what school purchased what dress so no one will have the same one as yours.

Everyone if you want great and personal service you need to visit Lolita she has taken care of me like I am her daughter ! She’s making sure I’m happy instead of just making sure she’s doing okay she has done everything she can to make me look amazing for prom and I love her ! I suggest her to all my friends and visit her directly for suits for the guys too!(:

Horrible service. Can’t be trusted, the messed up my tux so much, saying that the size of blazer had to change with the pants. The guy there, Jeff, said that the top had to go smaller, and that the pants would stay the same, but he lied. He changed the pants too and he made me look like an idiot. He also charged me $ 15 extra dollars just for using a debit card. They also messed up my friends’ tuxes.

The dresses are nice and you can physically
try on many variety of dresses. I’ve been to many places and this place is the only place where you can really find a dress. It’s pretty big then most stores. If you want a dress i can guarantee that you’ll find one here. Although, i wouldn’t get your dress altered here just because they take a long time and you have to call them, when the tailor says they’ll call you.

Pro: There’s a wonderful selection of dresses in the store, from short to long and in between. I came in not really knowing what I wanted, and after my SECOND dress I found a winner! If they don’t have your color, they’re more than willing to order you one, or for my sister’s case she got to choose a couple dresses and later on we got a call saying she ordered them, but because my sister found a different dress, I was able to try them on instead!
Lolita is so sweet and very friendly! She remembers mostly ALL her customers if not by name then by school. BRING
HEELS if you’re gonna wear heels so if you get it altered, they will be able to measure then and there.

What a pleasant surprise! Who knew there was a fancy dress shop in Newark? We didn’t think we would find a dress for my daughters prom so close to home. Walking in, we loved how so many dresses were up on display – to give you ideas of style/​color. Lolita, the owner was getting ready to close, but was happy to stay a bit longer to help us. My daughter fell in love with the 2^nd dress she tried on. She said YES to the DRESS right then and there. I was thrilled that I wouldn’t have to drive all over the bay area looking for the perfect dress. Alterations were just as amazing here. Jeff treated my daughter like a princess… and getting her dress altered to perfection was a dream come true. Thank you Lolita and Jeff! We will be back for Senior ball next year I’m sure! And… we most likely will have 2 weddings in our household in the future too! :) BTW… we sent several of my daughters friends your way! Everyone looked amazing!

My first impression was not great, but after finding a dress that I LOVED I was very confident that I would have an amazing experience! The sales lady was very helpful and knew what would look good on me. I bought the dress, and later brought my shoes back to get the dress hemmed. It was guaranteed that my dress would be done a week after I came in. I called after 8 days, and it wasn’t finished. It was finished 10 days later! I was so excited to go in an pick up my dress only to find out that the hem was SO uneven that I wouldn’t be able to wear my dress. I picked up my dress March 1^st and my prom is March 8^th.

I brought my daughter here to look for a prom dress. A friend of hers recommended this place. When we walked in the store, we saw alot of dresses — many different styles and colors, pretty good prices. The problem we had was with the salesperson, who I later found out was the owner. She complained everytime my daughter wanted to try on a dress, either it was too hard to find her size, the color, or that she just put it up on display. After trying on 3 dresses she then went told my daughter that she needed to make up her mind because she can’t keep bringing her dresses to try on. When she made that comment to her, we left. By the way, we were the only customers in the store.

There’s many different dresses to choose from and the prices are reasonable and negotiable. I recommend checking this place for prom dresses and wedding gowns.
