Haven’t been here in a long while, but today I had the opportunity to stop by. The manager noticed me taking pictures as I was coming in and asked if I was trying to by the place. I’m like NOOOO! Just using Unilocal.Cool thing was, he heard of that app, but wasn’t sure how to use it, so I gave him a quick lesson on it. He’s made my sandwich a few times and he’s always very welcoming to the people. They know a few people by name and face and like to joke around, the folks here are pretty nice. The«white chick at the register aka „the old white chick“ according to the manager is pretty awesome too.» It was good to see these folks again at University Plaza. I always get my sandwich just the way I like it and everyone there works with great enthusiasm and I’m usually out in less than 10 minutes. During lunch time they can get really busy, because they’re right near Rutgers University Hospital, so at lunch time there’s always a pretty good crowd. Today I came just after 1:15, so it wasn’t too crowded. The place is always clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks, and you can also get other items other than sandwiches, which I’ve yet to try. I did like getting my punch card again so that I can work toward a free sandwich again.

This Blimpie over at W. Market St. looks pretty good but the wheat sub doesn’t look to good? I’ve been to this Blimpie since last summer & I just really love their sub sandwiches. The lady was so nice I mean you can buy a sub for each day of the week & get a sec sub for free which is a good thing? I mean what more can you ask for? But the pies it’s too expensive like $ 3.49 for that come on now? But anyway I like all the sub sandwiches place to Blimpie-Subway-Jersey Mikes-Jimmy Johns, you name it? But Jimmy Johns, & Jersey Mikes, I’ll never been to them in my life!

I don’t have any issues with the location itself but I do with Blimpie as a company. Its okay for an occasional visit but Blimpie has been slipping. Back in the day they were all that then they got too corporate and always quality suffers. They have followed Subway with the ready made portions which is un-deli like. It’s just something about places that does not slice the meat. The portions have suffered also but I guess it’s good if you are on a diet.
