Here is my Chandni Chowk Walla haiku: Cumin, or human, close your eyes and breathe deeply. Health and spice are one. Translated into standard Unilocalspeek, this means the food is delicious, healthy, freshly prepared from Real Ingredients, and affordably priced($ 4-$ 7). A serious winner. It is located in the little food court next to Sbarro’s. There’s a rotating menu varying by day.(Saag paneer is, I think, on Tuesday.) They usually serve three or four vegetarian options, one or two meat options from the buffet, and there’s usually some tandoori(grilled/roasted) meat. Samosas and masala tea, too! They give you enough food for two meals, or at least one meal and a little snack later, but I usually devour the entire thing as fast as possible and then recline while I enjoy the painful satisfaction of my sweet, delicious gluttony.
