I went here today with my son. We haven’t been here for quite a while because we used to go often when he was in Kindergarten whey they get off at 1 pm. I digress. Anyways, I was quite disappointed with the many changes they made. They added a lot of new games, mostly«one shot» ticket games where you press one button and there goes the token instead of games that will last a minute or two like skeeball, etc. They removed the Operation game and they replaced the air hockey with a very tiny one that is about two feet long. On today’s visit, we decided to play the Fast and Furious game in between eating since it became vacant. When we finished our game, someone emptied our table. I wasn’t too upset because there were only two slices of pizza left but when I inquired about it, the worker with an attitude, responded, «I didn’t do it and I don’t know who, you can order again». I was hoping I can get back our soda cups at least. Another important note, there is NOSALADBAR until 3:30 pm. This is because they used the space for their $ 6.99 lunch buffet that didn’t look good. I only saw a pepperoni and a cheese pizza. Sometimes, I did not see anything in the table at all.

Chuck E cheese’s used to be a favorite spot for us to go to some years ago. Now it has become money eating commercial place. For a birthday party they charge $ 2.49 per cup and no pitchers for adults. This is insane. On top they do not have much vegetarian options and do not allow veg food from outside. Only a vegetarian pizza and a vegetarian sandwich. On top the manager that was on duty today, she has no idea about the Fremont market. She just says«everyone else does that» thinking we as customers do not know what others are selling in Fremont. Last thing, I asked that a few food items be ready when we walk in. And she said she cannot. First the party host will verify with me again in the evening. That is idiotic given I am already asking what I need at minimum to be ready. On top customer listening skills are worst for this manager who unfortunately attended my call. Seems she is never undergone CS orientation at all. I wish I had known this and I would not host my son’s birthday party here. This is last time ever I am going Chuck E cheese’s in Newark, CA

We were invited to my godson’s birthday at the Newark Chuck E. Cheese. It was busy like a weekend afternoon at Costco though my brother tells me sometimes you can’t even walk through the aisles. Each birthday invitee is given a small container of tokens so the kids head off to play skeeball and the other games, scramble up the climbing structure, and then come back for pizza and cake while Chuck E stops by for photo opps. The birthday child spends some time in a ticket blaster and has a chance to grab more prize tickets. The adults had plenty of food while we chatted in our reserved benches; we had BBQ and buffalo wings, veggies and dip, tater tots and these interesting flatbread strips. It was fine. The minuses: –Our cake cutting moment was shared with two other parties at the same time. Chuck E and his cheerleader friends went back and forth between the three areas. I hope this community party setup included a discounted fee. –Party host? Was that the guy who brought out the food and punch for the kids? Neither«host» greeted anyone in our party and didn’t do much other than help light the birthday candles. I did feel sorry for the two«hosts» as they were forced to do a song and dance with Chuck E and friends and their expressions were those of pure misery. –The girls’ bathroom was a mess. Wet sinks and floor. No paper towels in either dispenser; the ginormous roll someone had placed on the soggy counter had disappeared by the time we were heading out.

I have to agree with all other low starred Unilocalers. The Newark location had no condiments on tables. Tokens are now 33 cents a piece? Unfreakin real!!! They actually stopped taking food orders at 8:00pm because they couldn’t keep up.

What can you really say about this place? It’s a necessary evil for children. They feed these machines with tokens like addicts at the slots. $ 20 = 70 tokens This amount lasted us maybe an hour? Depending on how skilled or lucky you are, you can get hundreds of tickets. Yes, hundreds, but definitely not thousands. Unfortunately thousands is what you want because that’s the only amount that can get you worthwhile prizes. Otherwise, you’re stuck with random rubber toys and Tootsie Rolls/Airheads. Luckily, I felt like all the machines were kept pretty clean. It wasn’t like the Exploratorium where every exhibit was covered in grease and germs. The dancing animals on stage are still scary as hell. Even my grown husband got goosebumps.

Let me first start by stating that we visited the Chuck E Cheese in Cupertino CA July 2015 for my son’s 4th birthday. They experience was amazing. The hostess made my family and I feel like she really wanted to make this the best birthday ever. For the Check E Cheese in Fremont CA I can’t recommend this place without first notifying all my friends and family about what a horrendous experience we had for my daughter’s 7th birthday. From the moment we got there we had nothing but problems. First problem: I would not find any employees who could tell me who was going to take my half a sheet cake out of my hands. Second problem: The princess cutout had my Name and not my daughter’s on it. Third problem: Our party hostess«Yammy» informed me at our first encounter that«All our hostesses have mutinied and walked out, so we are running behind». I didn’t see her again until it was time to take find out what kind of pizza and drinks we wanted for the children. She brought the pizza’s out and the drink pitcher and we didn’t see her again until 4:10pm when she brought the cake out(still in its box). The other parents that were in our party helped me to clear off the table from the pizza mess and also WE had to refill the pitcher of drink for the children. When the hostess brought the cake out she was carrying it by the sides only so there was a noticeable crack straight down the middle. During the actual party part involving Chuck E Cheese our hostess seemed less than interested. Actually sitting on the stage for the first 10 minutes of the party. When cutting the cake she actually used a serving utensil and mutilated the cake. I was horrified. After the cake eating portion of the party she did not return to tell us when the birthday star would be entering the ticket blaster so the other children went to play with the tokens. The hostess again emerged from her hiding place and asked if my daughter was ready for the ticket blaster. I had to hunt my child down in order for her to be able to do it. After the ticket blaster the hostess seemed eager for me to pay my bill and I informed her that I wanted to speak with management. She wasn’t so eager after that statement. Our initial party time was 3:00pm and the Chuck E Cheese portion didn’t start until 4:10pm. We were told two different start times after I had to ask two separate employees because I couldn’t find my hostess. Fourth problem: After reviewing my email with what was supposed to be included in my daughters party I realized that she was never given her tiara, cape, or 1000 ticket voucher. I had to mention this to the counter staff. Fifth problem: When I finally spoke with the«General Manger» he did not seem too concerned about our horrible party experience. We were given a $ 32.00 discount and a business card with a supposed free visit to another Chuck E Cheese. The General Manager made sure to let me know that they were having staffing issues and he was having to work in the kitchen.

This place is a joke. If you like waiting for your food more than an hour plus then this is your place. People that work here are idiots and don’t even know what they’re doing. I wish I could give zero stars but unfortunately even idiots deserve a star.

THEMANAGEMENTOFFREMONTCHUCK E. CHEESESTEVENSON’S BLVDBRANCHSUCKS! If you’re trying to have a birthday party, DON’T GOTOTHISPLACE! We had our son’s 5th birthday party at this brach set for 3−5pm, we got there at 2:40pm and the party before us was already over but they haven’t cleaned up the tables yet. Since it wasn’t 3pm yet, we didn’t worry. 3pm came and they still haven’t cleaned up the tables. They finally cleaned them at 3:30pm. When they got the tables set at 3:45, they told us that our food which was already pre-ordered online days ago to avoid waiting, was not ready. They said that our order was not received, so we had to re-order it all over again. Then they came back again telling us that they don’t have breads for our sandwich platter order. It is already 4:30pm and our food is not here yet. We are hungry and our party is supposed to be over at 5pm. I repeat. DONOTPICKTHISPLACE!

Just left my daughters 8th bday. I paid for the highest party for 4 kids and was totally neglected. There were 2 other parties going and the following list is all that happened. I think I was neglected because we had the least amount of kids and spending the least amount of money. I was appalled and disgusted by the treatment we received. I asked for a full refund and didn’t get it. Party at 11am, didn’t open until 11am. 11:15 was told one host for 2 parties 11:22 still don’t have tokens Name spelled wrong on photo cutout 11:30 got tokens 11:08 just got to table 1 party assistant for 3 parties Cake gunk on paper plates 11:30 no princess cape Didn’t announce her name during chuck e cheese show along with one other party Host not engaging with birthday girl 12:32 no piñata 12:38 never got cape Girl shirt kept coming up while leading celebration. Didn’t clear our table Only focused on on one table Host was checking phone during celebration and talking on microphone 1245 no piñata I did get a refund for no piñata and no cape and tiara. Worst part was the end. The girl cleaning my table was not waiting for us to grab our things. I asked her if she could wait until we were done. She Grabbed the black platter holding my pizza and THREW my pizza on the already dirty table. She never asked me if I wanted to keep or if I wanted a box. So horribly rude even after i was kind even though the service was bad. Good luck if you have a party here.

I agree with the other Unilocalers that this place is dirty. Tables had garbage on them and nobody bussed them. I wonder if the game machines ever get wiped down? I sure hope so as there were tons of kids sneezing and coughing everywhere! The girls working at the front where kids can get their prizes were all huddled together talking and not reedeming tickets and giving out prizes in a timely manner… it was so frustrating!

This is the dirtiest Chuck E Cheese that I’ve ever gone to. It’s a Saturday night, but geez. Does anyone work here? The restrooms are disgusting, there is leftover food on EVERY table, and crap all over the floor. There were games that took your coins & some that wouldn’t give you tickets. But there are no employees walking the gaming areas. A large number of the kids here are undisciplined and are climbing on machines and throwing things. My 2 year old was in the little kids’ area riding a car and a kid climbed on the hood of it while it was moving and stood up. My 6 year old & I were playing air hockey and a kid purposefully shoots his toy in the middle of the table while we were playing. WHAT. IN. THE. HELL?! Who are these kids and where are their parents?! There is a kid running and dribbling a basketball through the gaming area and them shooting the ball 20 – 30 feet away from the game the basketball goes to. I’m just glad I’m visiting the area & this isn’t my local Chuck E Cheese. My daughter left her bag there. My husband works nearby & retrieved it. He was in there all of 5 minutes and called telling me how terrible of an establishment it was.

So disappointed to this place. My daughter just had her Birthday party 3 weeks ago. The host that was assign to us doesn’t know what she is doing. I have to constantly remind her about our orders. I have paid super mega package for the kids and didn’t get what I paid for. Chuck e cheese stayed for 5 minutes then Rome around and never came back at party. I personally choose this place so I don’t have to worry about anything and hoping that I can relax and entertain the guest but instead have to watch and coach our host what to do. Hassle free — –not anymore… Have to constantly remind hour host that I purchased the super mega package. Kids didn’t get enough tokens, they didn’t get their ice cream and piñata… My daughter didn’t get the recognition from Chuck e cheese for the tiera and cape… Very bad experienced… So disappointed!

Be aware of the sharp edges of the arcades. My son tripped and hit one of the corners. He ended up in the ER and had to get 3 stiches. A place designed for a child should be child proof. Once he got hurt, management informed me that they couldn’t call an ambulance and they didn’t have a phone to make such a call. It is very sad that these centers pride themselves for all the good that they offer the kids, but won’t take necessary percautions to ensure the kids saftey.

This place sucks. We came on a Saturday night and it was so understaffed, it was impossible to enjoy anything. An hour and a half wait for food is ridiculous! Machines were going out of order left and right and running out of tickets. My husband and sister waited about 45 minutes for 2 beers while I was trying to keep track of my 5 year old nephew in the crazy crowd. And they don’t have regulations for kids running around in only a diaper. Really? No clothes or shoes? Disgusting. The worst part was when we were ready to leave and more than half of the ticket counting machines were broken. It took so long to get the count and make our way to the counter. Then a rude family cut in front of us to get prizes without having them counted. The ONE attendant counted by hand and waited so long to get them prizes. RIDICULOUS!!! We will never be coming back again.

I came here for a kid’s birthday party and experienced the following: 1) Games — several are broken and many don’t dispense tickets 2) Bathrooms — Unkept with no paper towels, trash all over the bathroom floor and no separators between the urinals, I imagine prison bathrooms are better kept 3) Food — pizza so oily/greasy it made me wonder why BP wasn’t in there drilling, the cakes they serve are frozen, and the salad bar is unkept 4) General décor — I can’t completely blame the staff here, this place is a madhouse on a Saturday night though it makes me question if they’re violating fire code by having so many people in here, the place also looked understaffed to keep up with the messes left by patrons 5) Safety — I was actually impressed by this. If you enter with a child they will stamp your arm and the child’s arm and re-check them when you leave to ensure you’re leaving with your own child 6) Lines — they can be very long and a big wait, it made me wonder why they only used on register with so many people in line.

This place is terrible. The games never seem to change, although they did have one or two new ones over the last 5 years ive been coming here. Id expect a constant rotation, not one new game every over year. The food isnt terrible. The pizza has gotten better over the years. But the cleanliness of the booths is horrible. We sat down to eat, and while were waiting we counted the number of ants we could see on the table, wall, and coming out of the napkin dispenser. I brought it up to the guy who brought our pizza, he didnt seem to care. The drinks out of the machine need some work… not the right syrup mixture, old mixture, i dont know… it wasnt good.

Wowwwwwie, coming to this location makes me reevaluate my entire childhood and realize the innocence of my youth. I’ve had great memories here as a kid, buckets full of tokens, pizza parties, etc. Coming back and seeing how much this place changed honestly makes me sad at how much this location has changed since I last was here.(And not necessarily for the better.) I came here to take my brother and sister here for their birthdays, and my first reaction upon walking in is WOW, it’s COMPLETELYDIFFERENT from when I used to come as a kid. The games are a lot different then when I remembered it as well, they upgraded to a few more modern games as well, such as Fruit Ninja, Guitar Hero, and Temple Run. The games themselves are enjoyable, though if you’re expecting to win a lot of tickets and redeem them for something huge, I would reconsider that thought. I feel like if anything the price to prize ratio is completely ridiculous. At the redeeming table, 100 tickets is about the worth of a dollar, and big ticket items(really small stuffed animals) are about 1,500 tickets, or $ 15, which is absolutely ridiculous. Most games let you win 5 – 10 tickets at most per game unless you try for one of those higher chance games, like the ball drop or the Big Spin game, but the odds are still rare at best. I’ll admit I even enjoyed playing skeeball in the back as well, hehe. I would avoid the building block balancing game just because I’m pretty sure they’ve never sanitized the controller and you’ll be left with the residue of kids’ grubby pizza grease hands all over your hands. Am I the only one that thinks that they don’t sanitize any of the games??? Definitely bring some sanitizing wipes after or wash your hands after playing, the oil residue is disgusting. The pizza is a grease ball. When you get your pizza it’s soaked in oil and tastes like tough cardboard. I may not be a pizza connosiour but I’m pretty sure a good pizza shouldn’t be coated in a super thick layer of obvious oily grease. No wonder the salad bar is in the back to help balance it out. There isn’t much variety in that, either. When redeeming our prizes, my brother and sister stood at the counter for over 10 – 15 minutes deciding on what they wanted. The guy working over the counter seemed pretty impatient the longer they stood there and seemed very irate. I couldn’t really blame him for his impatience because we did stand there for awhile, but it made me feel really uncomfortable at him staring my siblings and I down deciding what we wanted. Overall all of my siblings(6, 10, and surprisingly even my 13 year old brother) really enjoyed coming here. If you want your kids(from 5 – 10) to have a great time, this is an okay place to take them. I would highly recommend looking up coupons on their website first though, for better deals, as has gotten pricier over time. Also if you want free tokens go & download the app & play the game, you can get 1,000 free tickets, which is way better and much more worth it then trying to win the tokens by game instead! And yes, even though I am an adult I will admit I had(a teeny bit) of fun. :)

I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this Chuck E Cheese. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and almost all machines were in working condition. If you want a decent experience, you have to come on a weekday. No parties, no congestion. It’s a great option for rainy days. I even came on a Saturday to check it out since it was raining. It was definitely really hectic, but nothing I didn’t expect. And, um, if by «ghetto» you mean there are a lot of colored people who come here, then sure, it’s «ghetto.» Yes, there are rowdy kids wrecking havoc and their parents are chasing them around, probably yelling at them to finish their pizza or to not throw the skee balls up the ramp… are your children perfect angels? Because there’s something about these game machines that make kids go bonkers. It’s a given whenever you go to any if these places. You don’t expect proper etiquette here, do you? The term«ghetto» gets thrown around too often, but believe me, this Chuck E Cheese is anything but ghetto. I’m glad I live so close because I definitely need a place to bring my havoc wrecking kid to on a rainy day. Not much else to do around the ghetto.
