Court Side Cafe

You know, I hovered over the four-​star mark out of principle, but then I figured, well, what makes five stars in my book? Great food? Check. Great service? Check. Great prices? Check!
I loved Court Side Café. Its proximity to the two federal courthouses in Newark give it its name, but the great food, service, and prices give it this five-​star review. On my second visit of the summer, sixteen of us crammed ourselves into the restaurant to eat, relax, and regale each other with horror stories from that morning’s mock trial. Service was quick (for most of us, I actually ended up waiting awhile longer than the others) and friendly and they even (without being asked) split the bill into sixteen (!) separate checks for us. That’s huge.
