This is an office favorite for lunch and we’ve used them to cater office meetings and lunches. They’re always super friendly and helpful and the food has always been great. You can tell everything is fresh and carefully prepared. It’s always my pleasure to give them business. Definitely try the Bombay!

Ditto; this is a place that works for lunch in Newark. Clean and food is nicely presented-owners take pride in wrapping up your sandwich just so and as the other reviewer stated-made when you order it. With more foot traffic due to the school and tenants in nearby buildings hopefully this place will stay.

I heart Danny’s. The guys who work there are so nice and genuine that I feel good just walking in. From the outside, this place is nothing special. I only tried it because my co-workers said it was good. And now I love it! Everything is very fresh. I ordered the tuna salad the other day, and they told me they make it fresh for every customer, so I customized and requested they go light on the mayo. They get full at lunch with the student crowd, and it’s just take-out – no tables. They have a great Vietnamese-style veggie sandwich. They catered a lunch for my office, and everyone was really pleased with the food, plus they were very professional and polite. They are serious about providing a better-than-average deli experience and making sure the customers are pleased. I’m a sucker for supporting small, family businesses – especially in Newark, where we are desperately lacking good lunch options – and I encourage you to check out Danny’s II.

I love this place. The guys that run it are awesome, the food is great and they are reasonably priced. Try their carne sandwich and the spicy tuna wrap. It is a place with its own unique personality.

Great food, great service, and very good prices. Try the Mariachi Salad(with chicken)…it’s the best… trust me!
