Dew Drop Inn

I’d have to say that variations of this bar’s name have to be once of the most common bar names. :) At any rate, this was one of the nicer dives I visited in Newark.
The space is divided by a half-​way into two main areas. The bar area is decorated with hanging plants, a jungle scene, and numerous stuffed animals. The other area has two pool tables, a small dance floor, and a sound booth.
It wasn’t very busy during my visit, the patrons consisted mainly of older guys who kept to themselves.
There was a DJ that night playing hip-​hop. It didn’t seem like the right soundtrack for the place… in fact the patrons were pretty much clustered as far from the DJ as possible. :)
This is a bar I’d visit again… though preferably on a night minus the DJ.
