No stars! Went there today to recycle aluminum cans and after unloading my cans into their barrels they proceeded to put them into another set of barrels, which I’d never done before, so I mentioned that I hadn’t and the woman became very rude and decided to refuse my recyclables! And then… she wanted me to reload my cans back into my torn up bags! I was astonished at the poor and unprofessional service this center had to offer! Never going back! DONOTRECOMMEND! ! !

We went to elite because recycle 911 recommended it. I was looking specifically for a recycle center that paid for green wine bottles. I went to the web site and there it reads that all glass, green, brown, clear is accepted, there is even a little note section where they could make a note disclosing what they do not accept. So I took all the green, clear, and brown glass I had there. They only took CRV. Nothing else, stating the state of California does not allow wine bottles to be recycled. I wish they would make note of this in their note section. The employee Adrianna was nice enough and we used the Coupon from their website, and left all of our green glass there, as she said we could, but could not get paid for it. Lol

Might want to advertise on your website that for scrap metal you need to bring a minimum of 500lbs of scrap metal to even have anyone help you. Complete waste of time and effort to go today.

Don’t throw it in the trash! Recycle! Also, don’t throw it in your recycling bin, take it to ERS to be recycled and get some cash to spend at that next restaurant you are going to review on Unilocal! After filling up a couple trash bags full of plastic bottles and glass I headed on over to Newark to ERS(Elite Recycling Services) to get some cash. First park inside the gate and grab a rolling cart and a couple garbage cans to sort out your recycling. Plastic bottles in one, glass bottles in another(sorted by color — colored glass in one, clear in another) Roll your cart into the facility where a ERS employee will help you. He will ask for your name to enter into the computer and then weigh your recycling on the scale to see how much to pay you. Quick and easy and cash in your pocket! Quick tip: Check the Penny Saver to clip a coupon for ERS, to get more cash per pound on your aluminum cans that you bring to recycle

Went to ERS today and received the rudest service. I arrived at around 210 and they close at 230. First guy approached me and said there was not enough time to unload my recycling. I told him that it the 4 containers of glass and 2 bags of of plastic took about 5 minutes to load and please give show me what containers to put them in. Then after I removed the net and was ready to unload a second guy came out and siad that they were closed. I pointed at the sign and said that there was still 15 minutes. He just said we are closed and walked back in. I proceeded to go to Danny Recyclings as I have been using them for years. I guess I leaned a lesson about going to one closer to my house. Danny has always been a great place to go.
